Hmmm my sister life is like that oooo, trust me its vise versa You remember you have a bag in Nigeria called Ghana must go , imagine how that reminds Ghanaian that they were one's sacked from Nigeria. And this is even publicly and openly depicted in your movies and all over, To the extent that it's on the lips of most Nigerians with the Ghana of yesterday phrases. My sister as humans as we are, we all turn to have some bad behaviours base on our experiences and sometimes what we have heard which is not the best but humans are humans. Don't let these things get to you please, just continue with the good work The good lord will see you through ...more love 🇳🇬 🇬🇭
I think it’s normal in every country, in Japan here some Japanese house owners don’t rent to foreigners especially Africans.. in my father’s house in Ghana we have 2 bedroom apartment which was rented to an Igbo tenant” his wife and 2 kids” but later they became 7 in that apartment, when their contract expired and my father said he is not gonna renewed and gave them free six months to move, it took the Ghana police for them to move from my fathers house but I have never used that to judge any Nigerian and in fact they r my closest friends here in Japan. I have always said Yorubas are the most coolest people ever, it’s just the tribe giving Nigeria a bad name, I don’t know why people are generalizing it.
@@TheJumzTV yeah I will be honest with you, here in Japan, America has a military bases because Japan is part of the military alliance called Nato, in the bases they have shops where you can enter and buy American stuff that are not in Japan or expensive in Japan but Nigerian passport holders are not allowed to enter, I have an American female friend so if my friends from Nigeria need something I will tell her so she will invite me in to buy for them, you can’t enter without a passport, that’s how they get to know your nationality. But like I said I have never had any bad experiences with any Yoruba because I already have Yoruba friends that were born in Ghana, honestly it’s mostly Igbo people giving Nigeria a bad name, even with Igbo I wouldn’t generalize because I know few of them that were born in Lagos that behave differently..you shouldn’t be having difficulties in Ghana because there is a large number of Ghanaian Yorubas too, we are one people.
Jumz, thanks for this video. BTW I live in the US and love watching your vlogs because of your confidence in articulating your thoughts on issues. You also remind me of my long lost friend Sade from Sagamu. I lived in Nigeria years ago. I am a Ghanaian who embraces Nigeria as his second home because of the kindness of a Nigerian family that I met when I studied at Babcock University some 30 years ago. I can't forget the kindness of this family and that of Sade. There are ignorant people all over the world. While times have changed and many people in our global community continue to be "neither here nor there", live in the "third space of translation" and continue to experience "cultural hybridity" because of crossborder locations and "dislocations" imposed by globalization, there are others who cannot and will not see the wind of change that continue to blow. Overnight, many Ukrainians have become strangers in other lands. It was the case with many Yugoslavians, Somalians, Syrians, Afghans, Iraqis, Rwandese, Congolese, Liberians, Sierra Leoneans, South Africans, Zimbabweans, and Ghanaians, and the list goes on and on. Nonetheless, there are many people that continue to enjoy being trapped in their ignorant mindset. They are xenophobic and use one big brushstroke to paint a whole nation...too bad in this day and age. I hold multiple citizenship and still come across people in different locales asking me "where I come from". I get upset when anyone exercises the nerve to probe into "where I come from" because it is a coded question meant to "size me up" and remind me that "I don't belong here". Anyone who understands this coded question may not appreciate being asked where "you come from" . So Ghanaians who are found of asking those "nasty" questions when they come across a stranger (apart from those doing so for curiosity) should put a "suck in it". Jumz, find a way to diffuse that probing question because you belong and have the legal right to stay in Ghana. It is nobody's business to ask you to produce those documents if they are not an immigration officer. And for all those landlords and landladies who refuse to give you a house because of your nationality, there will be one who will give you a chance. When we get discriminated against here, we get so frustrated. Why do we also want to do the same to our own people because of some bad fruits? All humans are broken because of sin. We all have our "skunk" so let's stop judging other people until we have experienced them. Let us see every human being as innately good until the person proves otherwise. One Nigerian, does not and cannot represent all Nigerians the same way one Black person's misdeeds cannot be extrapolated to all Blacks in my neighborhood here. It is unfair to do so. Jumz, keep educating us and keep up with your good work and God bless you.
Oh Obed really? I can understand your love for Jumz, and trust me I feel the same way. In fact I would even do one better if her stay was in jeopardy and incorporate her specifically into my family. But to say her woes are due to ignorance, is misguided. Did you not see just a few days ago, the entire country of Nigeria gathered in one stadium, screaming proudly altogether as a group Ghana must Go? Do you know how many of my family members were killed during that incidence? Thousands my friend. So if the world has come this far what should we make of that? How about Ng Must Stay? please I want to know your opinion.
