Conquest is so much more... emotionally gripping than Birthright. Like I was hurt when Xander didn't understand that Garron was evil, but this one hurt even more because you had to defeat everyone.
IMO Birthright is more emotional, while Conquest is more dramatic And more fucked.
And then there is Revelation XD
@@MegaReedX Yeah. One probably blames on the Conquest decision being OOC for naive cinnamon roll Corrin, who should probably be too repulsed at living with Garon to pick Nohr.

Conquest is still my favorite path, sure the story is not the best, but gameplay wise It's the best of the 3 paths and the one meant for us the old school fans of the series... and besides that would be my choice if I were in Corrin's place, Loyalty and Gratitude to my siblings that I grew up with! over than a bunch of strangers that I don't even know... like Corrin says "I simply will not abandon the only family I have ever known"...
MasterHyperion90 Couldn't say it better myself,The Hoshido family are only acquaintances of what two weeks,one month? Don't make me laugh.
And of course you can always plot rebellion on the inside instead of betraying them right away.

Except for the fact that Corrin at the time of this event EXPLICITLY REMEMBERS Garon murdering his father (or the man he thinks is his father) at a PEACE NEGOTIATION. It makes ZERO NARRATIVE SENSE at this point for Corrin to want to go back to live with Garon, the man who murdered his dad. While the Nohr siblings are cool people who are worth going back for, Garon is NOT. From Corrin's perspective, he's a man who enjoys making POWs fight to the death with his own kids, sicks mindless monsters on innocent villagers, and either is too incompetent to see that Hans is a bad guy OR purposefully hired a bad guy. The only logical explanation at this point for this decision requires Corrin to be an entirely different character- either a cold Machiveallean schemer purposefully choosing Nohr to exact revenge on his father's killer via assassination or some other means, OR a hot-headed, angry young man only going to Nohr to run Garon thru with Yato the moment he sees him next. Corrin, as the narration has told is neither: he's a naive sheltered cinnamon roll who should be REPULSED at the idea of living with Garon. Narrative-wise, only Birthright and Revelations make any sense. Birthright because there's a possibility he remembers more than just his father's murder, and because living with Garon is just too disgusting, Revelations because leaving his Nohr siblings would understandably stress him out and cause him to panic and go neutral.
You guys are idiots hoshido is better then conquest in so many ways. You guys all complain conquest is better cause its more difficult nd challenge. Ok so if u want challenge nd a better story then crap conquest play birthright ok lunatic classic problem solved. Birthright is the much much better version if u think otherwise your dumb

I would've chosen the Conquest path as well if I was in Corrin's place, but since I'm pretty new to the Fire Emblem franchise, I think Birthright will be around my level of expertise of the game's mechanics. I've only played one FE game btw (Binding Blade).
After playing birthright first. And now I'm playing conquest this is pretty sad...

Depending on what you played first, this can be sorta emotional and NERVE DAMAGING EMOTIONAL
It hurt watching this after birthright. Especially with proving takumi right with his assumption
not even corrin himself can come up with a compelling reason he'd return to nohr after seeing how clearly in the wrong it is
I know I’m late, but here’s an answer:
1. Better introduction
2. Only Garon’s fault
3. Enjoyable siblings
4. Hardcore FE mode
Corrin isn’t returning to Nohr for Garon, he’s returning to his adoptive family that he had spent the majority of his life with because he loves them.
If you hear you're adopted and found your real family would you rather stay with strangers or the family that loved & educated you ?

As much as I love the Nohrian siblings, I also feel sympathy for the Hoshidan siblings. They've done all they could to get their sibling back, only for their hard works to disappear into dust as Corrin sided with Nohr.
This is only the beginning of the actual story, why am I already having feels?!?!?
usually i send camilla to support xander, both using her rose's thorns skill to boost xander to a 2 hit kill rather than 3 and using elise's freeze staff to keep camilla out of range of attack

i couldn't kill ryoma since he was always flipping and dodging every attack, so i just sent camila to pair up with leo ,baited takumi killed takumi then hinoka then baited yumikura, and since i couldn't kill ryoma i went...................... for sakura, that felt really bad since she is actually not even able to attack ,and she is just standing there, and also the fact thati played birthright first
I hate watching this route. I could never abandon my real family, or stand with King Garon after what he did. My loyalty ties to blood.
Side with blood and pull a Conquest. Except do it right. Figure out why they hate me so and change their ways. I have done such things before.
+Project Shadow Zero "Except" you completely missed his point. You're saying you'd turn against people who genuinely love you for blood-relatives like Garon - people who *cannot* be changed in such a way. And in doing so, lose the love of the family that does actually care about you.
The entire point of this choice is that it's delusional to assume you can "do it right" - there's rarely ever such a choice, and sometimes no amount of effort can rectify a person's cold heart. This "plan" of yours - that's exactly why Xander followed Garon all those years and in Birthright... and look where it got/gets him. Whatever personal successes you think you have, they're inconsequential and irrelevant to this comparison.
See, one of the overreaching themes about Fates is that blood or time alone doesn't make family - bonds and emotions do. Having sole loyalty to one over the other is a mistake because there is no "right" choice for something like that.

@@mitchellbaran7917 Yeah, I don't think family is only dictated by blood. Family is basically made of people who love and care about you no matter what. I've seen adoptive/step parents and adoptive/step children treat each other like family even though they do not share the same blood at all.
This chapter makes my heart hurt so much💔. For some reason.
I know how you feel man I just had to play through Birthright not to mention I just got into Fire Emblem so Conquest is quite hard for me, which is why I’m watching this playthrough

Makes you wonder the intentions of the father of the Hoshidan siblings and why the mother of Corrin (the Avatar) didn't do anything to stop him, right?? Very suspicious indeed!
Sumeragi wasn't knowingly taking Corrin into a battlefield- it was an ambush.
Despite how awful the Conquest storyline. I still choose Nohr because they have my favorite character, especially Xander, Elise, Odin, Laslow,& Selene. Better child units, and challenging gameplay that I never thought I could experience also facisnating background before the main storyline.

One question. If you buy "Fire emblem: Conquest", and you Finnish the storyline, are Birthright and Revelations available?
No,you have to purchase those 2.They don't just don't become available automatically.
So Revelations is also a game by itself? I've only seen Birthright and Conquest in a box, but never revelations
Yeah Revelations is a game by itself,its not available as a physical copy like Birthright & Conquest.It is recommended to purchase it from E-shop after you finish Birthright & Conquest.It costs $20 only.
You also get a 50% discount on your second game if you show your receipt or download it from E-shop.
-> The best way to go is to purchase one game's physical copy.
-> Purchase the next path from Nintendo E-shop so you can easily get 50% discount
-> Purchase Revelation at last when you have finished both Birthright and Conquest.

I am tored to pick which version. Xander and Elise has grown on me but Ryoma and Sakura as well. This game has deep characters in them. I cannot decide Conquest or Birthright, seeing as I don't like the idea of fighting either but I wants to get whichever one that is worth the money

Hello, one question I may be only able to import the one game, like i may only be able to get Fire emblem conquest. But i am looking forward to try to buybirthright with the discount. Does the receipt comes inside the box? How do you register the receipt of one game on the 3DS to get the other game through E-shop? (sorry for the silly questions, this is the first time i deal with a game that you have to do something like this)
See you cannot get the discount on the digital version if you bought a physical copy of one version.
Either have both games as Physical copies or both as digital copies.

You get the other at like chapter 16 of whatever path you chose or near that chapter but yes you get both.
