- Hey Mama's, this is a brief run down of my experience of my first dating ultrasound which told me my estimated due date for my child.

Hi Lovely, we were meant to pay for our scan pictures but in my case they only gave me a couple so said don't worry about it. I think it depends how strict the hospital is and how many you get. I know a lot of people who didn't even bother paying. NGL I don't think I had to pay for any of mine in the end but I know they legit had a machine that says pay but barely anyone did. But it wasn't that expensive for the scans though from what it said on the machine. & Congratulations bubba x
I hate when they do that, like why do they have to stress you out and not let you know that everything was fine even though they said no news is good news 🙄

a dating scan tests you for those things and that should have been explained to you before ? i don’t know why none of the midwives told you because i got a letter and loads of info about screening etc
Literally, because of Covid no one was explaining anything to new mothers so it was quite hard. I am glad to hear that they did provide you with some information before hand to prep. Hope all went well x