@@zionlee3644 if you cannot understand my love for Jumz, why do you feel the same way? The world has come far but we still have Russia bombing Ukraine. Yes, some Nigerians did the despicable by invading the stadium but you cannot use that incidence to paint all Nigerians as bad. Nigerians are over 180 Million. These stereotypes are what many blacks continue to wrestle with in white spaces. Just yesterday, a Black man in his 60s took a gun and shot at people on a train in New York. How would you feel if the people in New York use that incidence to paint all Black males as bad (assuming you are Black)? What if somebody who's family member was shot gets angry because of this incidence and kills your family member she or he comes in contact with (assuming your family member is a Black male)? This is the kind of treatment that was meted to Muslims days and years after 9/11 in the United States, Canada, and other western societies. Yes, individuals who misbehave or break the law must endure some punishment. But to extrapolate somebody's misdeeds to other people who come from the person's country or look like the person is false association and ignorant at best. Remember Marthin Luther King's statement that "Injustice everywhere is a threat to Justice everywhere". I have come across wonderful Ghanaians, Nigerians, Whites, Kenyans, Ugandans...etc. I have also come across some shady people from the same countries and groups. Countries do not necessarily produce bad people. It is individual humans that choose to act good or bad. I will reiterate that it is not "fair" for anyone to use her or his bad experience with someone to make a whole assessment of that person's social group, tribal or ethnic affiliations, countries of origin, or religion, etc. It is even more dangerous when such ignorant people are in positions of power. Hitler did it and we know the outcome. I do not want to mention other nations, but these false associations have led to animosities about the "other" and persecutions and genocides. We find this in Biblical times also in the book of Esther. You can give myriad excuses but it only amounts to demonizing innocent people. We should do unto others what we would like others to do to us. I would also want to quote Brian Stevenson here that "even at our worst, every human being has some innate goodness in us".

I don't think some of these comment are made primarily by Ghanaians. These accommodation issue, even Nigerians in Italy are facing the same thing. Don't think too much into these as majority of Ghanaians are nice. We love you!!!!
@Samuel Kyei , the 3 questions or so I focused on in the video, were asked by Ghanaians, at least I could tell from the names. You see how ‘controversial’ this video seems to be, I’d urge you to read through the comments and you will most likely see what I’m talking about. Thank you for loving me o. One of my loyal Ghanaian brethren.
In as much that not all Nigerians are bad we should also bear in mind that we represent our country, culture, tribe etc .Hence we have to Do the right thing so we don’t put others in bad situations
You are absolutely correct. That’s something not many people consider but then again, you can’t be in control of how people behave. You can only be in control of how you behave, which should speak well of you.
Generalization in that sense is bad but that's how Ghanaians protect themselves and their society. No matter how much we want to foster solidarity between Nigeria and Ghana, we must state clearly that Ghanaians and Nigerians are very different in behavior and worldview. That explains why the atmosphere in the two countries are different. Stereotyping is bad but it is necessary sometimes for the people to guard against certain things based on their experience. Ghanaians haven't had much of a good experience generally with Nigerians living in Ghana. That may sound horrible but that is a fact. I personally have Nigerian friends. In fact some of my most trusted friends who have been with me through thick and thin were Nigerian so you cannot tell me I hate Nigerians. I'm just speaking on behalf of the Ghanaians in Ghana who don't think like me. Try and put yourself in their shoe. It is wrong to draw comparison with renting to a white person or westerner. I think you have to understand that everywhere on this earth is like that. If a group of people are known for certain things, people would expect that sort of thing. Most people wouldn't want to take risk and "try you and see". What if they "try and and see" and you prove them right? try to understand them instead of playing a victim. After all, Ghana is not the only place that people locals distrust Nigerians
We are sorry JumzTV. We know how you feel. I think the message will contribute to make things better in Ghana. But sometimes, hmm, what some Nigerians will do to you as a brother from another country eh!. Hmm!. We will bridge the gap don't worry. Great video.
Jumz do not be surprised about the rent issue . Remember that Ghana is an independent country as well as Nigeria . Each country has it's own laws and regulations . I live in The US and it is not easy to get apartment to rent if you are not legal to live here . You even need to prove that you are legal to live here and working before you can get an apartment . It does not matter if you are a citizen or not .
That's different she's a legal occupant ... Americans give the Chinese so many stuff house even Europeans and not discriminate What she's saying is because she's specifically a Nigerian she was done bad
Now that you have seen that we generalize, it has even become more important to behave very very well and advocate that your brothers and sisters also do same because when they go about harming and hurting people, we will generalize and every Nigerian will suffer for the sins of few.
Even you advocating that they behave properly, if they don't listen to you, what makes you think they would listen to her simply because they are from the same country as her? Rather than generalising, I think the best thing would be for either Ghana or Nigeria to leave Ecowas and make it difficult to get visas to enter Ghana. For me, I think that would solve the issues.
