Amazing video. I love your builds, specially the burning staff one, it's so clever. I have two question about your roaming firebrand build: why did you change from defender runes to durability? I feel like defender would still be good considering you are still using the heal mantra. Also, why mantra of potence and not cleansing mantra/mantra of truth? Cleansing mantra is op as fuck for wvw afaik and mantra of truth is basically more aegis disguised as blindness.

Sure you can use durability and defender. Iam usw defender too, but sometimes i use durability cause the boons. I love many boons 😅.
And i use the quicknes mantra, cause you get many Stacks of might, but the cleanse matra ist very good too!

@@sonataray oh man, firebrand is and always will be my favorite roaming class. Do you remember back the when we could crit cap with harriers because radiance alone gave 50% crit? and cap bd because of the old conc sigil? the heal tome use to be thicc too and got nerfed (no joke) like 10 times. Good times. I think the only main difference was that I ran greatsword and stoic demeanor for respectively the surprise blink gs2 and the almost permanent slow application. I'm going back to WvW after almost 8 months break and i'm gonna suck so hard.
I remember you also used mace for some fights, why did u drop it? I personally liked the defensive part of mace but never really used it cause it was too slow compared to other weapons.
Also, did you ever consider using mantra of truth? it deals some damage and applies weakness/blindness/cripple. The damage can remove aegis from other guardians, blindness can completely invalidate thieves and warriors and cripple is just great against people trying to kite you. They nerfed the duration with the last balance patch but it's still very good. Imagine that warrior building up adrenaline and wasting his arc slicer because he got b l i n d e d ;)

yes i have tested the mantra of truth, it's really good, but it doesn't fit into my gameplay

Hi! I'm pretty new and I got hyped for playing Guardian after watching this... I was looking at metabattle but I can't find something that looks similar to what you were doing. (I might not have enough knowledge of the game to spot the build you were using lol)
Mind explaining to me the choice of weapons and specs?

hey, yes i build all my builds myself, they are not the best, but i really enjoy it and think they suit me very well.
The Dragon Hunter is a class that does good damage with its traps and can also kite on range with its bow, the damage is quite strong.
The Firebrand is actually a great supporter, but some also use it for roaming. Thanks to his stuns on the ax and his AoE, he can also do very good damage, but not as much as the Dragon Hunter and the Core Guardian, the Core is main class of the 3 specs, it is the easiest to play and does in the 1v1 most harm. I recommend you to take a look at them all 3 times :)
