well yoo ah in is not being rude, he just made himself to be a strong personality and not back down from anyone, and to move forward and do big things in entertainment industry you do need to have strong personality and such, he has a reason for doing all this, he said in one of his interviews that when he was young he was very nice to people and talked with respect but he was constantly stepped down and taken advantage of by those people. He said it left a big scar in his heart and started being cold. He's like most of the korean drama male lead actors who are cold on the outside but warm hearted and loving inside. I feel sad for him because he said to this day he has only one or two friends he trusts because most of the time he was betrayed badly by friends when he was young. You can't really blame him for acting like that because he has a history of being betrayed and belittled by people who he thought were his friends...
The way he talk, outspoken and to the point actually become his strenght. At least he is honest. I admire his skills. He is the true artist, not just an actor. I don't know, sometimes I see him so "dark", his eyes seems like keep pain or ambition or what ever I don't know. But it makes him more attractive.

He's not underrated. He have a lot of movies in SK not everyone actorr can have a movie, and all his colleagues in his film are all veterans. He's a highly recognized effective actor.

the thing that turned me off about him was that i saw something where he talks in 반말 to an older PD in his 40s. and he got mad about things people did to him, but he did those same things to other people - which makes him a hypocrite but he does have incredible charm and charisma. i have to say i love him as an actor
