- Racking Mead - Mulberry Mead Racking - Morat Racking. Part Two of the Morat, or Mulberry Mead is Racking to Secondary, using an Autosiphon. Racking is the act of moving the brew from one vessel to another, usually using a siphon. Racking mead is done to help it clear, remove the lees, and remove any particles that we don't want in the final Mead, among other reasons to Rack Mead.
