This video shows you how to make 'sound cubes' that you can import into Tabletop Simulator to achieve a soundboard-esque setup.
This is EXACTLY what I needed. Thank you so much for making this video!
Glad it helped! Sorry for the quiet audio, it's my first foray into RUclips haha.
Are you running a TTSIM/TTRPG yourself?
4 years old but I respect the homie recording for our sakes even if his laptop struggles to record , I've been there a long time ago 😅😂
Glad you can help me get this running!
Coming in 3 years after this has been uploaded to let you know all of your directions still hold up, and you explain the entire process very well! Thank you so much for this
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR THIS
this tutorial worked perfectly, i managed to make my very own sound cube (i'm making a bunch of cubes with various soundtracks for the table)
Change in 2020: when opening the folder from GitHub, the starting window in Unity now looks different. You no longer get the option to chose "Open Project". Instead you can click on the button called "Add". Furthermore, to use the GitHub folder from this video, you'll need to install an older version of Unity (can be done by following the directions in the initial Unity window).
Awesome man... took me a little bit but even after three years this videos on point. theres a couple new things you have to do with the unity hub... but it was pretty straight forward!! fn excellent... made a couple cubes already!!!!
dude! thanks to you my pen and paper evening got to a new level thanks to awesome ambient sounds! if anyone is interested, download the soundboard from the tabletop simulator workshop. you can drag asset bundles on top of it and every sound gets a button you can easily press. and you get a "stop" button on top!
Ah! Thank you! This told me what over a half hour of searching through forum and reddit posts didn't. That is that I needed to increase the size of the attribute to be able to attach sounds.
Straight to the point, clear instructions. Very nice.
Nice, easy to follow tutorial thank you
thanks! was able to make a custom soundboard for a pathfinder game easily thanks to you
Transmetropolitan
Thanks so much for this tutorial, it was exactly what I needed for my dnd campaign.
I see you like dbz, i like dbz too.
Thanks for this, if i cant find a easy to use finished one i Will definitivt do this.
Hopefully this method still works as I've yet to try it but thanks for the tute!
me file always save as .Prefab no as .unity3D why ? can you help me please ? :D
So will everyone playing have to have everything downloaded or just the host?
Hey amazing video, really easy to follow but im having a problem. The first cube I did worked fine but the second one is coming up with an error: "k_EResultInvalidParam". Do you know, by chance, any way to fix that? Thanks!
Is there anyway to add sound effects that will play only for a specific player?
How Ironic, the guy making a sound video, produces his video at the lowest possible volume.... dude.
