Outstanding presentation. I have collected and read all the books by Dori Kearns Goodwin. I have listened to her numerous talks about each of her books as they were published and enjoyed each venue. Her thorough research and amazing antidotes about her subjects are beyond comparison with other authors on these same topics. She's truly an American treasure. Writings from baseball to Presidents, she shows us her range of love for our country. We are lucky to have her, her books; and, in our time, listen to her presentations.

Excellent interview of an amazing historian. DKG’s books provide a richness to our historical figures that brings them alive in our imaginations.

Maybe the best presidential historian, Doris Kearns Goodwin. Very good stuff as always. Lots of perspective (can we call her the ole "D.K."?)

I have to assume Donald is the most ignorant US President ever, although most historians haven't talked about this maniac and his knowledge.
