I WANT TO TELL THE WORLD (fragment) - by Náhida Izzat - voice: the Buccaneer

Náhida Izzat was born in 1960 in Jerusalem and had to go into exile after the Israeli offensive of 1967. In her poetry she describes the life of the Palestinian people, marked by massacres and destruction. In this poem he collects a series of scenes that show a Palestine that they do not let be.
How to write about love or birds if more than 27,0000 people have been murdered (around 70% of the dead are women and children) since this offensive began, approved by the imperialist governments of the world, which continue to repeat that Israel has the right to defend themselves, while twisting words to justify this televised ethnic cleansing.
Despite what they try to justify with their story, they are murdering an entire people: children, health workers, doctors and also poets.
Hamas is not Palestine, nor Palestine, Hamas. If the terrorists cared about the Palestinians, they would seek to preserve their lives and would opt for the path of dialogue and peace. They seek, faithful to the terrorist modus operandi, to maximize the visibility of their cause through the deployment of violence. Regardless of what this may mean for the Palestinian people.

Gracias ide281. Cuándo elegí esta música para acompañar la poesía, no sabía que la canción era hebrea. Pero me quedo con lo importante, el mensaje de la poesía y aunque lo he hecho sin intención, podemos interpretarlo como un llamamiento a la conciliación de los pueblos judío y palestino. Tras la gran ofensiva israelí de 1967, es ocupado militarmente gran parte del territorio palestino, se instaura un absoluto régimen de apartheid.
Vaya aquí una mínima muestra de esa poesía de resistencia y denuncia; que sus versos resuenen y que algo arda en nuestros corazones.
