  • Located in Trollhättan, Sweden, NEVS has set out to change how we as a society think about mobility. The idea behind NEVS is not complex. The team, or tribe rather, wants to contribute to making the world a better, more sustainable place and the method of choice is a “mobility as a service” platform.
This new mobility ecosystem, referred to as PONS, includes the Sango, an electric, autonomous vehicle, the user-friendly Okulo app, and the Koro fleet management system. In other words, it is a full package to change the way we think about going from A to B.
“We want to improve our quality of life, but we need to decouple that from our use of resources,” states Felix Andlauer, Vice President Mobility Solutions, NEVS. “Autonomous vehicles are really an option to make people share vehicles and use our resources more efficiently.”
Besides its vision to make the world a better place via sustainable mobility, NEVS draws on its Swedish heritage as well. The company is located on the site of the former SAAB Automobile plant in Trollhättan, Sweden - an iconic car company known for its innovative design and engineering. NEVS continues this traditional by promoting a philosophy of openness in collaboration, quality in design, and innovation in engineering and ergonomics.
A core factor contributing to this bustling hub of engineering innovation on the Trollhättan site is a solid partnership with Siemens. A key partner in the SAAB days, Siemens continues to support the team at NEVS. Today, Siemens experts and the most advanced Siemens tools from the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio are a critical part in making the Sango and PONS ecosystem a reality.
