Can definitely appreciate the R&D and testing you guys put into your products! Looks like a killer unique entry into the current somewhat stale feeling market.
Every single product you make you become more innovative and ground breaking. This is no different! I went straight to the website for another look, this camper is absolutely amazing. Congrats to team Patriot!
thats a really cool camper Justin, i agree with you about putting all the electrical and services in one place. that looks like a work of art the way its all laid out, well done to you and your team
Justin, I just watched your video and I commend you on your vision, determination and drive. I listened to you explain, why you have done, what you have done and unfortunately most won't get it... they will experience it, live it and enjoy it after they've purchase one of your master pieces but unfortunately they won't understand the thought process, the problem solving, the prototyping, and the countless hours put into addressing the issues you see with other competitors campers. I'd also like to commend your family as they have stuck with you, during what I can only imagine have been tough times, whilst you have tried to overcome hurdles and make your dream a reality... they are a diamond in the rough and you are a lucky man. I can appreciate all of this because I am also going through the same struggles and I look up to people like you to give me the drive and courage to keep moving forward through hardships, stress, failures and hopefully one day successes, to create products that make a difference for the people who want to experience the joys of the outdoors. Respect mate!!!! Hopefully one day we bump into each other, crack open a bevy and say a "cheers" to the great outdoors.
The Black truck did it again!!!!!! awesome!!!!!!! man, that truck is so beautiful.....and tows the ST5 easy. Really nice set up! The ST5 is really nice. Congratulations!!!! I can imagine how it tows in the dunes or anywhere else. Compact enough but still spacious an rugged! Great!
Justin, first of all I want to congratulate Patriot Campers on the ST5. It is one awesome camping trailer and the time that you have spend and all the detail and features that you have added and achievements is priceless. This is by far the best camping trailer I have seen. I love camping, I would never be able to afford a camper trailer like that, but I do wish you and every new owner of the ST5 all the best and may you all enjoy stunning camping trips. Again, congratulations on one Hell of a Camping Trailer and video. Happy camping from South Africa.
Oh yea now that’s a master pice of a off road trailer . I’ve loved the x1 ,and now this as life goes on needing more space this nailed it . Cheers to another spectacular adventure trailer . Thanks for sharing . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A.
As a caravan and camper repairer I love the fact that you try to keep it simple and functional rather then everything being about looks yet to have a patriot camper come through our yard for repairs keep up the top work boys
Justin, change that controller to the 100 amps, because if you have 800w of solar at 12.8v is 62amps for maybe 4hrs of peak sun and if you are using high draw appliances like the reverse cycle you could deplete that battery over night. also if your not driving too long i.e. 2-3hrs, 50 amps on 460amps battery means you need close to 10hrs if the solar is not running at peak e.g. winter when down to maybe 20-30% of peak power you run the system too low. put the 100 amp charger as standard and get rid of 50 amp charger.
You can like/love any truck in the whole WORLD ... But nothing will EVER beat the soft spot i have for that BLACK BEAST🖤🖤🖤🖤... EVER!! (Well... maybe just my old rusty Discovery 2 ??? 😁😁😂😂😂😂) You guys do know how to build stuff and... test like no other!! Keep up the awesome work Justin/guys!! and... more trips content PLEASE 🥰🥰😁😁❤❤
Congratulations Justin and the Patriot team and family. The new St5 looks outstanding. And more than likely a home run. Two years ago, I emailed you guys to see if you would be building a caravan/camper style trailer. The response was. We will stick to our campers for now but who knows what the future holds. Two years later, here we have it. I look forward to seeing this in person.
Brilliant Justin! Been great to watch you from the beginning…. I remember messaging you from Canada 10 years ago, we even chatted about flipping the kitchen on the X1 to curb side…. You might remember that conversation…. Anyhow I cooked your grandma’s recipe with that egg in that meat loaf….. sorry I’ve not recovered from that one….never seen it cooked again on patriot games …. Rightfully so 😂 anyhow I hope to see your product in the flesh one day and maybe you make it to Canada. Good job Pal!
Absolutely brilliant to watch the testing in the Simpson doesn’t really impressed by it and then I’ll be watching and I’ve been following the process all the way through love it great trailer ST5 appropriately named what more could one ask for outstanding work, patriot campers
Looks incredible congratulations. I’d love to see what your team could do with a lightweight “teardrop” style trailer. Something that could be towed easily with underpowered vehicles like a Subaru
Can’t wait guys. We will look to upgrade our 2021 X1 to this! I’m 6’5”tall so that will be the big test for us. Currently my only criticism of the X1 is the length of the bed and depending on where/ how we’re parked the height of the awning.
In your pre-release quick video for the ST5, you also had a black Grenadier. I was really looking forward to seeing it in this testing the ST5 video. Is the Grenadier going to feature in some future videos? This new product looks great. I am keen to see one "in the flesh". You made a few comments in the video about improvements you have made with the ST5 over previous products. Maybe a video showing a comparison of each of your products. Highlight the features that each step up brings. Don't hide advantages or disadvantages of each one over the others. Potential buyers will appreciate the honesty, and this will help them pick the most appropriate vehicle for their wants. It will probably also encourage many to go for the best one they can afford.
Insubscribed to this channel years ago but somehow I have to kmanually search for their videos to get them. Dont know why RUclips restricts their content coz its really good.
Great content as always guys but honestly, 18psi is not low tyre pressures. Towing in a basically empty 300 you should be at 10psi and just doing everything easy.
I suggest you consider plumbers silicone grease instead of Vaseline, you can damage the rubber with a petroleum based product. Several brands available from Bunnings. Rog
There is no substitute for 'LOW tyre pressures, when towing 10-15 psi especially high load (thick sidewalls) tyres. I have an AOR Matrix van and its totally dust free in all bulldust, long desert roads and guaranteed by AOR to be dust free. NO dust suppression system, just excellent compression latches. Maybe flick the 'thumb' press locks and use Euro twist camlocks and you may get more compression on the rubber seals, just an idea from others that have zilch dust problems. I had similar issues on a canopy and no amount of tightening of the thumb locks worked.
@@barrythompson8813 Here in Australia the RAM seems to be popular. Back home the Chev is the real deal. However, 4 times the cost here no justification of buying it. Your infrastructure here won't allow to utilize the truck to the fullest extend. Stick with the 70s for these part of the globe,
@@barrythompson8813 As I said, it can pull a house. That's not a point, the Australian roads infrastructure is crap here in Australia for these type of utility trucks. I have a dually back home and we can park, drive etc anywhere. Here you can't even park in a parking lot since everything is so tiny. Back to the infrastructure of roads etc to handle anything bigger than a Hiace.
Have a look at the market ! The Track Trailer T4 is $177k and has little bits of storage all over the place, fuses and water control all over the place, a toilet canister thats really challenging to remove and replace. The devils in the detail and I think Patriot have nailed it.
These are made to last not to see how cheep they can make it. It’s not made for trailer camping it’s made to go off road. You’re investing in reliability when you are out in the middle of nowhere it will work.I have an X1 and I love it. I thought the 50K+ price tag was crazy when I bought it. I’d love to have this.
Just because it's not worth it to YOU that doesn't mean it isn't worth it to other people. When people say their products are too expensive, they're telling the truth. They're too expensive for them as they want lower cost over a higher quality piece.
They would have to have a key to lock the rear but there is an emergency exit above the bed also that takes you out to front ladder in the event of fire or failure of the door 👌
The st5 is absolute perfect would love to see a merger between that and your 6H10 toy hauler , it would be a perfect marriage.
Love the service panel. Brilliant!!!!