Ghanaians landlords have good heart sis . It’s just your own people 🇳🇬 spoiling the country name . That’s why they don’t want to give house to Nigerians
We are not in English Language class, but I want to state this, if you say "Ghanaians" or "Nigerians" are this or that, Grammatically you are correct. It doesn't mean you have generalized. Two persons from Ghana are Ghanaians. Same from Nigeria are Nigerians. So if you say Ghanaians or Nigerians, so far as the action was done by two or more citizens of Ghana or Nigeri, you can say ghanaians or nigerians and that does not mean you have generalized, not at all. If I properly want to generalize, I will use expressions such as; " Generally speaking, Ghanaians don't like this, or, "Generally, Ghanaians don't like this." In that sense, you have generalized but merely saying "Ghanaians dont like this" is not generalization since two or more persons are involved in the action. About the Ghana Card, I think both the NIA and the NCA have not done well in terms making sure the education trickles down to the people. A lot of people are not aware that foreigners can have that card. Foreigners can have it too. The only difference is that the one that is issued to the foreigners is called None-Citizen Ghana Card, if am correct. It has the same colour and almost the same features.
Blame your country people for that treatment, your fellow Nigerian have messed up things for other Africans in Italy here ,even some of my Nigerian friends don't want have anything to do with Nigerians
It’s a really sad situation. However, let me ask you; because one or two people from a certain tribe did bad to you, does it mean that EVERYONE from that tribe will be the same? I think this is where giving people a chance and benefit of doubt comes in.

I'm glad that you recognise that the behavior of the fans is unacceptable. My question is that if the fans had behaved lawfully and left without any violent incident, would you say that "all Nigerians" behave like that or would you recognise that not all Nigerians are well behaved? Not everyone has the time or inclination to determine if you're "good or bad". People have to take responsibility for their actions and if they "mess up" it may have consequences. The bible says reputation is more important than silver - there's a reason for that.
So how does the behaviour of certain fans in a particular place become reason to stereotype an entire nation? Are you saying Ghanian fans have never ever rioted in stadiums? and how many times do you hear of such incidents amongst Nigerian fans?

A country of more than 160 million people should not be put in a box. You have met only bad Nigerians, but there are a lot who have met only good Nigerians. Left to me, I don't see myself going to countries like Ghana or South Africa because of this seeming mindset amongst the majority of the people(as it seems) in how they can quickly box a nation into one group, and if I had the powers I would stop all Nigerians from going to those countries. We've been trying Nigerians way back with our properties and they end up beating and threatening the landlords. Ya'll stop blaming this landlords cause the last time our girls were kidnapped and a lot of bs. We've endured alot of bad behaviours of some Nigerians living in Ghana and trust most landlords have had enough hence they tend to generalise all Nigerians looking for accommodation.
Let me ask you (be mindful that this isn’t an argument, I just want to know how exactly you view things), if you were a Russian, and everywhere you go, people view you as a ‘bad’ person when infact, you fought against what’s happening now. How would you feel and function in a country where you are not exactly accepted because of what your leaders and some people did (in the case of Russia)?
@@TheJumzTV (not an argument) Well I will feel bad about it but also will respect and understands the people cause base on their interactions and experiences with some Russians hence that treatment. I cannot blame them for having that kinda of perception cause some Russians amount to all Russians base on how people wants to individually treats them. Here in Ghana and like elsewhere the issue is the landlords don't know ( some Nigerians) but knows Nigerians although we all aware not all Nigerians commits crime but they choose to stereotype base on their experiences with some Nigerians hence there is no benefits of trust anymore . This applies to some Ghanaians and humanity in general.

Jumz. I have had horrible experiences with my Nigerian tenants. 3 different tenants . I never have problems with any other tenants from other countries and Ghanaians. Now I will never ever want rent out any of my property to a Nigerian. I know not all of them are bad, but how would I know who is good. Please note that, not long ago Ghanaians were accusing landlords of renting apartments to Nigerians because they pay more. Now if landlords refuse to rent to Nigerians then note that it has something to do with their attitude. It is sad though. Nigerians are always on defensive trying to defend and explaining themselves but no-one seems to ask why. Go to Italy or my country Germany, no one is willing to rent out to Nigerians.
Sorry about your experiences with my countrymen, but then again those of us defending and explaining ourselves are mostly people who are trying to ‘convince’ you that we are different. Dear Jumzz. I like all the things that you said. Ghanaians shouldn't think all nigerians are bad. Not all nigerians are bad. I have come across some, who are good and well behaved. So Ghanaians should stop discriminating against nigerians.
