I love this series "Lets talk crystals"! I always get excited when I get the notification of a new video! I was wondering if you could do one over "treated and man made crystals" (like goldstone, opalite, bismuth, aura quartz, titanium quartz, citrine) just to name a few! Id like to hear your overall thoughts on them. And are they just as effective as natural crystals/stones.
I remember when my raw eudialyte broke in about 5 pieces, I was devastated. But after calming down, I then realized that I can use these pieces and make myself a grid out of it. I still use this grid to this day. Nothing is lost but things evolve, lol.
That is a really perfect example of how our needs evolve over time and our gemstones help us! Great new use for your Eudialyte! 🙏💖🙏

Please don't, minerals and gems don't have the properties she claims, she is misguiding people about crystals, I am a PhD in materials and studied mineral physics pretty comprehensively, but no mineral will trigger any transformation or make light from darkness. Try dealing with life in real ways, not associating metaphysical properties to beautiful gems. I'm a PhD candidate I. Materials and I approve gems have non of the properties she claims. A gems can't change your mood humans, just be smart please.
I can't speak for Shannon but I don't believe that the stones themselves can do any of my work for me. I can say this though, after doing my morning breathwork in the backyard, the pretty stones started 'calling' to me. I had no idea they were what others call gems. I've never had an easier time staying sober since I started believing they could aid me in a vibrational level. The red agate in my profile picture is like coffee for me. My backyard here in Arizona is ripe with various agate and chalcedony that literally vibrate after a good breathing session. If it's a placebo then that's fine by me. Sure beats drugs and alcohol. I have goals for the first time in my life. I don't give all that power to holding a pretty pebble but I'm certain that there's power in there that helps me connect to something greater than what I believed myself to be a few months ago. I feel like this stuff connects me with my creative will. As I believe God intended. Congratulations on your PhD! Thank you for being of service to dummies like me!

I do state clearly in the beginning that the video is created in two parts - Examples of how I use crystal in my daily life, and then I answer the question in the second half. I am very clear about the structure of the video right up front.

Mam please don't learn these, her claims aren't scientific and crystals don't change your life. They are arrangements of atoms and they are beautiful, bot do not carry any further energy. Don't rely on a gem to heal or transform you. I'm a PhD candidate in materials and have studied gems extensively, and she's liying.

It really depends on the situation. Sometimes you ask questions, sometimes you'll need to clear your mind, sometimes prayer is best - it really depends on the specific situation. I talk about specifically how I sit with them in each episode 🙏💖🙏
My crystal broke slightly.. I mean a minute particle. Got broke from it from the top of the pyramidal structure of it.. Shall I use it.????
I look forward to seeing “Let’s Talk Crystals” videos because seeing how they’re used in everyday life really guides and inspires me. I get a better feel for how to add them into my life when I need healing or support. It’s also refreshing to see them less as a lesson video and more in a personal reflection.
I viewed this video once before, and went looking for it specifically this morning. I also have a big decision to make about what to do with a major project, and I look forward to sitting with my Kambaba Jasper. I actually purchased it from your crystal healing store last week and it’s currently in transit...coincidence? I'm so happy I found this video. Recently I signed up for a subscription box and I got a broken rose quartz pyramid. Unfortunately it's tip got broken off during shipping. And I know this because the tip was still in the box. My question is since the rose quartz was shaped in a particular structure does that influence its power? And would it be okay if I glued the tip back on? Thank you so much for these videos! I really look forward to your answer.

Earlier i had an orange aventurine and accendantly it slipped out of my hands and it was broken in 3 pieces. I cried. But my mum gluded it with superglue and idk if it stays. I will let yall know!
This is so timely for me. Last week my toddler grabbed my favorite crystal, a rose quartz palm stone, out of my pocket. I had slipped it into my pocket earlier because I was feeling emotionally wounded and this crystal has always been very nurturing and comforting to me. Well, I foresaw it’s demise seconds before it was launched into the air and broke into three pieces on my kitchen floor. I cried and cried… it was more devastating to me than I could have anticipated. I immediately set to supergluing it back together, but those seams are rough… could it still provide me the gentle self-love that it always helped me with in the past? Not wanting to be without a rose quartz, I immediately ordered a new palm stone online but am still working on bonding with it. I may retire my injured rose quartz to my display cabinet but for now it rests on my nightstand, ready to offer its gentle loving vibration, scars and all. 💜💖

I put my smokey quartz under the moonlight, but I think it was damaged by sunlight. 😢 I didn't bring it back inside in time. I'm a beginner crystal collector. Will it still work? It is cracked now, the color looks kinda the same, but it just looks overall rougher than when I got it. Should I retire it to a shelf? Btw- maybe I should mention that I am an empath and this is making me unusally sad- like how I feel when a plant dies or is sickly.

I have an question could you talk about the benefits of Polychrome (Desert) Jasper? I was gifted one the other day and I felt a strong connection with it and made me feel so comfortable and calm.

Also... are there any Crystals that keep getting DARKER... if exposed to the light??
There is this crystal called “Vivianite?” I heard that it started clear and then turned blue and green because it was exposed to sunlight and air.
Will it keep getting darker DARKER... as time goes on?
Some gemstones do get darker when heated 👍👍 So keeping them on a sunny, warm window sill may make them get darker. 🙏💖🙏

I am a jewelry designer, which is a fancy way of staying I work with gemstones and crystals to make beautiful jewelry. My question is about how others seem to destroy gemstones and crystals to create a piece of jewelry. I am not a believer in damaging the piece I am working with, so I try to stay as raw as possible. What are your thoughts, thanks.
I do think that falls into personal preference with the way you handle your gemstones and what you consider damage. I tumble and polish gemstones, but do I consider it damaging them? No. But I also do Reiki on the stones while in the tumbler. Any gemstone that you receive has broken any from a "parent" piece on some way, so it has already been damaged. Then there is also the consideration of ethical mining and the treatment of the laborers to collect the gems. Some people desire to know the exact source and mine of their stones so they know that it was collected responsibly. All this to say, I think it is all a personal reflection and decision 🙏💖🙏

I bought a new black tourmaline today and somehow it slipped and fall..it cracked ..didnt break in pieces tho ..am still using it

I am wearing a blue zircon. It has a little crack from inside. May be it cracked from inside when the gemstone ring was preparing. Can i wear this gemstone? Will it give good result? Please help with your advise.