Agree, the Redarc gear has been behind the curve for a few years now. Its good solid Australian gear but always behind on capacity.
Or at least make it an option.
Nothing better than knowledgeable, constructive criticism, only makes the world a better place!
Very Larry Perkins with the switchboard layout. He did that with his v8 supercars. Brilliant engineering. Larry put a 5 speed in a unimog too.

Brilliant! What a great bit of gear.
One of the best ever on YT ! Way to go Justin and your team. You must be so proud of the twins, and their banter is funny as on the track 🙂
Well done guys proud of ya 🎉
It's a piece of functional beauty!!!!! Now for a camper for the bed of a pick up???!!!
its bloody awesome well done
100% on the kitchen. We have a jayco crosstrak which I love the outdoor kitchen but can full confirm no benchspace so your spot on

Love the 300 series
I wish the super tourers can be optioned out for builds or even fully set up for purchase along side your campers absolutely dope setup
Im Buying an ST5 ...... Already put down my deposit ...... it will be done and shipped to the US in a year. I can't wait !!

I want the ST5 but I'm in South Africa, planning on doing a drive up to Kenya
Tyre pressures. Tyre pressures tyre pressures. The diff between 18 psi and 14 is massive

Just as well you kept it under the towing capacity for the Gladiator by a mere 50kgs!
Looks amazing 😍
When will people be able to see one in person?
End of November at Patriot HQ 👍

The lc300 gr has the multi terrain modes on the gear nob and put in sand mode
If you could truck mount that you'd have another market.
but now the question, is how will the ST5 hundle gunshot creek cape york?🤔🤔
You have $150k LC300 and $150k camper. Some people might be braver than me with $300k.
Let's find out 😏
Good to see the 79 back you lost me on all that Ram rubbish

very nice how difficult would it be installing single beds so i dont have to sleep with my mates
Easy, two mattresses 👍
Any option for a 2nd bunk? Be perfect to have the ability for kids to sleep inside when needed.
Not in this model sorry
Way too expensive it’s a beautiful camper trailer but not worth 150,000

Hey mate pricing on the website, showrooms on the Gold Coast Aus and Las Vegas!
Price ?
Can you please put the eggs into the st5
What happens if someone locks the stairs up or the rear door down while you are sleeping

Twins sorry justin
How much will a black truck set me back?
Yeah, you wanna swap out with Y62 patrols if you want to climb hills first go......
Yeah but you’d have to clean the vomit every time you look at the interior…..
Batteries vented to the outside ?
Thats such a stupid rule for sealed Lithium batteries. Typical gubbermint just catching up with Lead Acid battery technology.
