The TCG cards are very beautiful, and every pack is fun to open. The most disappointing thing is that you get a pack without a premium card, but it has Ash Blossom or Forbidden Droplet, Change of Heart. You can't lose.
Maybe you would agree with me CALEB, that the TCG version of the ULTIMATE & CR cards are pretty much their own rarity. I mean it is definitely not like the Japanese version which have more "etching" definition to the pictures, while the TCG has more of a HOLOGRAPHIC effect to the cards. Making them totally different kinds of cards.

this isn't a profit set, this is intended to crash the secondary market for budget players to keep up. I bought 6 superdroplet and lightning storm for $30 as a presale price.
@@Cardlimitsafter being out of the mix for the past 2 years, I've been caught up in a lot of my older decks very quickly. Of course, alot of the newer archetypes are top cut but I don't buy into konamis power creep like that. Not making a ycs top but oh well ...🤷
@@madbart214yomother7 I don't want to attend, between travel, lodge, and food you're spending over 2 grand for one weekend. Most players don't have that access and the competitive community will consider you a bad player just because you're not as wealthy.
@@Cardlimits I feel that. Honestly, they hold one a regional close to where I live so it would be like a 30 min drive and then I would just come back. I'm still gonna try and see what it's all about. Cheap decks do top just not all the time, I'm being pessimistic as always. Never know till you try 🤷

Nothing beats that glimmering glittering shining lines. I know Quarter Century Secret Rare is similar/same to Starlight Rare, but I like the lesser shiningness of Starlight compared to QCSR, and out of the new luxury rares, it's got to be Platinum Secret Rare. I love the OG Plat Rare Noble Knights, not the best, but I love them! As for the new rarity, for me, I think it's: TCG Collector's Rare > JP Collector's Rare TCG Ultimate Rare > JP Ultimate Rare The JP has that Premium Gold pop up borders, which isn't bad, but I'm not too fond of them.
The QCRs and CRs look great from this set. Definitely not a fan of the new ultimate rares....they look cheap. Standard ultis look far better. I am undecided about Platinum secret rares.

The names are the easiest way to tell supers, ultras, secrets and QCSR are all the same as they've been plat secrets have the shattered style name CR have the secret rare lettering utlis have the ultra rare lettering
that's exactly what i have, a number album with highest rarity for every number card including chaos, future and shining, i just upgraded my number 100 with QC. you are going to need to move them all up 1 space again as we are getting number 1 buzz king in maze of millenia next year. already moved all mine ready for it.

there's an easy way to tell the difference, ultimate has gold name and collector has silver name. platinum secret has shiny borders.

my favourite rarity is definitely the old school, classic ultimate rares. The ones in this set are cool, but nothing beats those imo

I just want a higher rarity of dark law and not pay 300 bucks. Got a collectors rare and I'm happy with that.
Ultis after ROTD-OCG are my faves (as long as it isn't a Synchro or an Xyz where you can't see the foiling).
There are so many rarities in this set. I wonder how much value each of the rarities will add compared to the super rare prints of each. 🤔
Cool set, would love to see some extra older cards from the first couple sets, like, y'know, Blue-Eyes White Magician. ;)

First box I opened yesterday had 4 QCSR’s. Crazy box lol not sure if it was some kind of mistake though. But it is possible.
