Let's say she really truly wants to be believed, do you think attacking people who are asking legitimate questions is the best way to appear in the public eye? She dragged herself into a highly publicized situation, has a sub counter on her response stream and is acting very defensive when people understandably start asking questions. Reason why people don't go to court is because of multiple reasons. The justice system is fucked, the costs are very expensive, and she never said she wanted to see him in jail. She wanted to share her story to feel better. I do agree she should've done it differently and think first before saying things.

Defamation is a no brainier because she essentially ruined his reputation as most people that look him up will see diddle accusations. Emotional damages/anguish can essentially be the death threats and hate messages he got on X and by the sheer number he got, any good lawyer can get you a decent amount. Lost potential earnings are usually tied to defamation as the first thing you find when looking up George is diddle accusations. And no one wants to have any connections to a diddler. What I can tell you is that if he launches a public lawsuit, makes it a big deal, and hires a good lawyer, he can take her to the cleaners. He can launch a campaign of rising up and fighting against false accusers and how she is downplaying the suffering of women, have a go fund me, and try to raise awareness by having people on that were falsely accused. The court of public opinion is basically on his side rn. And if he's ruthless, he can mess with her future. There are ways to dodge the damages that have to be paid by declaring bankruptcy/having a llc(but the odds of her having all the right docs as small streamer are very small) but if he has a good enough lawyer, he can have it so that the damages stick with her. Garnishing her wages indefinitely until the damages are paid in full.

As a victim of sa when i was a minor i really do not like how she is portraying this. It sounds like a girl who regrets liking a guy..Ive been in that exact same situation with the exact same age gap and i do not feel like i was assaulted. This really makes real sa victims not taken seriously. She was literally lying about her age as shes underage drinking. It actually angers me cause when i was 18 i do NOT hold people accountable for MY actions. I take all responsibility for my own actions at 18. Im 30 now and it would actually piss me off if people made me out as a victim for dating older guys when i was younger. No i was an adult making life choices. An example: If you sit in a chair and tell a hairdresser to cut your hair shorter and shorter till you say when and you want them to stop. But then you dont say anything at all. So they cut it too short waiting for you to say when. Is it the hairdressers fault that you didnt tell them when to stop at the length you wanted? or is it your fault for not telling them to stop when they were at the right length? Your choices or lack of choices lead to an outcome. This is being an adult. You cant blame others for your actions or lack or action.

The issue is that George's inconsistency doesn't destroy the central point in his defense (it has no impact because she is still 18, ie an adult). Her inconsistencies do. It calls into question the validity of one of her witnesses' testimony to what events happened that night, and hers for not remembering whom the text was from.

As a victim of sexual assault myself I always really want to believe sexual assault victims when they come out about something but since the beginning of this I have been really skeptical and I am not really a fan of George at all. I don't think it's fair to make decisions by the way she sounds because saying 'she sounds like she's lying' doesn't do anything to throw her points away. What does is the way she has been going about this, just the amount of inconsistency in her story does not add up. When you make something like this so public you have to be consistent with your story which can be frustrating but is necessary in a claim. Leaving out the fact he touched her breast completely threw out her credibility to me. Do I believe George made her uncomfortable, sure, he did put his hand on her waist but from what I remember he was also drunk meaning he couldn't consent to anything either, because that goes both ways. The stuff about the law I actually 100% agree with but I feel as though she is taking advantage of that information. If Caiti had reported this to the authorities there would not be enough information to do anything, and even if there was, the act of putting his hand up her shirt and resting it on her waist when they were both drunk would not really constitute a sexual assault charge. She's allowed to be uncomfortable, but being uncomfortable does not mean she was sexually assaulted.

My honest Opinion: I genuinely think that a huge part of this is the lack of consent/ lack of asking for it. You can argue about body language all you want but that can be interpreted wrong. If George had asked for consent at all then this wouldn't be happening. I do think that Caiti's rickety story does raise red flags, however I would rather apologize to George about being wrong vs. apologize for not believing a sexual assault victim. With that being said, I think you make good points defending most aspects around this except for the consent part (which ultimately is the MAIN part of this). As for the drinking part. Caiti WAS 18 and unfortunately was not kicked out/ "dealt with". So Caiti drinking while her choice does not make George even touching her okay. Lastly, the legal stuff. I am only going to brush this because I am NOT A LAWYER (so please take that into account before reading). From the lawyer expenses to the unfortunate injustice that is often served in the courts, legal action while should be pursued can be difficult, especially after something terrible like this. (If you have other evidence that you believe could change/ "enlighten me" on the issue please send it because at the end of the day this is not any of our business what so ever.) thanks for reading

