I love that Ronny allows random participants to steal the show. The people who got the most screen time were getting into the comedy, like the black mom arguing for apple pie over pumpkin. I love pumpkin spice (yep, I'm white), but she was FUN! Most comedians dislike competition, they want audience members to always play straight man. It speaks well for the character of Ronny and the Daily Show gang that they encourage amateur comedians to shine with them.

The pie filling industry years ago shifted from the traditional 'pumpkin' as we know it, to a closely related but separate variety of squash more suited to pie filling. Those jack-o-lantern type pumpkins you see in the stores around Halloween and in the fall leading up to Thanksgiving? Yeah, don't buy one of those expecting to make a decent pumpkin pie with those.

Ronny Chieng is right about buckles. I am tired of needing to replace my shoe strings every couple of years once they have worn out. If buckles wear out, they can be melted down and made into new buckles. When shoe strings wear out, they go in the trash and will probably never break down because they are most often made of synthetic materials like polyester and nylon. Why do people want to wear plastic on their feet when they could wear brass, gold, or silver?
I admittedly find St. Patrick's day to be a little weird. I agree. Thanksgiving is definitely the worst holiday. I hate everything about it, except for giving thanks and spending time with family but you don’t need thanksgiving as an excuse to do those things. Be grateful every day and spend time with your family and friends because you love them not because it’s a “holiday”.
