@mahtabali4256 The Canadians descended from the Western Europeans involved in Confederation but with allowances for reconciliation with indigenous populations. Just the same as what is meant by "our" in appealing to the history and traditions of any sovereign nation. It's been only 10 or 20 years since poorly managed immigration has lead to the profound subversion of our treasured heritage.

Western European traditions are not defined by historical mistakes; there is not a nation or culture in the world that has not historically wronged others, but that's NOT reason to ignore the contributions and traditions of those peoples. What is the likelihood that Western Europeans or traditional Canadians would be allowed - today - to immigrate into middle-eastern or far eastern nations and remove their traditional religious and cultural practices? We ourselves would consider that colonialism... well, those nations are now colonizing us, and we now see it and will now resist it. There will not be sharia law in Canada. We are a commonwealth nation, and King Charles is our head of state. Immigrants are expected to accept and respect that.
@mahtabali4256 It certainly does, although I didn't say "white." They don't have to be white, just culturally traditional in alignment with traditional Canadian beliefs and practices. I referred to public culture, not colour or private beliefs (although respect for Canadian traditions must be among those beliefs). Your inflammatory race language is part of your strategy, which is why we must constantly detangle the truth from these kinds of political ploys.
Canada is a commonwealth nation, and King Charles is our head of state. When you become a Canadian citizen, you are required to pledge allegiance to King Charles, our head of state and head of one of the largest Christian religions in the world. Our Western European traditions have been entrenched in our culture from the start, and immigrants have traditionally been expected to respect and accept them. Trudeau and his ilk would never expect Canadians or Western Europeans to be able - today, not historically - to go to middle and far eastern cultures and erase their right to have public institutions reflect traditional values and beliefs. But that is what has happened here. All cultures have wronged others historically, but that doesn't entitle you to colonize us. We now see it and will resist it.

I grew up in Canada - went to Uwo and that’s where I made many Muslim friends - most of them are preoccupied with being good people and getting good marks - some of them need to go to jail and do not represent Canadian values - I even have some of them on tape (this was the 2000’s) they were burning the Canadian flag in the campus - also there are tapes that were made by other Muslims these guys were watching - the message on those tapes were not peaceful - I am not a troll - I am not a liar - I can call them by their names because I have the year books - those tapes were calling for awful destructive things - not cool - I saw it with my own eyes
I was a bit bothered to see that some of these people were enrolled in the U and they were not attending the courses - they were there just to be able to protest - and follow the messages on those tapes made in another country that does not have our best interest - the message on those tapes was awful and calling for the destruction of this and that - very counter-productive and very un-Canadian - these tapes should be illegal in Canada - if the rcmp want those tapes and my yearbooks I will gladly comply - I love Canada - it educated
