You missed showing us how it sounds :)
The sound must be bad. With one spring and weak material on the front part with small screws it does not give a good tone. That is why it does not present the sound
Thank you, I love the bit where your daughter helped out, good on you.
Great video! Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I just got the kit and was aa bit confused, but your tutorial made the process clear.
great presentation, my kit arrived today I'm about to start the build ,thanks
Great video, thank you so much. Mine is arriving later today so wanted to be ready.
Nice video! Love the drum sound in the background music. Full and tight!
I might mention to NOT add glue to the front piece! You might need to open it up to make modifications or repairs. The screws allow you to open and close.
Nice job on the video, thank you!
Scotty Rocket I’ve never considered that. Good advice!
Thanks dude, Really helpful well put together video. nice one!
Perfectly delivered mate....
Cheers for this video. Easy to follow and build it than using the instructions.
You are my man! Thank you!
This video helped me a lot!
Nice one ! I've had one of these sitting in the box for a year cos I haven't got the clamps. I'll put it together using this vid. Thanks.
I found this alot easier to understand than the instructions!
Nice job! Your daughter is a doll. Would love to hear how it sounds! Thanks.....
Great help - thanks so much!
An excellnt video - thank you so much!
Hi - thanks for the video. It really helped me as the instructions aren't great, especially with the snare positioning. One tip I'd add is not to add the rubber feet until after youve varnished it a few times. This kind of wood is going to pick up every kind of greasy fingerprint and all kinds of dirt if you don't varnish it, or treat it in some way or other. Thanks again
Great job. Nice work.
Thanks. Great video.
Nice work...agree with comments below. A little sound test would have been a nice way to cap it off. Thanks again for your nice work!
Good job! Thanks!
great howto, well done
Great video.
Great job my friend! The only thing that I would do differently would he to use a 2,5mm drill instead of a 3mm. The screws that came in the box barely have 3mm diameter and almost half the screws I tried to snugh would just fall inside the drilled hole
Wery helpfull, thank you, take care.
VERY GOOD
Thx man! Thx a lot!
Thank you.
It does my middle aged heart good to see someone so young wearing what looks like a recently purchased Iron Maiden t-shirt. It gives one hope for the future it does.
Cheers mate! Got that top at a Maiden gig a few years back! Im far from Niko on the drums though
I envy you. Since the end of the Arena Rock era around 89 they almost never come to the States. When they do they only hit some of the bigger cities and the tickets are usually sold out before it's advertised that tickets are on sale.
Took my 17 year old to Nashville to see Maiden this summer, he love playing bass and Maiden and Rush are his favorites to play. There's plenty of hope :)
LordPadriac May I suggest you get her a Warning band shirt.

Thank me later!
Thanks, really helpful as our kit has arrived without the block for the snare and now I can see what it looks like. Your instructions are super clear too.
ill let you into a secret, i stuck the block on the wrong bit of wood and could not remove it as the glue was too strong! I literally screwed it right into one of the supports!
Very good tutorial.
kinda wanted to hear you play it lol... thanks, I was just about to get one of these as they're pretty cheap... good vid !... :)
Very helpful tutorial. Can you tell me the sandpaper grid you used?
@drum geeze Could you post the measurements for where the front screws go like you mentioned in the video?
Can u please make a video of making a slap top cajon?
awesome thanks :)
Great instructional video. Why didn't you play it so we could hear how it sounds?
This was great as the instructions with the kit are a little unclear in a couple spots! Thank you so much!
Thanks for the tutorial! 2 things I'd add are
1) 7:39 When countersinking the screw holes for the front, you can flip the screw head upside down and place it in the hole to check if the size is right
2) 7:51 I think you forgot to mention that you pre-drilled the front panel the holes into the body. I'm not sure if this is necessary but it looks like that's what you did.
thanks for the feedback :) checking the screws fit in the countersunk hole is a great tip! As for as the pre drilled holes I think these are from the first time I screwed the front panel on ( I hadn't countersunk the holes) , I then unscrewed countersunk the holes and screwed It together
Great video. Thanks. I built one recently but made a few mistakes along the way so it's not as clean as I'd like. How does it sound? Mine sounds like too much metal rattle from the snare? Maybe because the wood isn't flush? I also need to spend more time sanding. Thanks again.
Nice
Hello Chris . You think is possible to make it foldable way ?
Great job man ,but the importan fact is exact measurment of the Cajon? which you have to explain properly . Thanks and good job.
How the sound ?
How much does the kit cost and how do I order one?
I'd love to hear how it sounds.
Sounds like shit. At least mine.
@@pieroszo mine too.

What's the dimensión of the triangular piece of wood?
Measurements for screws?
Where does the kit come from... ??
I would've added a short demo to so we can hear how it sounds. 🤔
How much is it if I order it and ship it in the Philippines?
Why didn't you play it?
Can you post what type of wood you used and the dimensions? Say if I wanted to make my own without buying the kit? Thanks!!!!!! Much love ❤️
White birch I believe
Forgot the Demo of finished Product Sound.
Why you have not seen with testing and playing
Great video! Just wish you would have played it!! Lol. Nice job though
Hi, Mark!!! I need you opinion
Do you think is it correct place for strings in this cajon? I think it will be sound in bass area, not in snare.
I am buy and going to assemble same kit, but this point is questioning.
Mabe better to stick it in upper area from side?
Thank you
the instructions are not clear on this, but from most higher end cajons. The wires are nearer the top. Its sounds pretty good
@@blewettmark Thank you, Mark! My is on the way. I have one more set of strings, so i will install two pieces, like in more expencive brown version. Your manual is very useful!!!
Ahhhh! You didn’t play it?!
Can you give me a size of your cajon sir
This string name
You missed .
How does it sound 🎵🎵🎵
For twenty dollars you can buy same ones already put together
So at no time did you consider that in the end anyone might want to hear the result of this build? Strange!
Y no lo tocaste para ver k tal kedo
You should of beat out some tunage
i dont know what the f is wrong why these guys do not play after making
Here is a factory tour ruclips.net/video/iz7gYSmCZyY/видео.html
pointless
Completely ignored the proper way to secure the back. Follow the instructions not this. And every wood surface that touches another wood surface needs a generous coating of glue.
Why would you bother to do nice video like this and the end you ain't even gonna play it, so we may hear how it sounds??!😡
Thump down.
