For 2nd HW Ans. is B--> 8 cm path diff.1 is 1 mm, path diff.2 is 0.6mm thus, net path difference by the two slits is 4*10-⁴ m. And, y = D(4*10-⁴)/d ... = 0.08 m

Sir, in 3rd question : intensity is inversely proportional to area.. As its width increased means area increased then intensity should decrease.. Can we think like this sir..
@@aashima294 we need to find the shift. The formula is y=D/d×t(refractive index -1). Here v have 2 thickness and refractive index. So apply the first data of t and refractive index in formula. Same as apply for second data. And take the difference of both y.(y1-y2). And solve it
