How long can it go before being diagnosed cos its coming up on mri for me but my spine pain has been several years at extreme level and with scoliosis since my teens its always been quite painful so hard to know when it may have started and is it even possible to have had it this long without dying yet? Lol

I've had this since I was 12 and I'm now about be 36... What do you do when it was one of the worse cases they'd ever seen and they never could tell me where it came from... Also when I do have to go to ERs or whatnot when I'm in pain most just don't think it's a big deal. I've had several surgeries from it and most days I'm fine but there are times where I can't hardly deal with it and it gets extremely frustrating.

I don't know which country you belong to, but osteomyelitis is treatable. Worst case scenario we remove the entire area of infected bone and then grow it slowly by applying Ilizarov. It takes about 1-2 years. I don't know why someone would have to live with osteomyelitis for a stretch of 24years.

@conscireshooter4070 my brother has had this now for 2 years and now in a home for care because these Dr's do nothing for you. It's so frustrating 😫
