  • Purdue Dorm Tour 2021 - Earhart Hall
    Hey everyone,
Basically it was test week so I didn't record anything cause I wanted to focus on on the exams. i finished the testing on Friday and on Saturday I thought I should make this video since it shouldn't take too long and some people asked for this.
There have been some Purdue Earhart dorm tour but I thought I should do an updated version, and more cinematic.
AS ALWAYS, if you enjoy the video then don't forget to SUBSCRIBE, LIKE and SHARE.

Loved it, thanks Harry. It was so quiet in the dorm, so few people.
Hope you're enjoying your colleges days ☺️

Earhart Hall is the best dorm. I had the wonderful opportunity of being at Purdue in an International Program, financed by the US Department of State and the US Embassy in Portugal. I was chosen to represent Portugal. Until this day, still miss Purdue, the dynamics, the spirit, the dorm...EVERYTHING. Thanks for showing Purdue!

@@HarryHTF so much fun. Best time of my life. Meeting 44 individuals from each European country, future world leaders, plus 10 incredible US individuals, staying 3 weeks at Purdue University... It was just unforgettable. Until today I still remeber Purdue halls, the dorm, the place where we had the lectures... Everything! Thank you much for showing Purdue in your vlogs and your life as student. For someone who wishes to go study abroad in the US that's sort of a motivation seeing the life of a student at Purdue. Kepp it up man! Best Regards from Lisbon, Portugal

This is such a great video man! It's so well-shot and informational- I, for the life of me, could not find any images or footage of the bathrooms in Purdue. I know the semester's near over, but this would also be super useful for some of the other dorms, like Hillenbrand and stuff too! Thanks for the great vid!!

I lived in Earhart Hall in 1973, it was an all women’s dorm back then and considered every modern! I always wanted to live in The Windsor dorms but thought they were for the wealthy girls!

Hi Harry! I found your channel from your mom’s posts in the parents group. My son is also FYE. I enjoy your videos and this one especially because I lived in Earhart for four years when I was a Purdue student. Some things look a bit different (and it was all female back then) but also other things very much the same! It was fun to see!

    • @HarryHTF
      @HarryHTF  3 года назад +1

Yes you can choose to live in apartments instead of signing housing contract and live in a dorm. Although, I would recommend living in a dorm at least ur freshman year, because thats how you meet a lot of new people and just get a better sense of the new environment youre in in general. Its an experience you dont wanna miss

    Best dorm for freshmen?

    • @HarryHTF
      @HarryHTF  3 года назад +3

Griffin North and South are new so they are prob top tier. First street are single suite so they're really nice although a bit more pricey. Windsor, imo, has the best location in the residential area (cause I love 3rd street, very cozy) but its girl-only dorm. Earhart is the top of the mid tier. Pretty nice for freshmen (i was put in here cause I signed up for a Learning community). Shreve, Harrison, McCutcheon are more or less identical to Earhart
      (but:
Harrison: a bit further, no dining court, id say Earhart lobby more cozy
Shreve: no dining court, so have to walk to Hillenbrand or Earhart for closest dining courts, has nice study area tho
McC: dubbed "McCutcheon Mile', furthest away from academic area. ppl dont normally ever passes by McCutcheon unless they re heading to places in that directions like Subway or bookstore.
Wiley: Ok. close to Corec and Krach lawn but no AC
Cary: Cary closest, so ive heard, might be nice depends on which part of cary
      owen: similar to Wiley
Honors North and South: very cool view, closest to academic building.
Ps: the ranking applies to Purdue students in general and not just freshmen

A Poem to Memorialize Purdue’s Eternal Shame of Institutional Racism:
The Pale One at Purdue Northwest mocks a grieving family
Many Pale Ones flash white teeth in delight
Anguish in the hearts, pain in the soul of the grieving family
A Judas from the grieving family accepts silver coins in exchange for a smile instead of mockery from the Pale Ones
    The curtain falls
    Darkness comes
Now blood everywhere but silence from the Pale Ones at the Purdue home in the West
    Who to blame?
    This is not a game
    Who to blame?
    Search your heart
    Transform your soul
Now ask again: Who to blame?
