- Not a lot happening in these Dog Days of summer. Spring garden is all but finished except for the okra. I'm trying to get a few more tomatoes before the first frost but they are struggling to make it. If I can keep the bugs off the squash plants they should produce some fresh squash before the first frost.

I like the look of those brick raised bed borders. Neat idea.
@@MovingBlanketStudio thanks. The bricks were free. I’m really glad I did the walls. Much easier to maintain. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the update, Larry. Stay cool.
@@timsInSSI thanks Tim, you do the same. Hope you’re getting a nice sea breeze
I haven't had the heart to pull my cornflowers because the birds are loving the seeds, and I love watching them. They're an eyesore but worth it for the entertainment! I enjoyed your vacation videos.
@@GardenDiscovery I know exactly how you feel. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy your vacation thank you for sharing your pictures and your family great video have a great week yeah we had a bad thunderstorm yesterday and lost power for the first time this year.
@@beverlyabner3307 thanks Beverly. I was just thinking about you yesterday when I was walking through the garden and wondering how you were doing because I hadn’t heard from you in a while. Well, great to hear from you today. I hope they got your power restored quickly. At noon they said the heat index was 102. Stay safe. Larry

Yes, going on vacation tells me I need a robot to handle my garden. LOL
@@leisurelylogan that would be awesome.
Thanks for sharing your garden. Ours are always a work in progress. When you say Nicotina are you speaking of Nicotiana (Nico-shee-ana) plant? Your garden is still so lush and full of life!
@@sherry2836 like you, it’s always a work in progress 😊. Yes, I’m probably pronouncing it incorrectly as I often do with my plants.🤷🏻♂️
@@LSatch 😄
Chicken soup? I don't think so!
Well.........................probably not. She follows me like a puppy.
