I don’t like the take mostly because Luke is gone and I didn’t want to get another portal QB. But I’m a Nole and here we are hoping we have a good season behind Thomas. I get it man but idk.
I'm just going out here and saying it. I'm really concerned over with where they're going offensively. Kids nowadays want to showcase their skills in space and pad stats. Don't see that happening here. I just don't think a run first offense like Malzahns is going to attract top tier WR talent. And with no aerial threat, teams will just stack the box. Also, the only QB that has excelled under Norvell has been JTrav. All the others have been busts. That is not a positive trend. And how in the hell did our Oline turn into absolute dog $heet? Sorry guys... just concerned and venting at this point. Been a noles fan since the late 80s and genuinely worried about the future.
None of these kids want to compete anymore. Brock will stay because he knows that he’s never gonna be the starter at FSU again unless the starter is injured. Luke disappointed me by not trying to compete. He has the tools to run Gus’s offense but obviously doesn’t have the balls to compete for the starting job. Don’t let the door knob hit you in the ass out the door.
🤣 What you need is a transfer coach coming in and bringing his staff and players with him. If you are admitting it’s rebuild, players leaving left and right, and the coach has to “win games now” all of this 👋 is window dressing. Go get a Cignetti and have him bring like 15-20 players and go after your regular recruiting (which FSU still has a name and is in Florida so they get quality) and add a few key pieces with NIL/portal. Yall are pretending by not firing the coach.
I highly doubt Brock stays. Ain’t no way after the staff put Luke in front of him and just took a 5’9 running back? Lmao this staff is in over they head in my opinion
again they just go with the first quarterback they see don't even talk to anyone else what the f and call me crazy but I wouldn't mind the quarterback Who could actually throw the damn ball and you also said it they didn't even recruit him as a quarterback !!!
I keep thinking the same thing. Mike has not picked or recruited a successful QB yet. He brought in Milton but then went with his Travis out of necessity. Then DJU. His job is literally on the line. Is this really the best choice? He's betting on it...I hope he's got it right this time. 🤞
The difference is they thought they had something in the o line. Thats the reason they got DJ. To take deep shots and run the ball. They are getting a mobile guy, that’s a great athlete. What’s the issue

Even Ira said he was up and down the rest of the season after beating us. The dudes is a quitter. Is there ever a reason to quit on your team? Again, just very uneasy but it's Mike's choice...it's his job on the line. If the guy comes I will be behind the Noles no matter what happens just like this season.
I kind of agree, but maybe they can do something with him, because Norvell has to win now, they want to run the hell out the qb i hope he can hold up the whole season
I can understand where you’re coming from but I seriously think this guy is a lot better than DJU. DJU was a statue back there along with our terrible o line. If we can get some good transfer lineman and he can stay healthy we will be much better
If you go back and watch the Florida game, the quarterback was responsible for most of the sacks. Problem with fans is if you throw a young quarterback in who can't read the defense, can't recognize a blitz, can't beat a Blitzer with his arm only, can't assign protection against a blitz, and has bad pocket awareness, it's the O lines fault. The O line just improved immensely with TC at quarterback.
@EdD-it1zs Didn't he get benched for poor play and then quit on his team. Please don't drink any more of that Garnet-flavored Kool-Aid... Remember what happened this year, and it was 2-10, largely due to an absolutely dreadful O line. 🎯
@@RaisedCane-qn3ts He wasn't the right quarterback for Bill O'Brien's system and as a result, when teams figured BC out they couldn't adjust because he was the wrong quarterback for their system. Didn't you listen when they said he went from over 1k yards rushing to a hundred and something? Fanboys say he got benched but you guys have no perspective. If he played versus SMU, they probably would've won. If he played for FSU this season they wouldn't have went 2-10.

