did you fizzle out too soon on the job the first day?, i thought you'd gone flat .. sincererly your boss, letting you know by just popping in to see how you were today, apparently you wrote this five days ago...and I just got back to you now.
I love how Americans see the warning label on Ramune and immediately make it dirty. My Japanese friends are always just like "They mean fingers! Come on Michelle!"
ever tasted an american soda? if not: imagine a glass full of sugar with a tablespoon of water and another one of artificial flavouring. If you are accustomed to those things, then you won't like almdudler. Its not sweet enough, and the natural herb flavour has almost no taste compared to the artificial flavourings.
@@anashiedler6926 I tried Mountain Dew and Doctor Pepper once. And youre right. They taste like a package of sugar with some food flavouring dropped into. I do like Ginger Ale though.
I'm pretty sure when they say body parts it means your finger, because the soda has a marble inside of it, kids often get their finger stuck trying to get the marble out.
I wish they had included Peruvian Inca Kola! I'm from Argentina but my Peruvian friend brought me some when she went to her hometown on vacation, and it tastes JUST like bubblegum!
I was thinking the same thing😂😂😂I'm half Peruvian and when I tried it I fell in lovvveeeee. Also it goes perfect with the food or withough its just perfection in a liquid❤❤❤❤👌👌👌
I'm surprised more people didn't like the Malta, it's been one of my favorite drinks ever since I was a kid. I was friends with a Nigerian girl and they always had Malta stocked up at their house. I've always thought of it more as a kiddy beer rather than soda lol.
I feel like Malta is one of those things you have to drink from an early age to like it, if that makes sense. I've loved malta ever since I was little, yet oddly enough I don't like root beer.. (I didn't grow up in the US though)
I really like ramune, actually. I never tried the generic one, though, only the kinds with the flavor marked on the bottle (orange, strawberry, grape, etc.).
"Do not place any body parts in to bottle" it's like someone out was like "anything's a dildo if you're brave enough" then the company got sued and put that warning on there
The last one was literally Malta, I never even considered it as a soda tho....I guess it's strong like it. Anyways there's different brands and I think it's a Caribbean thing, people usually mix it with milk, but I hate it with milk I just drink it "raw". It tastes like nothing they described it as lmao.
It looked like a small company that has the local, home made theme(its in a glass bottle not plastic and it looked ol' timey) so it wouldnt be all over, probably just in london, im from yorkshire and have never seen it.
lollie87 Yeah, i think we have (or had, i don't remember) a lemon version too, and since they have their 80th anniversary this year they have special flavors like "rhubarb and raspberry", "melon and lemon" and "passionfruit and mango".
How can you not like Victorian lemonade? It's literal LEMONade not the sweet lemonade you Americans have you can actually taste the lemon not like your sweet water you think is lemonade.
To be fair I've never even seen that in the UK. There's loads of nice fizzy drinks here they could have tried like Dandilion and Burdock , Tizer , Irn Bru , Ben shermans Lemonade etc
Iron bru is shit too ivs seen it but idk anybody who goes out of their way to drink it ever... Ribena over All. Rio is lovely yummy too. Lilt is better than bru. Bru is poo, just drink water.
ThisIsDjYigytugd Well they obviously haven't said anything in those exact words, but in their older "Americans try / taste (Something foreign) they were almost exclusively snobs and 'Murican supremacists.
My friend and I were in the Japanese food section of the store, and we bought a Ramune. We spent 10-20 minutes opening it, and from then on, whenever an event comes up, we get each other one of those heavenly sodas.
Americans apparently have a different sense of sweetness, Almdudler doesnt really taste sour to me (and I've never heard anyone say it does), here in Austria it is actually quite common to mix it with sparkling water as it is quite sweet!
I am Puerto Rican, Dominican, and Peruvian. But been born and raised in the USA. We would always buy Malta goya since I was little. What nationality are you?
I remember once I got ramune and I really wanted the marble.. so I broke the bottle on my deck, got glass all over the place and in my fingers, and I lost the marble that day 😂
As a German that has been to Austria a bunch of times now I can confirm that Almdudler tastes better in Austria than in Germany even though it's the same brand.
Almdudler! Literally the best memory I have of our Austria vacations. I was so happy when they started selling it at our local supermarkets! I love it, tastes like childhood.
OMG Almdudler!!! The stuff of my childhood! We always drank this when we went on ski class with our school. (although they did sell it at home and recently it's popular again). I have to admit we did always mix it with EVERYTHING. If you have 30 kids in a class and you're drinking 10 different kinds of soda ... you have to mix it and maybe add some pepper and salt for extra bleurgh :p
I love Malta. It's non-alcoholic and not to mention healthy. My mom hates it due to the taste, but the rest of my family loves it. My dad used to give us this before or after sports because it's an energy supplement. And~~ it tastes even better when it's cold (either refrigerated or with ice...ice dulls the taste though)
I did this once, I went to the coco cola factory and their was one room where you could taste sodas from all over the world. I can't be sure but I think I strayey as far as I could from the Japanese booth after looking at the one soda NAME "squid something or other"
I have had all of the fentimans flavours of drink which are Victorian lemonade, ginger beer, mandarin and Seville orange jigger, curiosity cola and finally dandelion and burdock. I got them all from a museum close to where I live and it is called beamish museum. It is all about the old Victorian, Tudor and Elizabethan times and I love it.
+stephanie cohen Just the other day, someone in a comment said they thought I was 12! I'm 21!! Although my picture is a couple years old, I was still 18-19 in it
As I've probably stated previously, malta has beer ingredients (like barley and hops) that some may not like without the alcohol. Regular varieties can also be on the "heavy" side (can have 200 calories [almost all from carbs, both sugars and starches] per 12oz. bottle), ~ +50-60 than a similarly-sized regular beer or sugar/corn-sweetened soda. OTOH, "light" varieties have roughly the same 90-100 calories a similarly-sized light beer (as is the case for beer, can't be made now w/o calories) has and are almost as enjoyable as a soda when accompanied by food. Genau. Wo isch rivella? Und es isch soviel i weiss sogar nur ir schwiz erhältlich und almdudler kama au bi üs kaufa. Aber i muass sega almdudler isch fein. Yeah right. Were is rivella? As far as i know it's only available in switzerland and almdudler you can buy here (switzerland) too. But I have to say Almdudler is great.
You asked what to add to the Malta. I've been told that maltas are drunk with an egg in them as a healthy protein breakfast drink. Some add milk as well. There are a few brands available in the Hispanic Isle at most large grocery stores in the states. Surprisingly, they mostly come from the same brewery in Pennsylvania. Highly malted roasted barley gives the taste. If shipped from Cuba, probably spoiled. Get fresh one from your grocery. It will taste better.
I have a job crushing Coca-Cola cans. It's soda pressing.
•_•)
( •_•)>⌐■-■

