I have test driven the Marazzo! It was such a silent (incedibly quiet inside especially the engine) and comfortable vehicle with fabulous looking dashboard and quality interior design! Also, special mention must be made that the audio system has good sound quality with great bass! Additionally telematics with emergency services and driving performance measures is shown! Above all, fantastic value for money considering it is squarely aimed at the Innova! The point I am making is it is a great alternative to the Innova if comfort, safety(2 Airbags, ABS, EBD standard), interior design and space and extremely silent cabin is what people like me are looking for but cannot stretch their budget to the top variant of Innova..
I was really amazed when i driver this car from Chennai to Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. The Marazzo is very nice car with loaded features. The car is really very sturdy and very nice, very smooth to drive. Mahindra your hard work will never let you down. ALL THE BEST.
Kalpesh Patel yeah that's true, i agree with you there, provided they had decent performance, no doubt about them doing great. Only if mahindra can get some good designs out it would be great, am hoping this would happen soon
I find it funny people complaining about looks and complaining that it's no match for Innova Crysta. It is priced cheaper with good features like a powerful AC and decent third row space. A 1.5 liter engine generates the right fuel efficiency. Diesel is 70 plus a liter now. I will wait and see how many units it sells and then comment. With this pricing and a potentially fuel efficient engine, this thing is going to sell.
From this video we could come to a conclusion that mahindra is determined to Change its image. The only thing to say about this marazzo is ,it's just stunning
Appreciate your confidence. Mahindra and Tata have achieved high strides in the last 5 years. They are almost there.. just have to give them few more years...they ll surely reach the pinnacle
An affordable MPV/(an affordable Innova) from an Indian company & this one looks not too far away from US/EU standards. So happy to see Indian companies coming out with feature rich, safer & modern looking cars, the TATA's & Mahindra's have definitely upped their game a few notches in the last 2 years. I hope ppl start buying more TATA's & Mahindra's instead of Maruti's & it will in turn force Maruti to stop producing tin boxes & wake up to the competition & give us better cars.
Mahindra the pride of India.... Indian automobile manufacturing sector is evolving on shoulders of Tata &Mahindra. Ppl might b saying its not upto the mark... but they shd remember they comparing evolving manufacturer with evolved ones over. A century. So give them fair bit of time.
No new car should be released that does not have a battery/motor option. Put a 14kwh battery with the 80 or so kW motor in the back and this thing will fly, will take care of acceleration problems, emmision problems. Plus one may get upto 50kms pure electric range in city. People like me would happily shelve out 4-5 lakhs more for a PHEV model.
Poorly designed car from Mahindra, they say it was designed with a shark in mind, but it doesn't have the shark's most important aspect, it's top fin, in this case the shark fin antenna.
why don't you talk about Innova's over-inflated price? Only sheep-mentality people buy Innova at that price. That is the trouble with Indians. They just line up in millions to buy a hit thing and turn that thing into a monopolistic product. That is exactly indians did with Innova. Toyota started selling Innova at 7.5 lakh in 2007 and it sells at 35 lakhs today, thanks to our idiotic habit of favouring s few chosen few.
well i read some comments, everyone is complaining about looks and about its competitors. Now let me clear this, mahindra marazzo is not a competition to innova crysta or tata hexa, it is competition to Renault lodgy and suzuki ertiga. Mahindra has improved in lot of ways, i should say a budget mpv is the marazzo it's looks have some likes some dislikes but it's really improved and latest mahindra,. After xuv 500 this is the most good looking car
One thing i want to tell all.autocar really a very good youtube channel.other youtubers (like desi driving school, free advice, ask car guru, gagan chaudhory, motor octan)are just making us fool so dont watch their channel.they dont have knowledge about automobiles .they just use pictures from internet and spreading fake news. I love autocar india.its work is really good and appreciating.
The first thing comes in my mind about this car is nicely designed and well interiors....the newly designed cockpit....the best thing about this car is the well designed rear ac vents and sun blinds. The good amount of leg room and head room even in 3rd row and one touch sit fold to get into 3rd row quite impressive but when i looked at the exterior design there is a big question mark for me although it is a newly design mpv by mahindra...overall the car is very good and it will definitely hit the Indian market.
We Should be proud of this . An indian brand created a product which can compete Japanese giants Toyota’s Innova . 👍🏽 hats off to the effort , even though we don’t know the result of this in market
The price of service varies with different cars in all brands. People who usually complain about Mahindra service cost are also the one who would pay double the service cost for a Volkswagen.
