I love how excited you are. I have the 10th doctor series 4 rubbertoe from a few years ago. The 9th and 10th doctors version of the sonic screwdriver is my absolute favorite
Finely a review of the replica
How did you get the Wand Company one repaired? Mine has been dead for years...
I sent it to be repaired, it was simply replacing the battery with a similar model, but I didn't trust myself to do it properly!
last time i trusted myself i broke one and had to buy another, broken one is now my "stunt" untill i get the balls to fix it @@PwllDdu
@@PwllDdu who did u send it to? i was thinking of doing the same with mine
@thewyit4222 I sent it to a place in Worthing: Repair My Things (or something like that), I can't remember the price as it was a few years ago now
@@PwllDdu should I be searching for like a soldering service shop?
Do you buy all these or are you sponsored. I wish i could get my hands on one but the price is ridiculous
I wish I was sponsored to be honest! I think that because these are BBC licenced products, I can't be sponsored by them. I agree that the price is ridiculous, but it's kind of worth it
@@PwllDdu in total how much do you think you have spent on rubbertoe replicas sonic screwdrivers. I'm so tempted to buy one but if I buy one 9th doctors one I'll need to get a 10th and then a 11th and then a 12th and then a 3rd 4th 5th and 8th. So I don't know if I should
@@LouieHodgson-sg4nu I've only bought 2 Rubbertoe sonics, the 4th Doctor's was about £300 total, and this one was £650, but the 4th's was half-birthday present. I can't really afford the more expensive ones, but there are cheaper alternatives; Little Shop Props are very good, and I also have a CT 11th and a RB Replicas 8th. All the others I have as CO toys; they're probably not as accurate, but they're close enough. So in answer to your question, I've gone for the cheaper ones in terms of Rubbertoe
@@PwllDdu thank you. You have both the ones I want to get first. I love the wide slider. Also dose nick robato make them himself or dose he have other pepole do it?
@@LouieHodgson-sg4nu I think it's him and a small team, but not really 100% sure
How much do they cost
£650 in total, they're also doing a Series 4 version too for the same price www.rubbertoereplicas.com/product-page/9thand10thsonicscrewdriver
@PwllDdu what is that in US currency?
@@ShadowMoon1412 around $827
My one is No.111, but I have not received the tracking yet ..🥲🥲 UK is in year end holiday?
I think it's still a working week at the moment (I'm not really an expert; I work irregular days) but I think yours might be in the next batch or the batch after as I think they send them 50 at a time
