ayo I’m a gold and I can air dribble, I think I deserve plat 1 in 2v2 because as I said I can air dribble in gold and I’m pretty good at aerials and ground plays. Not trynna be toxic, but I think I do deserve platinum 1. I mean I’m not super consistent with air dribbles but I get them 75 percent of the time. Blow this up so Mr.Napkin can see this.

Oh yeah. Golds learn a lot of mechanics and they just start to apply and improve them. That is why they aren't as advanced as plats.
For example, I learned to half flip in high bronze. I learned the basics of dribbling in silver. I also learned the basics of aerials in silver. Keep in mind that silvers are just learning to control the ball or the car, not how to control it well. By gold you start to improve those skills and you start learning other, more advanced mechanics, lik wavedashes or maybe air dribbles. Keep in mind that not all of these mechanics are useful. Thus, the gold may get stuck. Then, in plat, these mechanics that you have learned are way better - not perfect though. By plat you also know mechanics that speed up the game play, like wave dashes. You also know to path towards boost pads.

Fr. I didn't see much aerials. I'm a plat one and going up for everything. I mean I maybe get a good aerial 50 percent of the time. But as time goes on and my mechanics get better I know I'm gonna need to know air play. That along with air dribbling and taking time on plays is big. Kinda what he describes in the vid

At least thats what im hoping doing my trainings.

A lot of people seem to have a bad habit of switching out of ball-cam to get boost. For some reason I actually prefer ball cam for everything, to the point where I never think to switch out of it to dribble. Upside is that I'm a god at getting boost without looking. I've even memorized the positions of all of the pads even when driving towards the camera.
