Yo dude watched the video of you playing a top down rogue like on the pc where you were wukong or something with yin and Yang moves. It was really cool. Love all your dead cells vids, still stuck on bc3 but your vids help me out a lot. Thanks man always enjoy watching
Just to really dive into the decision making, here is perhaps an obnoxious amount of questions for clarity:
1:10 - the comb had higher stat values, what made you change to the "clearly good" Panchaku?
1:19 - What made you choose Brutality on your first scroll and then Tactics for your second scroll? Gives me inefficiency anxiety.
4:50 - What factors determine when you should reset your mutations?
11:34 - When does a "bank" option become "good" vs "not as good"?

some of this is a result of my editing
1) There is an elite during the comb segment that got cut. Comb can't crit the elite, but panchaku would. So in this case and any time comb can only do its normal hits (~150 per hit at this stage), panchaku can likely crit (~180 per hit at this stage)
2) I did really mean "I need to play this weapon to get a feel for it" as my reasoning to take comb 😅 for scroll use, the edit cut away without showing it scroll back to brutality.
3) The reset was specifically for this Ferryman's latern. With stun on hit, Melee mutation was unnecessary. Predator helps prevent hits of this slow weapon, and Ammo mutation(taken later) is a much bigger potential damage on Soul Shot.
4) The earliest banks are the most difficult as I may not have an actual build/mutations yet or it is super scaled monster difficulty from Corrupted/Prison Depths. Those 2 moments are when I consider skipping. Otherwise, if I have a build that can clear the curse in bank without struggling, I will do it.
This only happened because you have 35 brutality
About boss and invincibility, it will take a split second to trigger the phase change animation and if your hits are landed in very quick succession, it's possible to get Conjunc with a fully charged soul shot, just tried it out after watching your video. Not just soul shots, but even some quicker weapons and DoT effects can also damage Conjunc before invincibility kicks in.
comb is actually a good weapon, btw.
the crit damage, is above 350, which is high comparing to a lot of brutality weapons. its crit con is a little weird tho so i get that it may not be the best for damage.
but its surely a good weapon, it has very good range, breach, and launching enemies upwards can be very strong as well because the variety of enemies cant do anything when they are in the air (basically just vetrical combat being strong)
about laser glaive with pierce: normally, laser glaive bounces about 4 or 5 times iirc. the pierce all affix, basically makes it bounce indefinitely (or at least it bounces more than its supposed to be bouncing without the affix.)

It maybe looks like with glaive the shot doesn’t bounce off of every enemy it touches. It will pierce through some on its way to targeting another one? Idk if it normally does that

Does the cat from the castlevania dlc work with the tactics mutation which increases our dmg when we are near a deployed skill?
Will it work when we recall the cat back to us ?(The time where the cat now stays on our shoulder)
No, it only works with the items listed as a "deployable trap" in the custom mode menu.
