After a while she got so frustrated she literally left the castle, ran all the way outside back to the place where you start, and demanded chat teach her how to side flip. We taught her, which is what allowed her to pass the jump at around 0:56. Those parts where she's randomly crouching or running in seemingly arbitrary directions while trying to jump are her actually trying to do a side flip.

However, the platforming is a bit slipperier than you'd think, and TTC specifically is the single hardest level in the game due to the precision required just to navigate it. She's somewhat below average in skill but getting boned by TTC is probably the most common SM64 experience.

Pikamee should be thankful that she somehow manage to not enter the stage when the minute hand is near "9". That would have been pure Hell for her. (The speed of the stage changes depending on what the minute hand was on when you enter the stage.)
