I'm proud of Ann Hathaway for not giving into the Hollywood pressure to look 25 forever. She's a real actress, not just a celebrity ❤️
She's 42. In only a few years she might have her first face lift. And who are we to condemn that.
@MegaTinni at least she didn't get one I her 20s
She literally still looks 25 😍😁
She does look 25.
@@MegaTinni facelift is a good idea over fillers at least. It’s what I’d like to do in a decade. I like the way she aged even is she looks so much fresher than younger celebs who had work done ♥️
Of everyone, let’s be honest, when it comes to ageing she’s doing it right! She looks incredible
If you have decent genes, 42 is still an age when you look good naturally. She's not prematurely aged. I looked just as good at 42 with no help. Let's wait until she crosses 50. And if she gets a facelift then, good for her. Her looks deserve to be preserved.
@@dammar117 indeed, all these babies on here praising someone barely 40 to still look good 😅
... but okay, once past 45 it starts to really show and each year really starts to make a difference
She’s 40! That isn’t exactly “Ageing” 😂
@@janicetribbiani7535 nope but in Hollywood it is
We all said that about Madonna once…
I love how she didn’t overdo the surgery and still looks very natural and beautiful.

When I was a child Anne was the definition of beauty for me with those big brown eyes, full lips and flawless skin. She is one of those lucky people who was born naturally beautiful, do not need to change anything on their face and body.
And also self love
She isn't even 50. Just wait.
@@juliadixon8465 Envy, there are young ugly people.
@@juliadixon8465 and you think you’ll be 20 forever?

Hi! I'm a character artist in video games and your videos, like this, help me in my work a lot! Now I understand what I need to add to the character to make him look older or younger, how our faces changing though the years. Thank you!
That’s super cool! Thanks for sharing
Yep, I am learning from this doctor and also Dr. Youn about how our face ages even though I am not an artist like my two cousins.
Do you have any advice for someone who wants to be a character artist for video games? That's so cool!
I was also thinking this is really good information for drawing portraits! I’m more of an amateur artist, but I still find it useful.
That’s really cool
It’s wild how young she looks compared to all the ladies who’ve have had plethora of work done.
She even looks younger than Dove Cameron
And notice how she's not in a lot of movies anymore
@@simmonedavis97 oh. I guess you're right. But I guess that just means, in light of honouring women who are older, that it's time for the movie industry to change to feature only older actresses! Imagine that! It would definitely teach body acceptance and role model what real aging looks like, in addition to using known actors/actresses who we know and love, who also fit the silver screen. Not to mention, what an expanded industry that would be (full of opportunities, and pushing the boundaries of mainstream media!). It should be done! For those that need monetary convincing, it's an untapped industry??!
But to bring things back, I think Anne has done it right and looks amazing. I really respect her! Although whether someone looks amazing or not it's good to be comfortable in ones skin.
She really looks amazing. She's always been gorgeous and she's taken great care of herself.
@@simmonedavis97 to the best that I remember, that was a PR move. She had to get out of the limelight because her public perception became " overbearing" . Similar thing happened with Jennifer Lawrence. She went out of the limelight for a bit because she was everywhere. They both are back now
Notice how Anne herself said that she changed her mind on getting a nose job because her nose added character to her. I wish more people would hear this sentence and feel that your imperfections add to your character and charm !
Unfortunately the younger actresses grew up with social media so their standard of “normal” is already pretty warped. We see celebs getting work done younger as time goes by, they don’t even give time for their body to finish developing before going under the knife.
Same. I'm glad I was too poor to change my face. Now I love it, full of character! And I even look young for my age too, 45! I'm really sick of the same plastic Kardashian big lipped faces.
After my grandma died I changed my mind about getting a nose job. I want to keep the same nose my grandmother and mother have, they've always been beautiful to me.
@@amberbest6942 Yeah, full on cakeup makeup, fake this, fake that. Remove your entire bodysuit so you can "be yourself" when you're at home but ohh a surgery is pushing it too far. Yeah, you putrid skin girls are absolutely illogical. Go take a hard look at yourself without all your facade. Putrid and absolutely vile.
@@wetsockks This si very sweet ❤️
She definitely has a classy and timeless face, I Feel like she is just very good at avoiding a significant amount of aging as well, she probably has a great skin care routine, and also like you said does facials and wears sunscreen No smoking, and also her genetics and her own facial structure. she does a great job of taking care of herself.

@@kevinsamson1693 No one is stopping males to do that
Being rich and having access to the best doctors/treatments/products really helps. As well as diet, eating healthy is expensive and 100% contributes to skin health
I think genetics more than enything and the chin that she has wich the doctor mentioned that delayed ageging. My mom is 60 and barely has any wrinkles never wore sunnscreen, no face cream no facial nothing was out ij the sun almoust daily and is fair skined if not tanned, I do believe that people hugely underestimate genetics

I think she is an excellent example of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” When she sees herself, she probably sees what we see, beautiful features and beautiful skin.