Nigerian generally don't have good reputation though. I have had experience with bad women from Nigeria: refusing to pay me for job done for them. Is not the same encounter with Zimbabwe Kenya Uganda Ivorians folks I have experienced with..most Nigerians are great people. Not all are bad people. But Nigerians should represent themselves and the country well anywhere they relocate to..

Nigerians occupying US governmental position and in US military is not enough image projected abi? Oga, go and sit down with your image. It doesn't stop Nigerians from excelling.
Also interesting to me is the weight with which we all enforce these borders that were drawn by colonialists. What are the true nations of Africa? Akan, Ewe, Wolof, Yoruba, Igbo etc. or Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal Cote D'Ivoire etc. Imagine what would happen with United States of Africa.
Jumz I'm A Sierra Leonean who has lived in London and now live in the US and xenophobia is common in every country in the world. So is general ignorance about foreigners wherever you go. I wonder, do Nigerians not behave similarly to Ghanaians in Nigeria? I'm sure you'll find that happens in Nigeria too. As sister West African Countries, there should be some closeness but I'm sure the same thing you are experiencing happens there too and by bit mentioning that in your video you kind of seem to be missing that point. It would be interesting to see if the same thing happens in Nigeria. In the West, they have laws that protect renters from that kind of discrimination but it can be a struggle to prove discrimination if you are foreign born....even if you have become a citizen of that country, your accent often betrays you. What I'm trying to say is that although the thing you are describing isn't good or fair or right, it is common ALL over the world!! That's the way we humans are unfortunately.
So Ghanaians are suppose to learn about Nigerians when you are in our country? So we should prepare ourselves and be well educated on the influx of Nigerians coming in? I don't understand? You are the visitor don't forget that and by being a visitor you can't expect the locals to know everything about you. I don't expect a Nigerian in Nigeria to think every Ghanaian is akan
I hope you have not been a victim to your own Nigerian before and to how long can one be always be a victim ?. The only thing you can do is to prevent yourself. If i am to tell you what happened to me in Nigeria , then you will be shocked but I personally think we must find a way to solve it.
Hmmm Jumz I feel ur pain abt this landlord issue. But do u blame us? Ur predicessors hvnt left a very good record behind. Its sad cos Ghanaians hv to get over it at a point in time. I like that guy because he is smart and has studied the market and sees many Nigerians RUclipsrs discuss the same topic about Ghana, which is banal and not creative, so he chooses be more creative by drawing the attention of Nigerians in Ghana to the need for them to be law-abiding citizens. I appreciate that Nigerian RUclipsr, may he live long and prosper in Ghana. I must admit that there are many Nigerians in Ghana who are law-abiding and distinguishing themselves very well. Your title should be Untold struggles of being a Nigerian in the world. Every country’s citizens are running away from Nigerians. You should know how bad it is. A lot of Nigerians can’t rent in Europe for the same foolishness. It’s not fair to isolate Ghana. Tell your people to change their ways.
I really appreciate and understand what you are trying to convey. This vlog seems a little muddle because it describes your "anger" ambivalence and apprciation at/about Ghanaians being a Nigerian resident. First, what you describing about Ghanaians knowing and asking about in detail about your backgroud is universal about any host country (you as belonging to a particular ethnic group not known to Ghanaians). Here in the US, as a Ghanaian and an Akan, most Ameicans don't know which country I am from let alone my ethnic group. Most think I am Nigerian, SA, Kenyan or Ghanaian. I don't take any offense. As a foreigner, you should not expect most educated Ghanaians to know or assume that you are are from one of the over 100 ethnic groups of Nigeria let alone a person on the street when they only know the 3 major ethnic groups. They have too much on their mind worry about the specificities of Nigerian ethnic groups. Just educate them instead of voicing about their injurious minds. Second, I agree with you that landlords and others should not stereotype Nigerians. But on the hand some have really been burnt by their past experience. As enterpreneurs they believe minizing their risks. It is sad and unfortunate but perception is a very strong force. This is not only happening in Ghana but even in other places like Italy. I don't condone it but it a sad reality. I think the perception is the result of Nigerians being the largest population group in host countries so may tend to have more people doing things that are uncalled for.
Oo madam! Why do you want a property owner give a property to you when probably she has given it to several Nigerians and they have disappointed her. Would you do that. There is a proverb that you don't need light to see in darkness the face of someone you are familiar with
Yorubas are the largest ethnic group of Nigerians in Ghana followed by Igbos so it's not out of place for people to ask if a Nigerian is from either of the two tribes.
No is Hausa community from the northern Nigeria who are the biggest Nigerian origin community. But they have lived in Ghana for so long possibly hundred years and have assimilated into the Ghanaian culture they are seen no more as Nigerian and don't consider themselves as Nigerians but just HAUSA but their roots is from northern Nigeria
@@africanayasmin6210 I deliberatively did not talk about the Hausa because Hausas today are Ghanaians who have been assimilated into the Ghanaian society. Virtually all of the Hausa has no connection again with their roots in Nigeria while Yorubas who came after the Hausas and the Igbos who started coming not too long are Nigerians and are in touch with their roots in Nigeria.
