I love how Destoroyah is the most evil of the villain monsters and how he is feared by all the other big bads.
To he fair, he's the only one to kill Godzilla proper, and in an enhanced state.
Considering he is not above killing Junior infront of Godzilla while he could do nothing but watch in the original movie he was featured in, I would be terrified too 😅

It works narratively as it lets them utilize Ghidorah in a less serious manner and play into the "Kevin is a goof" craze that people like, but its still a bit off having someone else over Ghidorah in the pecking order. He's Godzilla's arch enemy for a reason.
12:22 My interpretation of this scene is that Destoroyah wasn't asking for Gigan to leave, but asking for him to get near for a talk. He probably noticed that Gigan was acting more maturely than the other bad boys, and was interested in him.

If you read the subtitles it say "Get this early 2000's chump outta here" so while it is a cool idea destoroyah did want him gone
While I do like that theory better, I feel like it's more likely that he was trying to say that Gigan doesn't belong, because him tapping 3 times is mirroring of Kamacarus tapping the "Big bads only" sign 3 times.

For those of us (like me) who are utterly clueless about kaiju villains, is Destoroyah like the biggest baddest villain of them all? I wasn't sure what he was saying in that scene where he pointed at Gigan.
@@mikepalmer1676 destroyah was the final antagonist of the heisei series. Mutated by the oxygen destroying bomb that killed the original Godzilla and packed with devilish imagery. They have a whole assortment of destructive abilities and forms that made it quite a difficult battle for Godzilla. Were it not for Godzillas burning form and The Military having freezing weapons to take advantage of Destoroyahs weakness to extremem tempratures I'm not sure if Godzilla would've been able to win.
(PS. A lot of people debate on what gender destoryah actually is because Toho hasn't confirmed it either way. I use they pronouns for destoroyah personally since I find most of their forms rather androgymous and since they kinda form from a group of pre existing mlit cellular organisms they are sort of like a hive mind anyhow.)

Gigan and Megalon as buddies and housemates is one of the most endearing concepts I've seen. Love the conclusion and Gigan's acceptance that being a B-Movie monster is no bad thing. Would love to see more of this duo in the near future. Top marks

I honestly think the "big bad" room was created so normal customers wouldnt get scarred of Destroyah, then all the loser big bads started showing up. Unlike destroyah none of them got to kill godzilla

You know, after reading Baragon and Biollante's bios, I feel like they may be a good pair-up for an episode. Considering your version of Baragon is almost like a giant puppy, he'd probably be the only kaiju that wouldn't be put off by Biollante; it would be pretty funny and cute to see Baragon trying to be friends with Biollante and her not knowing what to do with him due to him not running away from her like everyone else. Just a potential concept for another episode.

I love how in the end Gigan realizes it’s ok to be himself and stick with Megalon, even if the more intimidating Villain Kaiju don’t care for their help in their current states.
Loved all the cameos and references as always. Found it funny how Millenium Gigan was basically just armor.

Based on the intermission, I hope you will give Biollante the spotlight, and hopefully flesh her out some more. She was a monster I was afraid of, but always felt some sympathy.
Yeah, Biollante needs some love. I think it would be interesting to see her interact with them. Especially since she's directly related to Godzilla and possibly Space Godzilla.

This is by far my favorite piece of Godzilla content in a while. I have always enjoyed the idea of a sitcom-based godzilla story, which is absolutely hilarious. Thank you for creating this masterpiece.

As someone who has loved Gigan since I was a kid, I absolutely love his portrayal here! A bad guy that isn’t “bad” per say but really just a dork who tries his hardest to fit in and gets in trouble with his friend! It fits surprisingly well, you’ve done well by Gigan and I certainly have a newfound appreciation for Megalon too, he’s adorable!

It’s so refreshing to get somthing diffrent from the fanbase like this, the worldbuilding, the personality’s of the Kaiju, the designs and animation are just so well done.

@@DarkninjaGD30 Final wars was meant to be, well, "Final wars", and Ghidorah is Godzilla's archnemesis, so having someone besides ghidorah as the Big boss monster that Godzilla has to defeat at the end wouldn't have felt right (Especially since Megalon is charitably put at "mook tier").

Makes sense that king Ghidorah isn't as scared as everyone else.
He probably isn't oxygen based, so he might not even be affected by the oxygen destroyer, he might be the only non Godzilla monster able to go head to head with him.
Ghidorah looks like he wants to get the hell out tho
Saying Ghidorah might be able to go against Destoroyah because he cannot use the oxygen destroyer is like saying Darth Vader can't do anything without his lightsaber.. still a somewhat good shot given the qualities

This is everything i've ever wanted in a Godzilla-related animation and I love it.
The message is surprisingly heartfelt, and the little hijinks the kaiju get into are hilarious.

