Jenny!! That is some hard work you’ve done there on the driveway bed!! You did great! I know how hard it can be. Especially when doing the work solo. I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out by the end of the season and how it grows on next year! Great job!! 😊♥️

Wow, I love watching real gardening. I live in CA and the youtuber I currently follow never uses a shovel, (relies on an auger), never climbs into to difficult spaces, plants only 3 plants/show & relies on her husband to do too much.
This show is the real deal-thank you.

The plants you have chosen for the first part of the driveway garden look wonderful. Love digging up and dividing. My primary planting rule is that deer and rabbits don’t eat it. Would be wonderful if you could mention that, if known. I have dug up half of my hosta and almost all of my lilies because of the critters. Putting in hellebores, dwarf butterflies, yarrow, many forms, and agastache. Biotone is a must for me too. I am in 7b zone, so many of your plants would work here too. Virginia does not get your cold winters, and the ground really doesn’t freeze here. Also love the stones you placed and replaced. It is a nice element throughout. Much good luck. Beautiful so far.

Thanks for sharing Jenny. I have planted a couple of bearberry plants also known as Kinnikinnick and I was told by another gardener that they can be somewhat temperamental. Mine are doing fine but once in a while a little brach might start drying out but I just ignore it or remove it.

What a wonderful accomplishment! Thank you for sharing! Working on hill like that can be exhausting. I have a hill that I plant and each year I try to put more perennials in it. I fight thistle weed. If you know of anything that gets rid of it naturally, I'm interested. Mary Born, ND

Hi Jenny , love ur driveway fence garden. U did so much …. Hard work will reward you with beautiful things. Those native plants are good choices. What is the name of those sedum next to the ajuga ? Love them together ( as u have said ) ! Any deer will taste ur fence climbing roses ? Or u need to spray them ? I enjoy to watch ur videos . Thanks for showing us what a real gardener is ❤。

That’s ’Dragon’s Blood’ sedum. Hoping the deer stay off the roses, but I can spray if not.
