SAS Boeing 737-700 CLOSE UP Takeoff at Skiathos Airport

Up close with Scandinavian Airlines (SE-REU) heading to Stockholm on a beautiful evening.
With the short runway at Skiathos, airplanes often use more power during takeoff here. Having the engines placed very near the ground, the 737 jetblast is actually more intense than from the larger planes. The airport is challenging in so many ways that most airlines require BOTH pilots to be captains here!

I've flown this actual aircraft but not necessarily to Skiathos. I have landed both B737-800 which we used in the beginning but we changed to the smaller B737-700. We couldn't take off with a full tank of fuel so we needed to make a fuelstop in Thessaloniki on the way back to ARN. With the -700 we flew straight home.