LOL soda pressing
Nice one ^_^
Oh, you do not you big liar. Do you? For real? No, you don't. Or......?
did you fizzle out too soon on the job the first day?, i thought you'd gone flat .. sincererly your boss, letting you know by just popping in to see how you were today, apparently you wrote this five days ago...and I just got back to you now.
I love how Americans see the warning label on Ramune and immediately make it dirty. My Japanese friends are always just like "They mean fingers! Come on Michelle!"
That's just two Americans....not all...
+Michelle Evans Ramune is amazing!
Savannah Wagner Pretty much me and all my friends and people I've met thought the same thing. I for one am proud of our dirty minds
LMAO why did they have to label it "body parts" tho??? Couldn˙t just make it say "fingers"?
I was surprised that Jarritos from Mexico wasn't on here. The mandarin flavor is really, really good.
One of the best drinks ever lol It was the main beverage at my sister's wedding hahaha
Yeah. I just had it tonight with dinner. That stuff is the bomb.
the pineapple rules
I haven't tried it yet. I guess I'll have to try it the next time I see it.
i love the strawberry!
As an Austrian I can`t imagine anyone NOT liking Almdudler. It`s the most perfect taste any soda can have.
They probably didn't drink it chilled
ever tasted an american soda? if not: imagine a glass full of sugar with a tablespoon of water and another one of artificial flavouring. i cant stop watching americans taste things. it's 2:44am and i need to sleep
Same
must. resist.
Omg, me too x'D
"Do not place any body parts into the bottle" Well that ruins my afternoon plans....
If it says body parts, seriously do not place it especially something that you really need... If you know what I mean
Hami Suhaimi
You mean my thumb, which I need to pick things up with?
I'm pretty sure when they say body parts it means your finger, because the soda has a marble inside of it, kids often get their finger stuck trying to get the marble out.
LMAO
Men love to shove anything up their ass
I'm Austrian and almundler is sooo good
Yes! Almdudler simply tastes amazing. :D
I LOVE Almdudler.(I´m from Austria too) but the only think is that i have such a weird after taste that I have to drink more or tons of water haha
I noticed that they pronounced Jahre wrong.
I'm not austrian, but I also love Almdudler!
Michael Gratz for whatever reason they thought the J was closer to the Spanish J (which is more like a H)
lol
I wish they had included Peruvian Inca Kola! I'm from Argentina but my Peruvian friend brought me some when she went to her hometown on vacation, and it tastes JUST like bubblegum!
AtomicKittenBaby Yes! Peruvian restaurants will also sell it now, but back in the day, it was one of my favorite things about going to Peru as a kid.
I'm brazillian but i also think that yellow pee-looking thing tastes like heaven
AtomicKittenBaby omg! I love INCA COLA! WHY no inca cola! Guess where they have some? Coca-cola world in Atlanta! I love INCA COLA more than any soda!
Potato Unicorns Fail xD but yeah, inka kola is the best
I was thinking the same thing😂😂😂I'm half Peruvian and when I tried it I fell in lovvveeeee. Also it goes perfect with the food or withough its just perfection in a liquid❤❤❤❤👌👌👌

