The worst part is if Megamind never used the gun in THIS MOVIE, it would still be annoying. But the fact he literally uses it on the fish guys in the same godam movie, makes no sense in its own movie. How do you mess up that badly oh my.
The funny thing is that they could've had a valid reason for each of the Doom Syndicate members to be immune to the dehydration gun, the fire guy probably has 0% water in him, the weather lady can control water, the knight guy is covered in armor and the mime could just create a fake double or something, the excuse was RIGHT THERE. Just have Megamind try to use the gun on them only for it to fail, then he can try to stop them with other methods.
This is definitely up there with JonTron’s “I will always love you” rage fit in his Banjo Kazooie review and the Nostalgia Critic’s “Bat Credit Card” rant.

It’s funny how this gun is like one of the most overpowered things in fiction but this movie didn’t use it more