@@arellanoa94 ❤️
It’s refreshing to see an actress embrace her natural beauty. I wanted a nose job for years but I actually like my slight bump now. It gives it a little character and a little contour helps the front profile. I’m not opposed to plastic surgery at all, but using it sparingly and strategically seems like the way to go.
I have a bump too that I hate. I wanted to have that corrected for years but then when I saw what happened with Jennifer Gray, I decided not to. I think she still looks great but she just doesn't look the same or as cute as she did before her nose job. I like my face. Straight on my nose looks fine. It's the profile I hate. My father was so surprised to hear me say I hated my nose since I was 14: "are you crazy? You have a classic Roman nose!" I just don't want to get a nose job and have it change how my face looks straight on.
Yes. These things give us variety, it's not a flaw.
If surgery is used then it’s not natural beauty anymore
@@VeryKinkyCurl I would add to that fillers and possibly even threading.
@@thenightporter But you saw pictures of Jennifer after her rhinoplasty, but also 25 years older. That's not a fair comparison, is it?
She is such a natural beauty! As an RN, I appreciate the fact that you always explain body features and medical procedures scientifically, but also add in personal thoughts on results. You are an excellent teacher and I love your videos!🥰👨🏼⚕️🩺

I agree with you, Emily.
Emily would you plz define for me the term “ NATURAL BEAUTY “ that term has never been associated with black women
@@claudeedwards7069 I have always associated that term inclusively with every woman of every type of ethnicity💗
He's so empathetic, that's I follow him and value his opinion the most too!
Anne is one of the few celebrities I would *honestly* say only gets better with age. Her face has character, unlike a lot of these celebrities that copy one another in their surgeries-- and her features are naturally just so gorgeous.
Her smile resembles Julia Roberts
@@lavish_1717 oh my god you’re right
Obviously I don't know her but she seems like such a cool person, too. I've never seen her exude any shallowness or narcissistic behavior.
I want to say her mother was quite a famous stage performer? Stage performers tend to not overdo cosmetic work as they need to really be able to emote. I wonder if that was a positive influence on Anne's approach to procedures. Admittedly, she really doesn't need anything. She clearly has good genetics, good eating/drinking habits and a good skincare routine.
I remember when I first saw her on screen as a kid, just completely in awe of how could a person looking so perfect like that actually exists, even though people used to hate her for no reason back then.
I wish she hadn't gone with the "weight loss and start dressing fashionably" to elevate her career like Brittany Murphy also did instead of relying upon their acting skills.
I remember when she got a lot of hate, and it seemed to be because she was seen as a know-it-all, pretentious theater kid. I don't really agree with that, but I can see why people said that. So it wasn't that there was "no reason" for the hate, but the main reason sure was a dumb one. I always thought she was so naturally gorgeous, and she clearly takes her craft seriously.
Then maybe you didn't see the beauty that existed in Princess Diana and some people hated her
We can agree to disagree. I never understood why ppl consider her beautiful. I don't and that's okay!
yea i used to love her look in princess diaries, STUNNING
In a country that's becoming increasingly over pulled, over tucked and over filled I appreciate that you discuss what's natural and what's not. Your videos are a fun way to learn about anatomical structures, variances, and medical terminology. This info has helped me have more meaningful discussions with my physicians. Thanks for all you do!
Over pulled, over tucked and over filled 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I just don't like that a lot of his format is a copy paste from Lorry Hill
@@MegaTinni This type of content is not revolutionary. Some people have been making videos like this even before lorry hill. She just made the whole thing more mainstream.
@@rathan3288 the exact wording at times in the intro: 'so and so has a natural beautiful...' are so copy exact of Lorry.
Also the price roundup exactly at the end. Again signature Lorry. The 'what it costs to look like...' is just Lorry talking.
No denying.
I think he definitely goes more into the muscles and natural vs unnatural aging. I like how he draws on the faces, too.
I don’t mind him using some of the things Lorry does. They are good things! I think they both have good voices and opinions. I enjoy them both and don’t see him as a copy cat (there are many copy cat Videos out there). I’m a Lorry sub and am not going anywhere, I’m new to his channel. But I’m learning a lot more of the details and I think that’s great.
Love how they are both kind.
Omg, an actress that actually decided to forego surgeries. It speaks very well to her ability to remind firm in her decisions.
Remain*
The woman is also barely 40!
What do you expect a 42yo to look like??
Wait until 45-50.
And after that it goes very fast, each year makes a visible difference.
She's still relatively young. I'm confident she won't forego surgeries forever. Also, just as it's silly to shame people for aging naturally, it's just as silly to shame them for getting plastic surgery if they want to.
I am betting she is careful about sun exposure too. Your skin will remember every "great tan" you get at the beach and it is hard for it to recover.
She also has a neutral "resting face."
If everyone aged like her, plastic surgeons would be bankrupt
Whoever is doing your editing deserves a raise. The little edits and comic effects are hilarious 😂 I’ve been waiting to hear about Anne, always wondered if she’d had anything done as she is so gorgeous. I’d love to hear about Liv Tyler too, I’ve always been curious about her, she is so ethereal and gorgeous and she has said some ambiguous things about plastic surgery in the past.

