Very educative. Regarding the number of years you’re given to develop the land after paying for the land, I’ve seen some in an indenture. Same with this digging fee. With the digging fee, they state it in the indenture that you have to submit a building plan to the developer who is an estate agency for them to approve your building before you can start buying and you have to pay for fee for it too.

I agree that there should be a national secretariat to register the land for the families , instead of asking the families to do it themselves.

How do you get the restraining order? Do you just go to the court and ask for a restraining order without issuing any motion of any sort? Would it be an ex-parte application?
    Elaborate please

In fact, I think that the citizens should be given a FREEHOLD, to buy and own their lands forever, and the foreigner should be given a lease for maybe between 50-60 years, that is reasonable. I don't know what our intellectuals are thinking?

This new land law , I think was not properly thought of before passing, how can the poor man /woman who buys a land, pay for it and put up a house on it, and after 99years has to go back and pay maybe, if he bought it at 20,000, will have to go back and pay 10,000 cedis or more to renew it again or lose it with his property? Is this not fruading the citizens?

After 99 years it is quite reasonable to assume that the original owner has passed on and the land has been inherited by family members.
