I love all of the students and faculty at my school. It is however ridiculous that teachers are supposed to be professional adults 24/7 for a job that pays a non-livable wage. As it is, we are in full pursuit of happiness now, no turning back. Wish me luck!

it's so hard to be fired from the school where your dad has one of the highest status in it, something tells me it takes a very bad situation and proofs to have your dad provided work it means somethign truely bad happened to be fired.
he is a dad introduced to work trust fund kind of guy and he still fucked up badly enough to be fired from where his dad had a very high position, you can't fire that easily in this case. something happened. and he lies by omission about it.

It was an awful situation forced upon you and made clear - hurt people hurt people.
For a generation that’s in most areas have so many opportunities to learn and grow the Zoomer’s sadly have fixated on their ‘story’ and a need for a trauma to overcome or a redemption arc because that’s what they were fed. Then when they meet a positive and naturally happy individual comfortable with who they are so many feel a need to bring others down to their own lower gutter level where they feel trapped in. I've never watched a content creator in any category with better vibes than Blue. And I never watch streams from any creator because they are usually too long and i never know if anything interesting is even going to happen.. but DAMN it's easy to sit through those 3hr long nw reviews from Blue, truly one of the most entertaining people ever. Even with average video being 30minutes every day, some reviews and a podcast. It felt like there was still not enough content while he was already pumping out 10x more than other creators. And even though as a guy from EU with a schedule i can't be asked to be there for streams at awkward times. I'll always be there for every piece of uploaded content. This gonna be huge, show em Blue!

Just a small history my old manager at Apple he worked there for 17 years. This guy he would run around and do everything and most important? He would give us hours and makes sure we have enough staff always. What was Apple's response? You give too many hours even tho he did something good for the business these motherfuckers they fired him and didn't even let him finish his shift. Bro THIS DUDE WORKED 17 years of his life!!!!!! And they replaced him like he was nothing. We are all numbers to corporations and business. It's so hard to find a legit business that cares about you.

Been following you since I saw your reddit post for the Old Moon Podcast. You have three essential qualities that I really enjoy: audience engagement, informative content and relevancy. On top of all that you seem genuinely passionate about what you do (vs creators that are just hopping in for the clicks but have no idea/passion for the subject). Education system lost a champion but I'm glad you are getting a chance to pursue your dream!

I find it insane that teachers are supposed to be perfect, 24/7. We are people, why are we not allowed to live in the real world? you could clearly tell you are teaching, even before knowing that this was really the case. there is something in the way you do stuff that gives it away. i only have seen that with the best teacher i had. so this is a huge win for the bdo community, but surely a huge lost on the teaching side of things.
it is a shame for your society that we have so much money and wealth, like never before in history and still we can't pay teachers and for education over all. then restrict them to not be able to do what they want in their free time. it's a shame, this should be one of the most respected jobs out there, because it is surely one of the most important.

GL in your future job/side gig. Those contracts we all end up signing because we don't have a realistic choice are all like that when dealing with any kind of non-peon level job. I saw an assistant manager at Kroger get fired for being in a wet T-shirt contest, at least she got to look for a new job in Cancun lol. They're serious about pursuing everything so the best you can do is be honest upfront and get it in the contract so there's no issue.

A friend of mine was in the same situation and was fired from his work cause he did youtube also. He then sued the county/state and he won. You might wanna look into that.

Watching this news from Europe, and damn, didn't know that the teaching 'expectations' was this far-fetched in America.
Also, on the topic of medicine and streaming, there are a lot of 'celebrity docs' on the internet (examples being Doctor Mike and Dr. Chris Raynor), how come 'celebrity teachers' ain't a thing? To me, it sounds unfair and biased.