ImpracticalJake So true and I hate root beer too
ImpracticalJake yeah i know what you mean
Yeah, everyone I know who likes Malta drank it as a kid. I personally hate the stuff, had root beer since little though and love it
I first tried Malta a few months ago, and I find that I'm rather fond of it. To me, it tastes like molasses, which I also like.
Don´t you dare insulting my beloved Almdudler!
Ikr its my favorite thing ever
Praise the Almdudler! Greatest thing ever 👍
OMG HAHAHAHAHHAHA ich leb in Österreich und ich mag almdudler auch nicht
I'm actually in love with it

Do not place any body parts into the bottle.

max ace Yeahhh totally got my finger stuck in a bottle (when I was a kid) once trying to get the marble...lmao
hopfly2 You didn't get the joke

As someone who is English, I have never seen Victorian Lemonade. Never seen it in a shop. Never seen somebody drink it.
Tesco carries it and you find in cafes and that where they want to sell the big name stuff and sell this instead
Same i had no idea what it was
it tasted like the smell of dogs
I see it all the time in the south. I also think its awesome
They should have done Irn Bru.
I really like ramune, actually. I never tried the generic one, though, only the kinds with the flavor marked on the bottle (orange, strawberry, grape, etc.).
Same here! I love marble sodas
I love it to but I've only had original and strawberry
ramune is my favorite soda, i've had almost every flavor that i have found.
The original tastes like blueberry
I just tried it. I didn't like it that much, though.
Hold alt and F4 at 0:35. Enjoy! :)
I fucking can't believe I fell for that :P
Omfg lmaoo D:

+Julylovesmusic1 Almdudler is the best.
"Do not place any body parts in to bottle"
it's like someone out was like "anything's a dildo if you're brave enough"

The last one was literally Malta, I never even considered it as a soda tho....I guess it's strong like it. Papa Lannister Ashleigh M In Australia SOLO is a lemon soft drink :)
lollie87 Yeah, i think we have (or had, i don't remember) a lemon version too, and since they have their 80th anniversary this year they have special flavors like "rhubarb and raspberry", "melon and lemon" and "passionfruit and mango".