Heyy indian, this is your own car production in your country, stop and get out from negative thinking, keep support local brand to make it better in future, like our proton cars we have support it and now they have changed the feature inside also same like perodua. Ya i know perodua have look alike daihatsu, bcause perodua and daihatsu also toyota have cooperate long time. Same like proton with misubishi and honda , now have partnership with china car product know as geely.
Bharath venkataraman i know bro but it is a fiat. Fiat is an excellent italaian manufacturer. But manufacturers like mahindara making this magic is quite unbelievable.
Nice review Sir. Thank you. Should be the first and detailed one to get anywhere online. Will it be a challenger to Innova and (forthcoming)Ertiga? Can it dethrone them? Will it be replacing the aging Xylo? Need to wait and see. Looking forward to a comparison review soon.
Really a revolution for mahindra cars and the segment especially for the features it offers. But the design is not to all tastes and looks a bit boxy. Not as good looking as the innova or ertiga.
I dont know why people are mocking marazzo against Renault lodgy , as they have taken deaign inspiration from them , well thats what is competition is all about , well at least they have executed it so well and they have not copied each and every thing. You can similar expamples of deaign copying from big giant maruti when they facelifted ertiga to give it a similar kinda look of innova . In MPV segment every one is going after one of the best seller innova , their is nothing wrong in healthy competition ,if am not wrong i guess they have taken help of sangyon design team to help them make a m/c of some another level which they have never done ,indeed guys you should appreciate the efforts of an indian manufacturer for opening more options to consumers in india , i believe it is more practical mpv that could give good competition to ertiga , lodgy .
hey guys i am new to this cars thingy but i wanna know more can you guys tell me the best car in your opinion that match this criterias first reliable and cheap to maintain and confortable and safe and i dont mind about the look but i would prefer it to look good if possible
I think for 5 seater go for maruti brand swift and for 7 as well as less maintaines you can go for ertiga , marazzo or Tata hexa for base in my advice go for hexa base as it cost 12lac on road and u get all high end things like 2000 cc engine comfortable seats looks ect

Hi AC team, Which is the widest middle/rear seat car in India , that has a high roof yet a low (rear)step in ?? Xuv500 is a step up, also the gap between 2nd row and b-pillar was a let down for me ...know what i mean?
Finally I see a good car by Mahindra. Mahindra used to launch bad cars which were poorly engineered, had low safety, were not strong. This car looks great, it looks a bit better and premium.thus car dose t look a Mahindra
The design is alright but the interior quality is now on a whole new level! Those center AC vents in the front look like they come straight out of a Skoda Octavia or some VW car! Nice quality car!
Finally somebody is here is compete Fake MPV Ertiga sales.. Marazzo defines MPV, looks premium, worth for money & ofcourse with American NAMC Engineering making it interesting. Those who cant afford Crysta bt ready to shell 11L this is top buy. Grt lauch M&M..looking for these Sharks on road now.
As a big Mahindra fanboy I doubt it's the same Mahindra which designed XUV 500 in 2011 with great specs and build. I think with the case of Marazzo, Mahindra planned to make their own Innova and ended up making Van inspired from Chevrolet Enjoy,Nissan evalia and mainly inspired from Renault Lodgy. This body cladding, upward going glass area and the overall unnecessary curves and tail lamp gives marrazo Van like stance to the car which looks too boxy and feels odd and which is least preferred in cars costing 10+ lakhs. Build quality seems good but the awkward looking handbrake and the big gear stick which moves 90 degrees in forward and backward feels cringy. The overall design n appearance of marazzo says that it's a new player in commercial market, doing think that it'll attract customers in private car segment due to overall appeal and competition.
roof to the front bumper continuous slope gives it a shark design language.....but i felt it is a combination of wide range of carefully selected other cars.....front look (with a slight change in the front grille) looks like the xylo, coming to its side look the chrome line which stretches all the way to the tail lamp and the body lines looks like its taken from innova and finally the rear view is close to renault lodgy....with a change in interiors and a few performance tweaks....and hola.....thats marazzo for us..
Designed by Pininfarina, just now saw it in their instagram page. God...since when Pininfarina started designing horribly wrong way.🤦🏻♂️ it so bulky.
