Jup, even though I got 16 clones as well being 1 size bigger. But believe smallest gives best chance somehow, in my eyes when those turning things smack your small clones they really get taken and killed (since they have little to resist). If you're one size bigger the clone is a little tougher, perhaps being able to withstand (in certain degree) such smack, and letting it get fired away more easy. Just a theory. Oh btw, smallest size sometimes does give a problem at the last single accelerator (the one at 1:29). Since you're so small and go that fast you sometimes miss a time-slower or speed down powerup, which will make the end noticeably harder. That's why I'm trying to take more clones to that part (even though it doesn't really work out that great ;P ) from the stuck superclone before. If you do that watch out that you don't take the size-up though!
Still don't understand what technique should be with these rotating shovels after the cab carrying clones in the final part. 17 clones are represented something unattainable, like a star in the sky