So wait, you got a lemonade that absolutely nobody here knows about, instead of doing Irn Bru, which is probably the most recognised drink in the UK?
Iron bru is shit too ivs seen it but idk anybody who goes out of their way to drink it ever... Ribena over All. Rio is lovely yummy too. Lilt is better than bru. Bru is poo, just drink water.
Guessing you've not watched part 2 video yet then...?
Definitely Irn Bru. It tastes like nothing they'll've tried.
AGAIN, watch part 2. They had Irn Bru in part 2. Feels like I've said that already...oh wait...I have.
Yeah and I've never heard of that lemonade brand before
Looks like Buzzfeed finally learn how to not pick assholes for videos like these
Ikr? Definite improvement to actually have some interesting comments rather than "It's not murica so it's awful eww" :D
True. Usually they're all "lel this crap sucks, wtf is wrong with you guys in (insert country)??? i feel bad 4 u"
diamondstor2 When has anyone on BuzzFeed said that?
ThisIsDjYigytugd Well they obviously haven't said anything in those exact words, but in their older "Americans try / taste (Something foreign) they were almost exclusively snobs and 'Murican supremacists.
diamondstor2 So no one did say that. Ok.
Ha-too-ee 😂😂😂 i laughed so hard when they pronounced Hatuey
My friend and I were in the Japanese food section of the store, and we bought a Ramune. We spent 10-20 minutes opening it, and from then on, whenever an event comes up, we get each other one of those heavenly sodas.

It smells like bubble gum. Anybody would agree
They should of tried L & P from New Zealand :)
Yes! L&P is awesome!
Defiantly
I was just gonna comment that!
Americans apparently have a different sense of sweetness, Almdudler doesnt really taste sour to me (and I've never heard anyone say it does), here in Austria it is actually quite common to mix it with sparkling water as it is quite sweet!
"It tastes like a 14 year old was like 'I'm gonna invent a new soda'" xD
I love malt drinks yummm the goya brand is the best though. You could try jarritos made in mexico.
Nah, Malta India is the one. Goya is just to generic.
I don't like the way that one tastes. The Goya brand tastes much better to me.
Lydia Cavero
What are you? In the sense of Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican, Latino American.
Malta India is mostly sold in Puerto Rico.
I am Puerto Rican, Dominican, and Peruvian. But been born and raised in the USA. We would always buy Malta goya since I was little. What nationality are you?
I'm Taino. Puerto Rican, born and raise, Malta India is sold their the most. Goya isn't so much, its mostly sold in the states.
If they dont have ALMDUDLER, we are going home!
I remember once I got ramune and I really wanted the marble.. so I broke the bottle on my deck, got glass all over the place and in my fingers, and I lost the marble that day 😂
Taylor Duda sounds like a bad day..
Taylor Duda Sucks you loss your marbles.
😑
I once hammered the bottle on my own in the kitchen and got the marble. Only downside was that I got scolded by my parents.
I did that once
Yeay you tried something from Austria! Cool. And Almdudler is like THE national soda of Austria - I can tell.
As a German that has been to Austria a bunch of times now I can confirm that Almdudler tastes better in Austria than in Germany even though it's the same brand.
Ramune is pretty good, I like the strawberry flavored the best. It annoys me how little you get in a bottle though.

OMG Almdudler!!! The stuff of my childhood! We always drank this when we went on ski class with our school. (although they did sell it at home and recently it's popular again). I have to admit we did always mix it with EVERYTHING. If you have 30 kids in a class and you're drinking 10 different kinds of soda ... you have to mix it and maybe add some pepper and salt for extra bleurgh :p
if you are going to give them Fentimans, you should have gone with dandelion and burdock.
God yes, that stuff smells so good.
I really liked the Rose one that I got. It was yummy.
+embirlily yeah, the rose lemonade is so good! And the cherry cola
No. Curiosity Cola.
