Gio Gio oh awesome! Which Ryukukoku Matsuri Daiko do you perform with? I have been lucky to see you folks perform in Fukushima Japan, Kauai Hawaii and all over here on Oahu! WOW! DA MOCHI Looks Delicious! where do i get some...never seen strawberry mochi~ btw how do you know so many people lol Great performanceand Hard work!!! Mahalo.
E9ONE1lol I just have gotten to know a lot of people over time. The best strawberry mochi is from the Two Ladies Kitchen in Hilo on the Big Island. I've gotten it in Japan too but not as good. As far as getting it on Oahu, can't think of anywhere. I think because you have keep it cold because of the fresh strawberry that it's too much hassle for most places to make. These a mochi lady at the Kakaako farmers market and she has good mochi but, I don't think she has strawberry mochi. I'll let you know if I see it anywhere. Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend! Riley Mishina if you go to the bon dances and Okinawan Festival you will see people selling them. Not all of them sell them but, usually the ones with more Okinawan influence like Jikoen Hongwanji, Okinawan Festival, and Autumn Matsuri. Sometimes it's the booth with the bon dance towels but, they also have crafters who make things and sell them at the bon dance. Hope that helps you. Thank you for watching! Aloha =)