@RaisedCane-qn3ts The quarterback requested too much money. Take that NIL money and invest it into the trenches. How did FSU go from 10 deep on the Oline in summer of 2024 to a terrible Oline in winter of 2024?
10 deep doesn't matter if those 10 aren't good
He’s mobile.. huge upgrade already 😂
Can we please Bring dion sanders in please
Luke doesn't fit Gus offense if FSU gets the key players they need on offense. They'll be explosive. I do feel that Luke should've stayed bc I feel that he could've adapted to it but this is Gus offense now so we have to trust the process
The evidence is there to say mike norvell has no clue on how to evaluate quarterbacks. So yeah, this is scary
I don’t like the take mostly because Luke is gone and I didn’t want to get another portal QB. But I’m a Nole and here we are hoping we have a good season behind Thomas. I get it man but idk.
4-8 NEXT YEAR WITH THESE TERRIBLE HIRES AND DECISIONS BEING MADE BY NORVELL
Put money on it ...
@@ButtonsWilliams-k2vFacts
@ButtonsWilliams-k2v Sure I will. We will have the worst QB of 9 of the 12 teams we play. AVERAGE TALENT OL DL. FULL STOP
OL has been terrible since 2014. Dalvin covered it and so did JT
kyler murray 2.0?
Are you dumb?
None of these kids want to compete anymore. Brock will stay because he knows that he’s never gonna be the starter at FSU again unless the starter is injured. Luke disappointed me by not trying to compete. He has the tools to run Gus’s offense but obviously doesn’t have the balls to compete for the starting job. Don’t let the door knob hit you in the ass out the door.
🤣
What you need is a transfer coach coming in and bringing his staff and players with him.
Congrats on the new child Trey.
Kaidon is a better option why arent they making a real play at him instead
Man this is dju all over again
Caint get much worse than last season. Still hated to see K. Leave
we won’t win more then 7 or 8 games with this guy anyway why not keep luke and work with him
I think 8 wins is possible
4-6
@@drakodakid1096😂
He's bound to get injured. Better get another QB somewhere.
6-6 incoming
Better than 2-10 🤷🏾♂️
@ get excited
4-8 facts he quits after week 5 when they don’t have a choice but to bench him cause the fan base going crazy
@@drakodakid1096 maybe Brock Glenn will become the first HS QB this staff develops and he becomes the savior.
I highly doubt Brock stays. Ain’t no way after the staff put Luke in front of him and just took a 5’9 running back? Lmao this staff is in over they head in my opinion
We had all the time in the world to get a QB and we jumped at trash.
again they just go with the first quarterback they see don't even talk to anyone else what the f and call me crazy but I wouldn't mind the quarterback Who could actually throw the damn ball and you also said it they didn't even recruit him as a quarterback !!!
Lamar Jackson JT light
Bill O'Brien=🫏🤡
Why is everyone getting excited why...norvell can't recruit qtrbacks he ll be fired after this ur gus will be out next coach which will suck
This feels like DJU all over again, our fanbase trying to convince ourselves a mediocre QB is the savior next fall
@@Kjbxll I'm not disagreeing with you (or anyone else). Just apprehensive. I remember after he ran all over us then the next week he was horrible.
It's hard for QB's to look good when the O line is not good. Football ain't rocket science.
@EdD-it1zs Dude, Norvell just gave up on his his top recruit in the 2024 class. He looked like a deer-in-the-headlights all season long with no clue. He brings Gus Malzahn, who has been absolutely terrible at UCF. It's time to cut your losses because what else do you need to see to figure out that 5 years in, Norvell is a .500 coach in ACC play after hitting the lottery with Travis and others in the portal. It's never gonna be what it needs to be. Period!
@RaisedCane-qn3ts The quarterback requested too much money. Take that NIL money and invest it into the trenches. Truth is, that flag planting incident made me know that a lot of players and staff gave up on Norvell. Norvell still has passion for the program. You remember Al Golden? Would I want him as my HC? No, but as a DC he is elite. Plenty of great OCs and DCs flunk or have bad runs as a HC.
Why not go after Jacurri Brown from UCF
I hate to break this to Trey and Adam but Luke sucked lol. Objectively worse than Brock. Did he have some impressive physical tools which could make you think he had a high ceiling? Absolutely. Was he ready for 25? Hell no. 26? Probably not even then. That is how raw the kid was.
Thomas a stud.. these comments are dumb
We should have went after Maalik Murphy from Duke IMO
I’m not a fan of this signing! Mike may have escalated his demise 🤦🏽♂️
DUKE SIGNS TOP QB IN PORTAL AND NORVELL SIGNS WORSE QB IN PORTAL PATHETIC
Malzons entire legacy niw depebds on a QB so wuestionsble, he lost his job with a better Offense than FSU
This is BS. Not trying to see a miget play QB just because he can run.......this is a horrible pick up, no wonder Luke left
Luke is not good (yet) and Castanellos is in a different league than him right now. Luke could have stayed to learn but he wanted to go eat sacks for more money elsewhere apparently
😂😂😂
Castellanos is in a different league alright. Boy won’t make it to the Canadian league and he was these clowns 1st choice.
@@drakodakid1096on everyone’s comment crying and complaining like you can do better 😂 comical just go be a fan of another team little boy

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Hell, the BC oline looks almost as bad as ours
I'm not going to support a guy that quit on his team mid season. Doing that should get you blackballed from the P4
What a joke. Laughable. Norvel just signed, sealed and delivered his resignation.
Maybe he should have called you before making a decision
@@noletroll Exactly. He should have. I actually tweeted and emailed Norvell to take Kaidon Salters. What did you do other than continue to except mediocrity? Then again, that's what average people do.
@@KH-qs1di I'm sure he took your words to heart RUclips warrior. We were 13-1 2 seasons ago and won 19 games in a row. Last seasons sucked but accepting mediocrity is playing Luke knowing damn well he isn't ready.