I love how gigan is portrayed as a middle aged man. My respect for him has grown
Once again, another home run of an animation that is everything I could’ve hoped for. All of the references are great, the animation and designs for the kaiju are so appealing, and all the personalities of each kaiju are by far my favourite interpretation of them. Gigan is a jerk who really just wants adoration and to be recognized by his peers, and Megalon keeps getting dragged into Gigan's messes, even if Gigan doesn't recognize how much Megalon actually cares about him. I love Gigan's character development, bros before sexy upgrades. The villain squad is great, King Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla are the no nonsense iconic villains, Spacegodzilla is a dirtbag bully (who's also bisexual and we love that about him), Hedorah is that weird one, and Destoroyah is the scary guy in the back who absolutely no one messes with. Biollante's character blurb also has me very interested, I love interpretations of her that acknowledge her origins and how freaky she is, instead of just being a girlboss 24/7. I know you've talked about her getting some more screentime before and I'm very interested in seeing that. This series is really, really good at shining spotlights on Monsters who don't usually get enough focus, whether they be the protagonists or the side characters. I'm also just very impressed at the animation quality in all of these, like this is a 15 minute video that only came out 2 months after the last one?? That's insane dude, I admire your dedication. Keep doing what you're doing man, I thoroughly enjoy these.
Speaking of monsters who don't get enough focus... A Manda episode or a Mothra episode, maybe? I know Mothra's one of the Big Four/ the Big Five/the Big Six, but she always dies, and rarely wins fights on her own terms or gets as much respect or focus as her co-stars, and so rarely do fan works do justice to her, in my opinion. And Manda's also got some potential, how does a magitech bioweapons beast created to guard an underwater kingdom just move in onto Monster Island and start living free?

Also i love the lore youve put in to each monster. The best part? It all makes sense it all in character for the kaiju from what weve seen just more humanised. And poor biolantte what you wrote makes a lot of sense for her since whe was made with kaiju, plant and human dna so her thoughts are probably a bit scrambled
Her soul is of a human with memories of her previous life, it’s a lot for her to deal with.
Megalon is my absolute favorite Kaiju, and this adorable lil skrungly version of him is currently my entire reason to function

10:19 I love how King Ghidorah is just making plans on how to beat godzilla, it is so in character for him. How his plan is to separate anguirus with Hedorah, so he can go in for the kill, also fun detail is the fact that space godzilla and Destroyah both have pieces of them, a suttle little hint that destoryah is in the room.
You really nailed the personalities of the kaiju
As a Gigan fan, I always picture him as a suckup to King Ghidorah. Only when the moment is in his favor, he will dethrone him
Your portrayal of him has similarities to the one in Godziban, showing at least some positive traits to those he cared about

One thing I've always loved about Godzilla vs. Megalon is how it shows the villainous kaiju as legitimately great pals, in a surprisingly wholesome way, who thoroughly delight in beating up Godzilla and Jet Jaguar, and that is captured perfectly here.
My niece and I have watched Godzilla movies together since she was little! Seeing Space Godzilla with a #1 uncle mug really made us laugh!
Where was this in my childhood? The art style, respect, and usage of all the monsters is so fun to watch. Good stuff :)
Actually one of the cutest things to exist (non debatable), I love this. The characterisations are just insanely adorable and creative. Love the use of their roars as laughter and other emotive sounds!
Gigan and Orga are two of my favs.
I like how more or less, Megalon’s like Gigan’s little brother.
I love this so much. It's so awesome and cute. I love all the details and references. Herdorah being an art house film maker is so perfect and I love how supportive Megalon was of Gigan of his movie poster and his upgrade to Millennium Gigan until Gigan decided to ditch him for the big bads. Just like in Godzilla vs Megelon, just leaving poor Megalon. I felt so bad for him. This animation is so wonderful and fantastic!
Hedorah being an Art house director makes alot of sense seeing how trippy that movie was

hedorah being into art house and making semi environmental themed short films is sooo good. hedorah in a little beret staring off into the ocean made my day.

The look Space Godzilla gave Titano was funny but after someone gave him that note and he made his look even more zesty made me laugh so hard
These godzilla animations are so colorful and full of life I cant even begin to say how much I love them! The designs for all these characters and the relationships between kaiju is just amazing! May this series run long and prosperous!

This is hilarious and heartwarming. I love the portrayal of SpaceGodzilla. Gigan did Megalon dirty. Shame he didn't get blasted for that but I'm glad he came to his senses. Biollante's bio at intermission was genuinely sad and I hope she gets better in a future episode.

The way they made megalon is amazing dude, he looks strange considering being the guardian of the seatopians, and being a warrior (in the movie he could fly at mach 3, dig at mach 3, swim at mach 4, and could jump 10 kilometers)

The route you went with destroya is SPOT ON!! The fact you only need to hear is the tapping of his claws on the table and the look of fear on the villain kaiju’s faces to know the Kaiju that almost DESTROYED Godzilla is in the “big baddie section” of the bar shows you know your stuff! Also space Godzilla don’t discriminate, if he sees a hot Kaiju he is chill regardless XD

Gigan is one of the Godzilla enemies I ever saw him. Even he has a Upgrade in Godzilla final wars, Where he is very taller, Has Darker Blue And has a new upgrade body form.