@@amosadewuni460 yes you are right the new arrivals into Ghana are mostly Igbos. You are all welcome into ghana. I lived in predominantly Hausa community in Kumasi so I know Hausa and they have impacted Kumasi culture with their food from waakye, chinkafa, Hausa Koko, masa, koose,
@@africanayasmin6210 the food you listed are not just Hausa foods, but rather sahelian foods... waakye is the Hausa name for beans, however there nothing like the “Ghanaian waakye” in Kano, sokoto, and kaduna. I have stayed in mostly the northern territories of Nigeria for almost a decade, and I haven’t see our Ghanaian waakye with shitor in northern Nigeria ... yasmin, the zongos are like “miniature United States of America” where different ethnic groups from the sahelian region have cultural melting pot. Currently, the original Hausas are not the majority tribe in our zongos, in fact the kotokoli, Mossi, zambarama, chamba, and dagombas are the major tribes in our zongos, but most Ghanaian thought they are Hausas because they all speak Hausa language... so the food you listed are all staples in northern Ghana as well, because the territory of northern Ghana is also a sahelian region, and it has sahelian culture as well. So food like tuo zaafi is a staple food in Burkina Faso, northern Nigeria and northern Ghana, kooko is also a beverage in all the sahelian region.. madam, if you want the best masa, go to bolgatanga, the frafra people call it “maha” ... so those foods listed are also indigenous to Ghana as well, and has it root from northern Ghana... most of the ameriya’s who sell waakye are either kotokoli or dagomba, none is an original Hausa by ethnicity.
Look all it is that, some people do not have broad civil education about other countries other than their vicinity. We who live abroad..Hmm you will be shock to hear how people asks us if Egypt is the capital of Africa.
Ma'am they have had that resentment towards Nigerians since they just needed a way to get it out and those Nigerians acting out made them see an opening to say something
Even one U.S. vice presidential candidate (Sarah Palin) did not know that South Africa is a country by itself (an independent from the rest of southern africa). So I am not surprise some Africans (abibi fo) have no idea about different ethnicities in our several countries.
i feel your pain but you shoud not take some petty things serious.....ln everywhere in the world even in America and Germany you will get some weird people who will question why you are in their country.....Concerning the renting issues ,It might be bad experience majority of ghanaian landlords has gone through......But of course there are alot of good nigerians out there.....
Nigerians also generalise alot of stuff with Ghanaians , ya'll try using Ghana as a scapegoat too much as if it's only Ghanaians who tryna generalise everything. For the fact that most Nigerians living in Ghana are kidnapping, indulging in prostitution and scamming , Ghanaians will always be on alert stop the blame game. Its vice versa and like that everywhere. It's not even funny anymore cause Ghanaians don't hike prices for foreigners alone , even we Ghanaians go through same process with our own people.
Thank you my brother. Why do we always have to turn the other cheek for more slaps. RIght now as we speak Nigerians are happily singing as a group Ghana must go. Go where? We're already gone but now you're here telling us again what to do on our soil. Please................ gimme a break!!
Im new to your channel. I hear you. Its true you shouldnt judge everyone the same way. Some nigerians have a very bad character when living with other blacks especially other blacks that are not Nigerian. Its a fact and something ive noticed personally. Its very bad. And i said Some Nigerians. And its funny how tables have turned between Nigerians and Ghanians. Lol. Still today in Nigeria on the walls they have " Ghana must go" very Rude. But i think the history between you guys they still have it at the back of their minds. And maybe not everyone. But most. There's a saying : " What you show the public is what they would except"
Oh thank you for subscribing and joining the family, you’re welcome. What you’ve said is true, some of my people need to act better because at the end of the day, they aren’t helping the image of the country.
Madam, Ghana is renowned for her hospitality. Infact that is one of our trademark because we know the importance of it. Also it is embedded deep in our culture. A Ghanaian will be hospitable at the expense of their own comfort. But what we don't accept is you coming in and take advantage of our hospitality to cause trouble which Nigerians are notorious for. Please help by talking to your brothers and sisters to behave well. In fact we LOVE them so much. I do love Nigerians so much but I don't like how they behave.
Yeah as a Nigerian, I also think Nigerians should stop their influx into Ghana. I would be glad if either Nigeria or Ghana leaves ECOWAS to make visas to Ghana from Nigeria more stringent.
