Love the samurai switch blade rod YakPak used first. This challenge quickly devolved it hand lining. That should be the next challenge “hand lining 6lb mono”

In one video a few months ago they were all joking about waiting on a googan squad check with gravy… I’m sure the business relationship didn’t last long when they didn’t start acting like flare.

He is at Steve’s catfish farm in Molino Florida. I know someone who lives there and the pond behind them at 9:49 I have permission to fish when I go over there. There are some good bass in that pond behind them.

Try an Alvey reel.
There's also a baitcaster version of the pen rod. It works about the same.
I grew up using hand lines. Caught up to 8 foot sharks on them. The trick is to get your bait whirling in your right hand and when it's got some speed up, you launch it and point the hand reel where it's going. With practice I can throw a 12" mullet about 60 feet out for live bait.

If you want to catch bigger catfish use raw chicken with nothing on it and cut or live bait.. that jello and Kool aid shit only draws in the tinys.tiny.. it's quite simple.. catfishing the other day with someone using jello chicken and they hooked a log and was fighting the log on bottom for 15 minutes and couldn't tell them nothing
