I injured my left wrist and remembered this video. I bought one of these and installed it on my lawnmower. It was a bit difficulty to install with an injured wrist, but what a difference it made. Thanks, DFJ!
I remember seeing those on old trucks that did not have power steering. Definitely a less expensive alternative to purchasing a garden tractor with power steering.
I remember these as well on some of the vehicles my family had when I was a kid. My Kubota compact tractor has one and I wouldn't be without it. Best, DFJ
@@DirtFarmerJay yep- I remember our camping friends had a clear emerald green one and we thought it was the coolest thing ever! Have a good Christmas dirt farmer! And thanks for the good memory👍🎄!
They are great, my dad used to use them on his farm tractors back in the 60s and 70s and he also put one on our riding lawn mower back then and I used it from mower to mower until I got a zero turn and don't need it. It was common back then and was mad of wood back then but the same thing. I think they made them illegal to use in cars at some point if I remember correctly since you could break a wrist with the one in the car and how that operated. Might be wrong on that but seems like I remember something like that but great on tractors. Thumbs up!!
Give it a try. You've provided yet another name for these devices. Other names include "suicide knob", "spinner knob", and "brodie knob." Love it! Best, DFJ
No, it's too small. I've found auto steering wheel covers at places like AutoZone and O'Reilly Auto Parts, as well as Walmart's auto section. Thanks for writing! Best, DFJ
I don't have this particular brand. But, this is something everyone should have on their mowers. I can't believe more people don't use them.

Great video review! I subbed.
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks for showing the installation.
Good evening from Southeast South Dakota. We call them wrists breakers
Love it!

Yes, indeed. We really like this accessory. Best, DFJ
We used to use those on our trips down south...when they were LEGAL! 😅,- they're still one of the best ideas ever thought up!

I'm gonna go buy this knob as per your review and if it don't fit or falls apart while installing it on my JD mower, you're gonna hear from me!
Fair enough! Just was using our yard tractor with this knob less then an hour ago. Still going strong...

I agree they were also called suicide knobs when on a car
Thanks for writing and telling us of your experiences, and for your kind words as well. Best, DFJ
CLP King Pin Quick-Connect Hitch Pin works well also from company . I enjoy your videos
Had an eight ball spinner on my old 61 ford truck 👍
Love it!
Updated Necker Knob, I may need to run down to pick one up!

That would definitely make turning much easier.
I think so too!
@@DirtFarmerJay Happy holidays Jay to you and yours 🎉
What will be produced next for a lawnmower, fox tails, dual antennae, wheel skirts, spot lights, fuzzy dice, lake pipes?
I've seen some pretty tricked out lawn equipment, so I wouldn't be surprised! Best, DFJ
Suicide knobs were made illegal in some states on automobiles.
Thanks for letting us all know. Best, DFJ
Does this one Fit on Car Steering wheels?? 🤔

Always knew them as knecker knobs. You could keep one hand on the wheel and an arm around your sweetheart.
Good one!
We called them suicide knobs back in the sixties
Illegal In all states on C D L vehicles I think
Indeed, but this one is for lawn tractors/yard equipment. So, no problem. Best, DFJ
