You can work up to these drops at your own pace. With slack drop you can make the drop smaller by inverting from sitting and hooking your leg lower. With fallen angel you should check out our other video ruclips.net/video/ovb2jvlNZ_A/видео.html to see how to get help and how to slow the drop so it isn't so scary. You got this!
@Enchanted That is totally okay! Please work at your own pace and do not rush yourself. I have done Aerial Silks before but am planning to do it more seriously in 2022. However, I have only done poses and the « Dragon Pose Drop » so please work at your own pace! I have an extreme fear of drops and heights a little, so Aerial silks help me to combat my fears. I hope you’ve learned some new moves and have instilled trust in yourself! Aerial exercise is so fun!!! ✨💕
It depends how often and how long you train. It could be a couple of weeks or a month maybe. Some of the pain is avoidable or can be minimized by placing the silks correctly on your body.
you'll get there! For the first drop, which is a slack drop, as long as your legs are in the right place, it's very safe! Just remember to get a good tight grip on the hooked knee, arch the back, and extend the back leg behind you and pull it toward the ground. Remember, you can always make the drop shorter by pulling up less. In our demo, she reaches up as high as possible to invert but you can reach just above the head and you won't drop very far at all. Once you become more comfortable, you can reach higher and higher. Good luck!
If you're having trouble with the wrap, it's important to remember to really engage the legs and glutes, meaning make them super strong when you straighten the knees, and really press down on the fabric with those straight legs as you pull your body up so it slides up the thigh. You want the fabric to end up at the crease where the thigh meets the torso, not on the thigh itself. Once it's there, it's not as tight. Arch the back and pull those super strong straight legs behind you as you prepare to drop.
