Many associate nations T 20 team would lose to any IPL team. So for T 20, India has no bench strength problem. See how amazing it is that Shresh Iyyer was captain of IPL 2024 winning team, still he did not even make to India world cup playing 11 or 15. Players like Washington Sunder, Druv Jurrell, Rituraj Gaikwad, Abhishek sharma, Rayan Prag were left out. For T 20, India’s bench strength is an ocean. Tgey can play 2 associate nations team at the same time and win both bilateral series. So, mere retirement of Kohli, Sharma, and Jadeja, JUST from T 20 format is a minor issue for now. By the time next T 20 world cup comes around, new team India will be ready. Captain would be either Rishabh Pant or Hardik Pandya.

Stop comparing Pakistani cricket with Indian cricket. We Indians have different challenges and we have worked our way through them. Pakistan cricket has different problems and you’ll have to find a way to address them. The biggest problem I see that Pakistan cricket has is lack of funds to improve the standard of playing the game. BCCI has ensured that they have a very strong financial income to support their game. They not only have resources to improve the quality and standard of their cricket but they also can influence ICC to back their team with favourable conditions. There’s a lot of competition in every aspect of cricket considering the population and popularity of the game whether it’s playing, coaching, bureaucracy, staffs etc. But, the choice is mostly on merits at least for important positions. So, Jay Shah might not be a good chief but there’s no contention about Dravid as coach. And, if not Dravid, then it might be Kumble or Ganguly. They all are good enough. With Pakistan, it’s opposite of this. Wahab is worst than Hafiz who is not as good as Younis who in turn is bad than Misbah or Inzi.

First they have to show good performance in domestic
Let them play domestic, for playing international they should look after their health for long duration and should be injury pronee. A couple of performances in leagues should not make them famous. Otherwise Indian team will suffer same as Pak team
Shubhman Gill has to step up. He is the next best batsman in the making. Yashasvi Jaiswal is grounded and doesn't take his success lightly. Rinku Singh is the best finisher in the waiting. I'm expecting big things from Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag, Mayank Yadav, Abhishek Sharma and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Pakistan mai bina tallukat aur sifarish ke bina kuch nahi ho sakta. Nepotism is so deeply ingrained, it would take 2 decades to root it out. Positive side of this is that Pakistani people are warm and friendly. Negative side is that meritocracy is a joke. It does not matter how good you are. It only matters who in power you know. Americans call it TRIABLISM. But, Tribalism does create warmth and good feelings. But, it makes a joke of meritocracy. Both systems have good and bad.
Every Pakistani ex-player is looking to get a big job in PCB. So, instead of constructive criticism, they are ripping off the whole Pakistani cricket. Mind you these are the same players who slow-poisoned the game by favouritism, fixing, destroying careers of upcoming players. They’ve basically ruined the game and now are dying to get into the cricketing structure through back door. No one has a problem with them taking strong positions in PCB but, show us your skills and successful campaigns as coaches before taking national jobs. Salman should go out and coach associate nations teams and build a reputation before criticising the team.

Again the tournament was tailored for Indian team although they still managed to play better than others to win it. That SKY catch was exceptional but we know that he touch the boundary and should’ve called a six. That’s where BCCI show how they can dominate. Whether it was advantage with all morning matches for India or close call favours. All said and done they are the champions for now.