Go home , don't tell Ghanaians how to act . One bad nut destroys the full mouth. Shut up and allow Ghanaians to live their lives . We don't accept recommendations from Nigerians . Leave now as your wet skin is getting dry . Stop your Yoruba nonsense

Very valid point. In fact some bloggers are already doing that and making a real impact in both societies. Because people generally want to be lovers not haters.
English fans do this all the time. Would Germans stereotype every English person they see in their country because of the violence they face in England when they go play the UEFA Champions League sometimes?
Good education on the Ghana Card.Ignorance on both side. I've heard some Nigerians say: small country like Ghana and one state in Nigeria is Bigger than Ghana. The fact is Nigeria is only 3.9× bigger than Ghana, there is also no state in Nigeria that is bigger than Ghana and even Some of the Regions in Ghana are far bigger than a lots of the State in Nigeria .Some Ghanaians also say some very ridicules things about Nigerian. It all boils down to lack infornation. When i hear such things i perceive the person to be ignorant.
You're an exceptionally my sister unfortunately it happened to you... anyway am yuruba Ghanaian among Ga-dangbmes tribe and never been to Nigeria before lol
@Jah Miah , you shall be fined for being a ‘Yoruba’ man/woman and not being able to spell your tribe correctly. ✍️ We will soon invite you to face the panel 😂. Really, you should visit Nigeria someday and maybe trace your roots over there. Yeah, thank you for your encouragements.

Kinda funny but I've haven't seen too many Ngs take responsibility about their woes, except for Mr Manager. My dear, I’m surprised you don’t know why Ghanaian landlords and Landladies are reluctant to offer their houses to Nigerians. Bad experience that borders on criminalities. Yahoo yahoo boys readily comes to mind. Until many Nigerians started migrating to Ghana, armed robbery and highway attacks were aliens to Ghanaians. Check the identities of many of the culprits, and they would be people of Nigerian descent. So as we say in Ghana ‘shine your eyes’. I have a lot of Nigerian friends and one of traits I find in many of them is ‘the end justifies the means’ ‘Make it by all means’. That’s is Nigerian slogan.
You see there's a certain kind of arrogance that is really sickening and not beneficial. I think people need to start taking some responsibilities and grow from there.
Firstly, I, highly, admire your channel; it's very informative and entertaining, as usual, and I tune-in in my free time. Now, if I may ask, I must admit, I'm, indeed, curious. I see a ring on your finger, so it would be correct for one to assume you're married, right? I digress. I think no one should be judged until they've given reason to be judged, even then(once they've given reason to be judged) one should save judgement for their faith/their god, for no one is without sin/vices, and you may one day need the help of that person(the person you've judged/speculated against, without valid proof of their, "TRUE", character). Lastly, I'm from America, and I continuously get told that Africa isn't for me, because I'm either too light skinned, so I'll stand out too much; my accent is to American, so I'll get scammed a lot, or it's too dangerous there(Africa in general), due to it not being as modern as America or other places in the world, yet I've never been there(to Africa), myself, so it wouldn't be fair/right for me to judge Africa on the basis of the speculations of people(here in America/the west) who don't, really, know Africa/they've never been to Africa. In conclusion, from my perspective, Africans(from Ghana/Nigeria), themselves, shouldn't judge each other based on speculations alone(without, actual, proof), because if you can judge each other(neighboring Africans/countries) on, mere, speculations, you shouldn't feel wronged when others(from America/the west) judge you(Africa/Africans) on, just, speculations as well. PS. I look forward to visiting Ghana "soon". *Peace & Love unto all*
Excuses will not cut it. Nigerians should learn to respect other countries laws when living there Good Nigerians don't have any problems living in Ghana. It's rather unfortunate about the negative stereotypes but for landlords rejecting Nigerians it because of bad previous tenants from Naija.
I get you totally, lol, I know my people and what they are capable of. However, you said ‘excuses’ and you have done the exact thing I spoke against in the video 😢which is generalising. So, let me ask; because my people haven’t behaved well over the years, does it mean I can’t defend myself or speak of the issues I face? 🤔
@@TheJumzTV come on ma dear did I not apologize for the negative stereotypes but to be frank try travelling to Southern part of Africa & come & tell us the reception you'd receive when you pull out your ECOWAS passport. Does she know them and are they from are family? If they don't listen to you, why do you think they would listen to her simply because she is a Nigerian? You already have a plethora of Nigerian female RUclipsrs doing that and they pull down Nigeria all the time, do the Criminals or the landlords in Ghana change their stances simply because of those RUclipsrs who are already doing that? So why do you want her to follow that route? I think the best solution would be for either Nigeria or Ghana to leave ECOWAS and Ghana make their visa difficult to Nigerians, that way we know that Ghana is tired of Nigerians and you all don't want us. Because personally, except for people like Jumz who have families there, I feel Nigerians should stop going to Ghana with this kind of mindset you all are having, if what I read from this comments is how the general public feel. But we don't have the right to tell people where to go or what to do most times.
