Very good to see, particularly in view of the ups and downs they've had lately.

Where has the locomotive Norfolk Pioneer come from? I can only assume the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway although i cannot find any reference to it on their website

It was built by MrTony Martin who was the CME for the wells and walsingham railway. As far as I know it never ran any public trains at wells. Hope this helps a little.

Why were they closed for such a long time?

The owner retired and put the railway up for sale. Its now open under new ownership.

Great to see them open again, a shame you missed out on the BBQ though, perhaps we could all have a whip round and send you to your local McDonalds as a consolation! 😉🍔🍴

It certainly is good to see them running again. I was happy just to get there for a few hours. All was not lost I found a sweet the dog had half chewed stuck to the carpet in the car, :-)
