My group already does the first one with index cards. We put character name on the player side and then on the dm side we write our player and character names, max hp, armor class, passive perception, and any other relevant numbers the dm needs like darkvision or whatever. Then the when we roll initiative the dm rearranges the index cards to match and puts in any monster or npc cards he can quickly just write the name up for
The largest initiative group on the player side was i think 12-15. There was 7 of us players, plus two dragon companions, and like 4 or 5 NPCs on our side, one of those npcs being Bahamut in disguise as a dragonborn named Keith. We were fighting Vecna. And then we had to fight Tiamat.
Anytime I’ve had creatures that outnumber my party, I make the creatures all share a turn, and I’ll maybe move four or five of them on that turn. So… technically, I’ve had an initiative count of well over 300, but in reality it’s only 10.
30. We were ambushed by 2 kobolds. Bard blasted his bagpipes for bardic inspiration and alerted the rest of the kobolds. 3 v 27. We lost.
The math adds up here
What’s the biggest initiative group you’ve ever had?

Thank you for sharing, I just bought something from their website
I ran a system without an initiative order recently it worked really well i wonder if it could be adapted to dnd
Biggest initiative group I was ever in was a table with 20+ players at it. Worst D&D experience I ever had.
That sounds terrible
I love harrison fjord
7 players, 4 NPC allies, 23 enemies 😅
