It’s amazing how you guys don’t even mention Trever Jackson! You brought up Sperry, a kid that hasn’t done anything for FSU yet, but no mention of a 4 star Elite 11 QB that dropped his commitment to Ole Miss to be a walk on for FSU, and has seen nothing but disrespect from the FSU talking heads. Reminds me of the disrespect y’all were giving Jordan Travis before he showed y’all why he was special!

He didn't drop ole miss, they dropped him because he lost his starting job in HS as a senior. He was a walkon for a reason. Btw he was a 4 star in only one service, 3 star in the others. If he don't like the lack of respect he can step down the road. Hell never play here. 😊

I know our O line was horrible but Luke had a very high sack rate and he holds on the ball way too long
He's played like 5-6 games as a true freshmen in college football and only a few years as a high school quarterback. Couple that with learning on the job and afraid of making a mistake. Norvell doesn't exactly develop plays to let the quarterback sling it all over the place. And Norvell is not exactly patient with quarterbacks unless it was DJU. Go back a few years where he yanked Travis in the Notre Dame game for a one legged Mckenzie Milton.
Agreed 100%. He looked scared to throw it. That’s not a good combo to have. Glenn would atleast throw the ball, unfortunately to the wrong team to often but at least he would get rid of it. I think play calling was terrible also.
We see other true freshman qb’s move the ball, win games and actually be productive, that’s why we see that he’s not a great talent! Hell he’s below average @@IRatherbeTrashthanADemocrat
Crazy to me that Norvell was more invested in Luke and he's the one who leaves and brock stays. I would've put EVERYTHING into getting dudes for the trenches. We could have won with brock/trevor and great lineman

Heavily rely on transfer portal is a big strategic mistake. Norvell might get lucky again but might as well suffer a season like what we just had. You have to have the ability to develop and retain talents. Be honest, no faith in Norvell. Sorry.
I wish Luke much success but guess when you transfer you still gotta compete wherever you decide to go to.
If he's asking for millions of dollars after what a joke he was on the field last season, I hope he has fun riding the bench or staying in the portal. No team in their right mind would pay a turnover machine millions. Even the NFL wouldn't do that.

With the way CFB has changed, I find it very hard to believe that Luke didn't demand more money to stay and sit. He was talented but very raw and it showed. I don't blame MN on this one

Luke isn't stupid. He blundered at times, but showed flashes of excellence. The fact is he knew he and Brock were going to be back ups to Castellanos and he didn't want to waste another year doing that. He wants to clap his hands when the ball is centered, not watch from the sidelines with arms folded for 60 minutes.

Why do y'all keep saying that about Luke not fitting Gus's system? The last time Gus and MN worked together was at Tulsa where they had a 5k yard passer, 3 1k yard WRs, and a 1k yard RB all in the same season. It was their 1st year together too. They were even better in year 2 so I don't understand how y'all keep thinking that. Him and Hand coached Cam Newton and KJ Jefferson but that was without MN as HC. You have to go back to when MN, Gus, and Coach Hand last worked together and that was Tulsa.
Where he goes next and how much he gets, if anything will tell you what the truth was. Lukes family is denying the whole money thing.

I’m a Gator fan but I was actually very impressed with Luke in the game against us. I thought he was going to be an excellent QB for y’all next year. He’s very athletic and can definitely run. I’m just now learning about him leaving.
Having said that I know how bad it sucks when a good player you’ve invested in bails on you
He's a gunslinger and wants to go to the NFL. Malzhan's offensive scheme will not help him

NIL needs to go the way of the do-do bird. Scholarship+ the same decent stipend to ALL players. College football is dead to me. It has become a joke that no one seems to get that it is damaging the game in a huge way.

FCS football is much better to me for the pure game of football with players who want to be at their school. NIL is the worse thing to happen to college football. And I am so tired of these kids saying they don't get paid when they get a college degree for free. @@tboards71did you not see his regression from his Jr year of HS to his SR year? There's a reason Ole Miss dropped him and moved on. MN did him a favor by offering him a spot on the team. Walk ons education are paid for by NIL now so he's fine

With NIL and the transfer portal, this stuff isn’t rocket science. When a player sees he has value in the market, he’s going to take advantage of it and move on. It’s simple business now, no loyalty or commitment. Spending even 10 minutes talking about this is a total waste of time. 🙂
Unfortunately, Luke doesn’t fit Gus’ system. I hope he lands with a team that fits his skill set. If he does he will flourish.

Honest take: Kromenhoek could have been something special, but he's just as likely to be a bust like a bunch of other busts. I mean DJU is one. It's absolutely RIDICULOUS that ANYONE from a 2-10 team thinks they deserve to be paid millions of dollars. There is no reason anyone would make that up. I hope he has fun either riding the bench or not playing next year, because he is NOT ready for college football. His ratings are meaningless: the product on the field was laughable.
I hope he reads this because he is not nearly as great as he thinks he is: 3rd-string QB on a 2-10 team. That's what you're worth, Luke: absolutely NOTHING.
