My daughter is about to turn 7 and will be having a fairy themed birthday party. We watched this video together and she said "wow, this happened in real life, she made this beautiful fairy house, dad fairies must be real!" Thanks for keeping the magic alive!

When my granddaughter was five, I fashioned one diminutive shoe and arranged for her to find it in the garden. I will never forget her pure joy and excitement as she charged down the hill, tiny shoe in hand, yelling at the top of her lungs, "They are real!! Fairies are real!!!" She spent the next five years making wee things she felt the fairies needed (blankets, clothes, food etc.) and leaving them next to the hollowed out log where they lived along with impossibly tiny notes of love. The goodies and note would always be gone the next day and in their place were miniature notes of thanks from the very appreciative fairies.

That's lovely. Over here in the U.K. I was having a walk in some woods, a ways off from where I live, and someone had built one of these little fairy houses into a hole in the bottom of a tree trunk.

It's not easy making miniatures to such a tiny scale but everything you make looks incredibly realistic. I just made a miniature armchair in 1:24 scale, and I'll definitely have to make it again because I made so many mistakes with the first one 😅. I hope the fairies give you all your stuff back. There's a great story called 'The Borrowers' which is about these tiny people who like to live with humans but they're always borrowing our stuff to make their little homes out of. You have a Relocation Faerie. Or Relo for short! When things go missing you should call out 'Relo, where's my scissors?" or 'Relo can you help me find the green pencil please?!' I had a friend whose dad would turn over a tumbler glass, thus trapping the wings of the faerie, until his keys were found and returned, but he always warned that you MUST turn up the glass after the lost item appears or you would suffer 10 fold.
I think asking is easier and safer!
I had (and must work on re-working it), a book about Faeries I had encountered over the years and have photographed, drawn or just met and it's called The Cruel Fey. Some of them have appeared in my videos in the past too!

Ara! I just got an air fryer myself and it is a game changer (for cooking dinner, at least). Corsori is the brand I went with and after a ton of research I feel I did end up with the best. ❤️
Yes! We got gifted one for the holidays and at first I wouldn’t have told anyone they NEEDED one, it was just nice to have , but the more I use it time more I really like having it!

The fairy house is so cute! I may have to make one. I keep blaming my cats for missing items and they deny taking them. I'm happy to see that you are taking care of the new kitten. Hopefully the vet will give her a clean bill of health. All of my cats have found me. I think that is the best way, because if I went looking for them...
Some of the time it’s def the cats stealing things! 😂🥰 I’ve lifted up the couch and found a whole museum of cat toys and non cat toy crafts that they decided to run off with and bat around

Oh my god the detail on this is absolutely incredible!!! I recently made a miniature of part of Bilbo’s house in the Lord of the Rings movies and it was so difficult to get any detail that small. The carving of the furniture legs especially strikes me as that’s something I tried and failed at haha

If you look at 'door skins' at Home Depot, or wood veneers you will find a better deal than at craft stores and tougher, more attractive choices in wood than balsa, that is thin enough to do loads of projects very, very cheap! I used to make miniatures by hand, also and recycled the bottoms of old drawers and whatever I could find, the cost of miniature lumber threw me.. then I realized that the miniature wood dealers were cutting wood that they bought from the big lumber stores. You are so talented! That white wood wall looks so much like birch bark, and your furnishings are beautiful and imaginative, many blessings on you and your lovely fairy friends, hope they appreciate what a thoughtful kind friend they have in you.🧚♂🧚♀🧚

Your work is incredible! I do mini work, but nothing this tiny--or intricate! Brava! PS: my dad was a carpenter & many, many yrs ago used sawdust & glue as a wood filler. Lucky fairy! 💞

So cute!! I love all the techniques you used. Some are new to me. I actually have some texture paste, never thought to make my own, or even use it like that. That was awesome. Absolutely love my air fryer, but somehow I also never thought to use it to dry out flowers. Well done.. Thanks for the tips. Mini builds are always appreciated, but do what makes you happy. ^_^

Thank you for sharing with us I want to start making miniatures my mom got me the "Alice in wonderland world of miniature furniture" booklet. It came every three months in the mail. I would try to make the furniture but I was a kid and that was the early 70s. As I grew up. I eventually lost my precious books. I always wanted to make furniture and now that I'm in my old age I think i will. I have no more kids at home. Just my fur kids and myself. So you have great ideas. And show how you do things so I think with you and all the others I think I should do fine. 💜🐢

This is a good account to follow if you are learning! All of her projects look amazing and are low to no budget to make, and she finds really interesting, creative most importantly, inexpensive solutions to expensive problems! Like the vacuum former that she makes the costs under 10 cents-ish