Yes, any a reasonable person should pass comment that are evidence- base. Personally, to an exten,t I agree with you and by extension with some other concerned Nigerians. The crust of the argument, which Nigerians almost tend to miss is the issue is the HEART OF THE NIGERIAN , which is CHARACTER. Now when a school clock 80% at examination, the bragging will be the school performs well, forgetting the 20%. The case with the bad image of Nigeria is a trend that persistently notoriously and sadly continues every now and then. Let look at another example why there's not much talks about other nationals within the subregion like Sierra Leon, Liberia or Bukina Faso? Just look at the death of the gospel singer murdered by a husband of Christian caliber. So my dear sister, the search light as to how the soiled image of Nigeriz being address is going into the center of thd problem with her citizens which is their inner being the ALMIGHTY CHARACTER. Nobody will shun a person of integrity. Once this realization is dawn on our fellow Nigerians then the healing process will begin otherwise the vague argument and refusal to accept the root cause why the Nigerian generate fear wi ever persist unabated. Let the wise listen
The problem is not the Ghanaian property owners or landlords, those Nigerians who came here earlier are the cause of your problems because of the bad behaviour, bad and evil character and unacceptable attitude they put up against Ghanaians here in our country so most Ghanaians have given up on Nigerians because of your bad character. I can go on and on and on and list so many evil and bad things your Nigerians that has caused Ghanaians to loose interest in favouring Nigerians or given Nigerians second chance
..You cant be shoving Yoruba or Igbo on any Nigerian, neither must you assume (as all Nigerians are wont to do and keep saying) that Ghanaians are named after the days of the week.
Why are you worrying yourself, do they know how many Ghanaians leaving abroad. Here in France where I reside if someone commit the French police don't ask where do you come from?they just go according to the law.
And that's how it should be. You treat criminals as criminals. The more I see these things and study this mindset of Africans which is also at the core of tribalism, I see that we have a long way to go.
Again, tribalism and discrimination everywhere in Africa. You are so quick to label an entire tribe as the problem of Nigeria, such a myopic mindset. Who cares whether you are Igbo, Ashanti, Yoruba, or from Kuvuki land? I see that we Africans are our biggest problems.
Darling you don't deserve those treatments but am solely blamed your fellow citizens, some are causing mayhem in this world. My beat friend is called Osi who's very horrible Guy but he's doesnt trust his fellow citizens. Am very hopeful you would be interviewed the victims of those caused by your fellowship.
I think regarding the renting of the property, they can ask for a reference like some landlords do here in the UK. I understand that they have to protect their properties, and some of them might be acting out of horrible experiences from some Nigerian tenants, but as a business you have to find a workaround to survive. Ask for their residence permit and a reference from a Ghanaian to help protect your property if you feel unease about it instead of an outright refusal. Regarding your point that he should at least try you and if you didn't live up to his expectation he would have the right to eject you...hmmm, see, in Ghana the tenancy laws don't allow that. The laws favour tenants hugely. You can't just kick a tenant out even at the end of a tenancy agreement. You need to give them time, and then some. That is part of the reason why landlords act the way they do towards people or groups they see as a potential trouble. They do the same to young people. It's a shame though.
@@TheJumzTV oh yeah, it is a thing, except that not all tenants are in the know. Those that are, tend to abuse it. I know a Facebook friend who just left her property and came back to London in exasperation through a court in court out situation regarding a rogue Ghanaian tenant. .

Ohhh dear! So sorry about your experience, must have been a very horrible experience. It happens in Japan to Africans generally? Wow!!!!

What she's saying is because she's specifically a Nigerian she was done bad

Now that you have seen that we generalize, it has even become more important to behave very very well and advocate that your brothers and sisters also do same because when they go about harming and hurting people, we will generalize and every Nigerian will suffer for the sins of few.
Even you advocating that they behave properly, if they don't listen to you, what makes you think they would listen to her simply because they are from the same country as her? Rather than generalising, I think the best thing would be for either Ghana or Nigeria to leave Ecowas and make it difficult to get visas to enter Ghana. For me, I think that would solve the issues.
Stop the Hate and work on communicating and understanding each other.

Really, you should visit Nigeria someday and maybe trace your roots over there.
Yeah, thank you for your encouragements.
@@TheJumzTV hahaha I know right and i will definitely find out soon
I think every property owner needs a guarantor before renting a property. I would rent to a lady student or a clean lady like you,but not the Yahoo boys. We have so much in town.
