Hello, the transfer gel goes on the nail after you wipe off the inhibition layer from the color of choice. Cure for 1 minute, let the transfer gel sit for a minute or 2. The longer you wait the better it should transfer. Press dull side of transfer foil to the nail, rub a lot until you see it transfer. Hope this helps. 💖☺
Lol! I tried it. It Works! I prefer this method. I also watched her video. I also used the Makartt Nail Foil Transfer Glue, which I cured for 60 seconds. But before applying foil I used the Makartt Top coat on the nail and cured for 60 seconds. And Viola! I went thru a lot of Shein & Temu nail foil transfer glue ugh. Never had a problem with Makartt or Beetles, though. Thanks for sharing. I love foiling. And this makes it even better. Way Cool!✌️
@@vickiforte2429 ahhh that's super helpful to know! it sounds like it could just be the glue then because even when i tried it the regular way, it would not transfer. thank you!! 😊
I'm wondering if it is the transfer gel? I have tried quite a few of then. Sometimes over or under curing could effect them as well..definitely do not give up and try try again...❤❤I'm pretty sure I have done videos on my favorite product for foils maybe I will do an updated video? Foils can be tricky, also I prefer the silver backed ones not clear, for some reason I struggle with those..not sure why😮😮 I'll definitely do a video and also I need a new way to organize my foils😊😊 I'll be looking for something now!! @@MizzRivera86 it could be the gel as well, i've had it for a while now so maybe it's getting old? either way, yes I'm definitely gonna keep trying! 💕 i'd love to see a video of you doing it! can't wait! 🥰
Just was reading ur comment about organizing ur foils.I been wanting to do this as well.I saw a gal with a photo album with pages for small (school pic size)openings. She just folded em up and put one in each opening.I think that makes sense cuz then I can see each foil seperatly and know exactly what's on it.FOIL IS FINICKY.!TIMING, THICKNESS, GLUE QUALITY & NAIL PREP ARE ALL INVOLVED!But once ya master it, can be VERY REWARDING not to mention beautiful!Anyways...HAPPY FOILING!!😉🫶💅
I came to learn how to do this myself lol! Did u try the foil glue on foil, then onto nail then cure? That was my first thought. Reading the comments didn't help much. I'll try them any way.
Try prepping the back of the nail foil with alcohol/dehydrator/ph bonder then cure on a thin layer of nail foil glue. Next let it cool then smooth onto the press on nail. Remove it slowly starting from the sidewall. Good luck. 🍀
You can take tweezers and just peel the image up.That's how I do it when I can't get the traditional method to work right. You can use gel top coat too and peel up the image with tweezers but I think it makes the foil too hard. I use the gel foil glue on the foil but you have to put it on the foil kinda thick for it to be able to peel off in one piece.
@@thelocnailmasterI forgot to mention that the foil glue will wrinkle but it's fine just do what you did in the video. And when you peel it up it will be stretchy to where you can manipulate it onto the nail that's why you wanna make it kinda thick. At least that's what happened to me. It was harder to do that with gel top coat because it made it stiff to where it wouldn't lay down on the nail right. I hope this helps 🥰
The design with the butterflies, apply a thin layer of gel transfer glue, cure, then pull the design off the foil, like a decal. then apply it to the nail maybe with a gel base coat. ☺
You need a silicone tool to use to rub the foil onto the nail. If all the initial steps are not working, then trying to rip it off isn't going to do much. If it's working, you will see that the foil is separating from the plastic backing. Also, for a better chance at success, I would buy a transfer foil gel from a reputable company, which will be safer than temu products. That way, you can contact the company and ask them exact steps because foil gels work best if you follow the steps to the tee. The more time you put into it, you will get better just like with anything else. Good luck.

Hi there, If you wipe the shine from the nail then apply foil gel, don't cure it for too long to keep it sticky, tairni foil gel works really good.
hello! 💗 that's helpful, thank you so much!! 😊
I think it's too thick of a layer of tanner glue. I apply it the same I would a base coat and never have issues with temu foils

I wonder if you can curse it straight onto the nail.
I have a whole binder full of foils
It’s not you, it’s the lamp you need one that’s at least 48watts
