Chris is effortlessly funny in normal situations and hysterical on stage, as well as being someone who makes you think, someone who makes you relieved that it's not just you thinking a certain thing and he articulates it in a way that you couldn't because you don't know where to begin explaining why things that everybody is fine with, makes no sense. My only concern is that we use comedy to mask unhappiness and Chris is always hilarious.
I don't understand why Top Five didn't get more attention, it's funny as hell and actually has a decent story behind it so that it works on a level beyond just endless gags (which is the problem I have getting into most straight comedy movies). Also interesting how that comment about how it'd be easier for Adam McKay to make a good drama than Fincher to make a good comedy was kind of borne out seeing as McKay's probably gonna win an Oscar for writing The Big Short in a couple days
Chris Rock makes my "top 5" in regards to black people I would want in my neighborhod.. dunno who the other 4 are, but Chris Rock gives me hope that they exist

"So smart, so funny", the woman says in the end... which is so true! However, I would also like to add, so genuine.

What are you talking about? It’s an interview.
Chris Rock doesn't speak for all black people. This interview is patronising to say the least.