I think Anne looks great, hard to believe she is in her 40s, how time flies. I still thought of her as a 20 something, I always think most people are more beautiful than they believe, I am glad she kept her natural features.
I love this whole pencil marker thing you’re doing with this video. Helps me to see what you’re seeing. I really enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much!
All this video has proved to me, is that Anne is a natural beauty and she looks amazing. It's strange to me, when people in their 40s try to look like they are in their 20s. This just is a proof of a perfectly looking mature woman!!!
Yes!! And in fact, we can gain different features. Like Anne's eyes are beautiful and it's more prominently doe shaped which is really cute and attractive.
When I age I look forward to gaining interesting/and different look and maybe I'll also get to enjoy new facial features at that time too. Anne's really a class act!
I didn’t realize she once wanted a nose job! I think her nose really fits her face. I, too, wanted a nose job for the longest time (and told everyone that my first paycheck savings would towards getting one), but thankfully I’ve come to like the roundness of it. My features are generally round anyways so I’ve decided that it fits my face enough that it’s not worth the pain or the money to get a very slightly different nose ☺️
You're beautiful ❤️
@@Shamala-Hairless thank you! As are you 🥰 I hope everyone can find beauty within themselves ☺️

@@helixmoore7636 I agree! I think you looks good either way. My comment was in support of his desire to have his hair return😍
She's gorgeous. It's a breath of fresh air to see this analysis as she hasn't had any actual surgery and looks more natural than most celebrities.
Please keep these kinds of videos coming. The way you professionally analyze her face, yet still make it seem beautiful is so encouraging. Especially surrounded by a world that wants to look the same.
We'll keep them coming!
Thank you for everything you do! ❤️
Truly cannot get over how gorgeous her lip shape was! And honestly still is. I think she just gets more and more gorgeous-natural aging truly looks best on most people imo. Also helps her skin has always been flawless! She looks younger than those who are fighting their aging so hard who end up looking so plastic and puffy :/ a little help here and there I can’t blame ppl for, especially celebs, but so many go overboard now.
There is nothing more powerful than authentic beauty.
I like your board. It’s very hi tech. Those things that everyone says are fat pads under her eyes but are really muscles, my daughter has those and calls them ‘eye bubbles.’
She has found a perfect balance between beauty enhancing processes and the "don't you dare to over do it" interventions. She looks simply amazing and I appreciate your analysis.
can you do a video on Cate Blanchette? She hasn't aged in like 15 years, but her face still looks natural (like no obvious fillers)
She looks completely transformed and not good
she's confirming my decision to not start Botox until later in my 30s! and confirming that, when I tell people my secret is sunscreen and retinol, I'm not lying! she's always been so gorgeous, and I'm so happy she's allowed herself to age so beautifully 🥰
30 is young .
Mid 40 maybe
I will never do that. Ur crazy
I started 2x a year at 35 and have always been great about spf and now retinol. I started because I looked angry when I wasn't (brows & forehead). Just relaxing the muscle regularly starting earlier means at 50 I still only go 2x a year on average and I have way fewer wrinkles than my friends who never have or started in their mid to late 40s. And I have all of the expression.
@@clwilson24how do you have all the expression if some of your muscles don't move?
Great analysis as always! I'd love to see an analysis on Rachel Weisz as well. She has such a graceful, natural look to her, it would be interesting to see if she had anything done.

Not until I’m ready to drop $$$$ to enhance it! Lol
@@etherealdeal1792 😂 I hear that. But I’m ready to drop $$$ on some kind of chin augmentation… just not sure which is best for ME.
I don't want to enhance my face at all, but i'm not happy with my smile. My face is perfect when i don't smile, but when i do, it feels like my smile is restricted by my cheeks, like i have no room. So when i do my biggest smile, only my top 6 teeth show. I've always wondered why that was the case. Maybe i have low cheekbones.

