I met Patrick two months ago and he actually gave his testimony how he became a Christian. He is very influential among the America’s business elites.
I knew nothing about the muslim faith when I watched that debate and was frustrated with how things went. I started digging more into the muslim belief system to better understand what i just watched and thank the Lord Jesus Christ sams channel came into my feed and it's been such a blessing. I've easily absorbed 10+ hours of his content the last couple of days and I am blown away with what I'm learning!
Thanks Sam, once everything is taken in context, we see the beauty and mercy of God. We Christians need to devour the OT and all of scripture daily.

100%% agree. Both were not equipped on the Old Testament. They fall for their game making them more reasonable while calling on execution of innocent man.
Sam is absolutely correct about Apologists. We all have different gifting. If invited to these debates and it's not your gifting, politely say no and then RECOMMEND your brethren that have these gifting like Sam, Jay Dyer, Jay Smith etc. We have many. God help us.

I watched that Patrick show and I definitely can say that 2 Christians wins. They were more accurate and convincing 💯
I don’t know if this guy on the right does like lectures in video to Christian’s but as a Christian, I would absolutely listen to them. His knowledge of the Quran and the Bible is inspiring. Seems to know many of the points of conflict where a Christian could head off these tricks that the deceived will try to play. Ultimately, it’s not about winning a debate, it’s about exposing the Truth (Jesus) to this fallen world.

Shamoun at 1:19 makes perfect sense. Both Christian were not debaters but were brought to the table with 2 muslims who debate for a living. I would have had someone like Sam from a Orthodox/catholic perspective or Inspiringphilosophy (crushed Daniel on the Aisha debate IMO) brought to the table. That would have put the muslims on the spot!

I honestly think Robert did a good job overall. I watched the debate and thought Robert defended well when they just quoted the Old Testament and he called them out for not referring to the new one. However, I wished he corrected them when it came to worshiping saints (which isn’t true). He also should of focused more about illogical they were when they did it by quoting the New Testament.

I was so disappointed in how Robert Spencer handled the Islamic arguments and in the emotional arguments from Brother Rachid. You and God Logic could have taken them out comfortably.

Robert Spencer was willing to disown and discredit the Bible as a narration of men based on their best of their memory and best of their understanding rather than the preserved and eternal word of God just for him to score a point in the debate, that's how weak he was, and he still failed miserably . PBD was impressed that Muslims own and defend their faith. Spencer came across as an I'll informed hater.
Sam makes it look easy, rebuking ignorance. A common excuse I hear of people who are so “enlightened” and “compassionate” is: I’m not a Christian because so many people have been killed in the name of “Christianity”. Or, Christianity is intolerant of other religions etc. etc. the God of the Bible is so violent, and there is so much sacrificing of animals etc. etc. I don’t even KNOW where to start with these people.
why doesn't the Christian just state that the old testament is the old covenant and the new testament is the new covenant and thats why they are christian, bc there is a new covenant.