I recently purchased a Tigers eye pendant at a amazing price! When I brought it home I noticed a horizontal crack…it looks like a black line across the stone. I got it for an amazing price and I still think it’s beautiful but does it mean anything if it has a crack in it? Specifically Tigers eye?

Hi! In new to crystals. I recently bought purple fluorite when I got the crystal it was so clear and since using my crystal I have noticed cracks and chips ( I haven’t dropped it) also noticing changes in the crystal and it changing shape slightly… is this normal? What is causing this?

I have been searching for some good Libyan dessert glass for months, finally found some and walk out the shop and drop it on the floor and it cracked into two (its not cheap either...) I wired wrapped it together as I was going to wear as a pendant anyway but I was soooo heart broken I thought I had done something wrong but this made me feel better thank you x

I have a rose quartz that had a light white line when I bought it. I didn't take it out if the little bag from the store for a week because I wanted to wait until I was ready to cleanse it, but when I took it out of the bag one week later the light white line turned dark brown and a quarter of the stone is brown. It hasn't been exposed to heat or anything, just sat inside on a coffee table for a week before I was ready to cleanse it. I asked about this on a facebook group and had some people say it was from negative energy and others say it could have been glued together before I got it and the brown was a reaction to the glue. I was wondering what your opinion on this would be? I am afraid to use my crystal because it doesn't seem right if it was glued together or discoloured due to negativity.
I received a huge 1.4 kg half polished half rough Amethyst the other day with yellow/brown stains colour on the rough part of the pointe. However, I did not like that and washed it with pure bleached (I seriously wanted to do that and I did) and it felt very strange although the stone does not look damaged at all now. Has that affected the quartz at all?
Hi Shannon. I have a question. How should I cleanse my red phantom crystal cluster? I've searched for the answer on Google and YT but I have not found a specific answer. I'm afraid to soak it in water due the iron content. Please help
For water sensitive stones - setting it near Citrine, Selenite or Kyanite is very helpful for cleansing . Also, setting them out in the moon light and doing Reiki on them 🙏💖🙏

Hi so I carry a couple of my crystals in a purple little bag I take with me to work. The bag is not knotted but closed tightly. Long story short my black tourmaline broke into small pieces, but it was OUT off the bag in my pocket, when I looked the bag was not even cracked open. What and how should I take care of these pieces? Thank you
I do talk about what to do with broken pieces in the video. Any gemstone that has a weak internal structure can crack, and this happens to many stones. It doesn't sound like you did anything wrong, but that there were probably some cracks already in the Black Tourmaline 🙏💖🙏
I am 12 months to retirement and I feel works getting harder not easier which makes me want to time travel.. Lol. Do you have a suggestion? 😊I also heard selenite has been known to break under extreme negativity
When I was getting ready to leave my corporate job, I used Mookaite and Bumblebee Jasper to help prepare me for the transition. Howlite and Red Jasper are excellent for continuing to "get the job done" even though you may be experiencing "short timer's disease" 😃

M starting to heal with the crystals and I chose citrine and green aventurine. I purchased tumbled stone, palm/worry stone and the tower/point, pendant and bracelet; 5 dif types of each crystal or item. Do I have to do cleanse, charge and add intention to each stone? I am sorry this is my first time, just wanna make sure I’m doing it correctly, thank you.
You really only have to do this with stones that you are actively working with. You may have many, many stones in your collection but are only working with a couple at any given time. 🙏💖🙏

I recently started to collect crystals, I’ve always love its natural inclusions n chips, that’s what makes them unique n beautiful.
I also got a singing bowl to cleanse them, but I’m not sure how long I should use the singing bowl to cleanse. I usually visualise my crystals, one by one being cleansed as I use the bowl, is that right?

hello! i have a big question. i just received some crystals and i charged them under the lunar eclipses last night. i woke up at 7:40 when the sun was up and when i got my rose quartz she was cracked and had a black dot where the crack begins:( is this a bad sign or?
It's not a bad sign, it's normal with stones. Many gemstones, especially quartz, have internal fractures already. Changes in temp (like being left out overnight) can cause them to crack further. 🙏
I just ordered this absolutely beautiful large Lemurian quartz and it apparently a tiny piece broke off in transit and after I was inspecting it another larger piece broke clean off. So I’m thinking that piece was cracked. That piece looks like it was a smaller lemurian quartz that was forming. The quartz is still absolutely beautiful. I’m just not sure if it will still work. I read sometimes you can share the pieces that break off a crystal for others to get healing as well. I guess my question is what do I do with my really big piece and the two other smaller a pieces?
Even though it's broken it can still be held or placed in a room to enhance it's energy 🙏

Some gemstones does take shine very easily, so the little bit of shine they are able to take might indeed be worn down quite easily. Especially the softer stones like Kyanite. 🙏

Because gem stones don't work in the way you claim, broken or unbroken. Fractured or not. This is a lie.
I have never stated that stones give "magical powers." I use them as a meditation tool for self-discovery and inner reflection. It is psychology, not magic. I have a Master's in Psychology and this is no different than the psychological effects that colors have on people.