And we must consider menopause naturally.
Once I was post menopause, my skin drooped like an ice cream cone lol.
Just like moms being proud of their stretch marks from having a baby, we must be proud of our aging skin.
Must we?
I think it is fine to think of it as a neutral fact of life. Not positive, not negative, just a minor thing that has changed.
I especially enjoyed this new method of teaching with your analysis board Dr Gary much thanks for the great work.
You're very welcome!
I have the same nose which I really disliked when I was young. With age comes self acceptance and now when I look at my nose, I see my dad's nose. And that makes me happy
I wish I had that type of natural nose :/
It’s a gorgeous nose!!!
Lol, I was always super bitter about mine since it had a prominent dorsal hump and literally no one else I was related to had one--not parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents; not cousins, aunts, or uncles. Literally no one 😂 (hence me getting the bump removed at 25 when I figured my brain was done developing so if I STILL wanted it gone and had the money, then I was gonna make my lifelong dream come true, dammit! 😝 3 years later and I have no regrets, but it's definitely not for everyone ❤
She still looks so young and beautiful! She's aging beautifully and gracefully 👸 Such a queen.
She ages very beautifully, great actress as well.
In 2009, AH came to our fundraiser. It instantly became clear to me then the difference between actor-beautiful vs mortal-attractive. She also had a friendly sweetness about her. Very natural -- in visuals and personality.
Thank you for the analysis - she's a beautiful woman and I respect that she's really only had non invasive procedures and looks so great!

Ann Hathway is aging naturally & is still beautiful with possible minor procedures.
Thank you, Thalia! 🙏
she is such a natural beauty
Beauty is something we’re given custody of. She was given remarkable features and she has treated them with the care they deserve. It would be terrible to take any serious risks with such a face.
Your demeanor is so chill and the videos are so informative! Never knew plastic surgery and procedures could be SO interesting!
Thank you! 🙏
She has a natural breathtaking beauty; her skin, her lips, her eyes, her teeths, her hair,
everything is just perfect, lucky girl ! :)
she's an example of using procedures for the absolute minimum, not to roll back the clock but just to look good at any given age. that's really the healthiest attitude that can be brought to cosmetic procedures imho. also I think her in her 40s is in some ways even more beautiful than before. she has kind of that effortless Parisian look to her because she hasn't been overdone. age in itself can have beautifying effects if we give it a chance...because we so seldom see a woman in her 40s that hasn't been overly plastic surgeried... that age is now slowly becoming the new beauty standard....it's refreshing for the eye to see.
I can imagine how beautiful she'll be with gray hair. She's classically beautiful and seems authentically comfortable in her own skin.
i love that you're actually drawing on the pictures to show things, its very helpful to see!!
Anne has always been such a classic beauty. She can act and sing and seems really cool to boot. Thanks for doing a video on her.
Dr. Linkov, your medical terminology refreshes my high school biology and anatomy classes. Thanks for not dumbing it down and not presenting this and all other cases in a non- sensationalized way. You’re a physician and a scientist and you present so well. The details with the pen were nice touch.
Ann Hathaway has always looked INCREDIBLE!!!!!
Anne takes her craft VERY seriously and is a big fan of method acting as well. Her features are a lot like my own; she has those English/Irish/Scottish genes, too! Love this and love the natural look she continues to embrace, and I’m proud of her for that. Excellent video! Thank you for the fresh perspective! 👌
Late 50s here. Used to get comparisons to Sian Young (the dark haired one in Blade Runner), Sigourney Weaver, and yes, a few Anne Hathaway(s). I'm on the spectrum; many of us look a decade or so younger than our chronological age.
Then came menopause. Now I'm invisible. But it was a ride, I guess.
Method acting is ridiculed by serious actors. Her being a fan of method acting doesn't speak well on her as an actor.
Anne is real and genuine. Authenticity is hard to find. She is a real beauty.
She’s a great natural beauty. I don’t see anything bulbous about her nose. It’s perfect.

Thank you for this and talking about how Anne is aging gratefully. I'm 33 and my face is thinning a bit and losing some plumpness.
She looks younger than many celebrities who have multiple surgeries. Absolutely beautiful
Excellent video, Gary! The addition of the analysis board to illustrate even better your explanations is really good. Many thanks again for your very interesting content and all your work!
I really liked to see the markings! helped me understand exactly what you were talking about. Anne is one of the very few natural beauties and is aging wonderfully.
She looks amazing. After all of the information I've reviewed, it seems like taking care of your skin is really where it's at.
One of the nicest and most talented actresses in Hollywood. Unfortunately for all of us, time flies and shows no mercy to anyone.😣 It's only fair to have something done in order to hide some of the signs of time's cruelty, especially in women's cases. Besides, she did it gracefully and looks great.❤

I’ve always thought she was beautiful, but since she’s my age I guess I’ve never really thought about HOW she’s aging. She doesn’t just look great for being 41, she looks great period. And I love that. I think it’s excellent for women in their 30s and 40s to be able to look at an A-list celebrity and NOT see an appearance that’s only attainable with 6 figures to spend.
Seeing the changes in Anne described with such care and kindness (because it is so natural) make me feel even better about my own facial aging (esp since I'm only two years older than her)! Great video!