They drew in Ghana 🇬🇭 whiles we were in high hopes to beat Nigeria 🇳🇬 but at the end it’s what it’s, we went home 🏠 coooool 🤣🤣🤣
Kinda funny but I've haven't seen too many Ngs take responsibility about their woes, except for Mr Manager. This land lord issues is everywhere in the world from America to China specifically towards Ngs. I sympathise with you because of who you are but how long am I supposed to care for you, when everyday your people are screaming out proudly as a group {Ghana Must Go]. Please don't giggle because many of my people died due to that. Put yourself in the other shoe and maybe you'll be humbled. Let's keep it 100% if we're gonna do this. How about [Ng Must Go?] Huh?
That is a fat lie, landlord issue is not a problem specifically towards Nigeria everywhere in the world and definitely not America or China. You probably haven't left your home in Tamale, you just write based on hearsay.
Currently I own 2 properties in New Jersey, and 1 apartment complex in Montreal CA where I live now. Please Okiemute do your home work, you must live under a rock if you're not aware.
@@zionlee3644 that doesn't prove anything. What if I also tell you I own apartments in the U.S or have several relations there and what you initially asserted remains a fat lie.

Nigeria people attacked.
To me Jim tv it will be wise to advise ur people
To live in peace rather then violence
Either then that they bad behavior will affect the good once too
My dear, I’m surprised you don’t know why Ghanaian landlords and Landladies are reluctant to offer their houses to Nigerians.
I have a lot of Nigerian friends and one of traits I find in many of them is ‘the end justifies the means’
‘Make it by all means’. That’s is Nigerian slogan.
True
Stereotypes again
@@okiemute7744 Yes, Stereotypes are a real thing!!! not a good feeling but it's real
You see there's a certain kind of arrogance that is really sickening and not beneficial. I think people need to start taking some responsibilities and grow from there.
Keep reading my reactions and you'll probably see where I'm coming from.
Jumz the great
Firstly, I, highly, admire your channel; it's very informative and entertaining, as usual, and I tune-in in my free time.
Nigerians should learn to respect other countries laws when living there
Good Nigerians don't have any problems living in Ghana.
Hmmm... Don't give up keep being you and those who will know you will attest for you..
@@TheJumzTV Please defend and speak but do it constructively. Personally you're almost a perfect human to me.
@@TheJumzTV come on ma dear did I not apologize for the negative stereotypes but to be frank try travelling to Southern part of Africa & come & tell us the reception you'd receive when you pull out your ECOWAS passport.
All because of Yahoo boys enterprises ,I've been to Malaysia & there too same bad reputation.
In Italy landlords are refusing to rent out to Nigerians ask yourself why this is so.
Much as I can empathize with your situation as a foreigner living in another country I think you'll be better supported if you take a stance on educating the bad apples that their actions affect soo many innocent people.
Bless up
I always Watch with advertisement
@@williamgamelisenaya793 so you think the bad apples would change if she starts educating them on RUclips simply because she's a Nigerian and they are Nigerians?
So from your comment Nigerians are the worst of Africa and the only ones that should look inwards to heal?
I think tha landlord is right it is past experience
The problem is not the Ghanaian property owners or landlords, those Nigerians who came here earlier are the cause of your problems because of the bad behaviour, bad and evil character and unacceptable attitude they put up against Ghanaians here in our country so most Ghanaians have given up on Nigerians because of your bad character. I can go on and on and on and list so many evil and bad things your Nigerians that has caused Ghanaians to loose interest in favouring Nigerians or given Nigerians second chance
We’re fed up with 10 millions of Nigerians living illegally in Ghana making accommodations difficult to find

Am a Ghanaian I lived in lagos for 4 years the only tribe Ghanaians know is yorubas
Interesting!
..You cant be shoving Yoruba or Igbo on any Nigerian, neither must you assume (as all Nigerians are wont to do and keep saying) that Ghanaians are named after the days of the week.
You could even be Itsekiri or Modekeke
Modakeke, yeahhhh! I know someone from there.
say it as it is, ibo’s are the problem of Nigeria and they should call to order !!!
Ah... lol. Another angle
Oh! Thank you so much for this piece of information about tenancy laws, didn’t know it was an actual thing in Ghana.
@@TheJumzTV oh yeah, it is a thing, except that not all tenants are in the know. Those that are, tend to abuse it. I know a Facebook friend who just left her property and came back to London in exasperation through a court in court out situation regarding a rogue Ghanaian tenant. .
you're happy to say every Ghanaian name their new borns after the day of the week though.when it's just a certain group of Ghanaians who do that
The landlord has probably had bad experiences with Nigerians.
Yeah, It seems so or they’re just trying to be on a safer side.
Jumz, you dont seem to know alot about football. You're right not all Nigerians are like others.
How do you explain a full capacity stadium of Nigerians happily chanting Ghana must go. Who are these exceptions?
@@zionlee3644 if you were at Baba yara stadium, you would understand football cheers. Kumasi did same to Nigerians. That's football.