Let's say she really truly wants to be believed, do you think attacking people who are asking legitimate questions is the best way to appear in the public eye? Defamation is a no brainier because she essentially ruined his reputation as most people that look him up will see diddle accusations. Emotional damages/anguish can essentially be the death threats and hate messages he got on X and by the sheer number he got, any good lawyer can get you a decent amount. Lost potential earnings are usually tied to defamation as the first thing you find when looking up George is diddle accusations. And no one wants to have any connections to a diddler. The court of public opinion is basically on his side rn. And if he's ruthless, he can mess with her future. There are ways to dodge the damages that have to be paid by declaring bankruptcy/having a llc(but the odds of her having all the right docs as small streamer are very small) but if he has a good enough lawyer, he can have it so that the damages stick with her. Garnishing her wages indefinitely until the damages are paid in full.

As an actual victim who suffered from SA for years, I can consciously say that she lying. No one ever comes forward because it almost feels embarrassing. None of us sit there and smile about our experience while telling to whole world. She doesnt seem ar all phased and looks more annoyed. You'd think she'd be more shaken up about it, and yet it just looks like she wants more drama. Victims need time to heal, and the last thing on our minds is to talk about our experience with the whole world. It took me and most of the people in my support group many sessions to actually speak up about our experiences. It's disgusting to me that someone would make up such accussations, and I wouldn't be mad if George decided to take legal action. Girls like her ARE the reason why none of us come forward.

As a victim of sa when i was a minor i really do not like how she is portraying this. It sounds like a girl who regrets liking a guy..Ive been in that exact same situation with the exact same age gap and i do not feel like i was assaulted. This really makes real sa victims not taken seriously. She was literally lying about her age as shes underage drinking. It actually angers me cause when i was 18 i do NOT hold people accountable for MY actions. I take all responsibility for my own actions at 18. If you sit in a chair and tell a hairdresser to cut your hair shorter and shorter till you say when and you want them to stop. But then you dont say anything at all. So they cut it too short waiting for you to say when. Is it the hairdressers fault that you didnt tell them when to stop at the length you wanted? or is it your fault for not telling them to stop when they were at the right length?
Your choices or lack of choices lead to an outcome. This is being an adult. You cant blame others for your actions or lack or action.

And while, as a victim myself, I understand anger, perhaps more than most, her anger is being directed at the wrong people and she is not acting in a way that lines up with her story of being fearful and hesitant and anxious to a fault. As a victim of sexual assault myself I always really want to believe sexual assault victims when they come out about something but since the beginning of this I have been really skeptical and I am not really a fan of George at all. I don't think it's fair to make decisions by the way she sounds because saying 'she sounds like she's lying' doesn't do anything to throw her points away. What does is the way she has been going about this, just the amount of inconsistency in her story does not add up. When you make something like this so public you have to be consistent with your story which can be frustrating but is necessary in a claim. Leaving out the fact he touched her breast completely threw out her credibility to me. Do I believe George made her uncomfortable, sure, he did put his hand on her waist but from what I remember he was also drunk meaning he couldn't consent to anything either, because that goes both ways. The stuff about the law I actually 100% agree with but I feel as though she is taking advantage of that information. If Caiti had reported this to the authorities there would not be enough information to do anything, and even if there was, the act of putting his hand up her shirt and resting it on her waist when they were both drunk would not really constitute a sexual assault charge. She's allowed to be uncomfortable, but being uncomfortable does not mean she was sexually assaulted.

My honest Opinion:
I genuinely think that a huge part of this is the lack of consent/ lack of asking for it. You can argue about body language all you want but that can be interpreted wrong. If George had asked for consent at all then this wouldn't be happening. I do think that Caiti's rickety story does raise red flags, however I would rather apologize to George about being wrong vs. apologize for not believing a sexual assault victim.
With that being said, I think you make good points defending most aspects around this except for the consent part (which ultimately is the MAIN part of this). As for the drinking part. Caiti WAS 18 and unfortunately was not kicked out/ "dealt with". So Caiti drinking while her choice does not make George even touching her okay.
Lastly, the legal stuff. I am only going to brush this because I am NOT A LAWYER (so please take that into account before reading). From the lawyer expenses to the unfortunate injustice that is often served in the courts, legal action while should be pursued can be difficult, especially after something terrible like this.
