🚄 INFORMATION KEY
Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Multiple Units are 6 digit numbers where the first three numbers are the class of train e.g. 390154 would be a class 390. Click Here to learn more

Headcodes - e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 - These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.o...
Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.
🚄 ABOUT ME
Hello everyone, I’m StarlifeStudios and my passion is to experience and video railway stations across the United Kingdom at both small and large locations, but, with an informative twist! My videos are also designed as a historical reference for the days of the past and to reminisce about the way things were. Join me as I continue to travel and be sure to let me know if you’d like me to video at your favourite or local station.
What was your FAVOURITE train from this video? Are you a Steam fan or Diesel maniac?
Steam fan
Steam Fan. You Can’t Beat Steam Engines
Because of London MARYLEBONE, the Class 68 is my most favourite because of the full power the Class 68 makes and it's *SO LOUD* when it came out of London Marylebone. The Avenger and the Titan Class 68s needs to change their logo 'DRS'.
Depends on the day. I switch back and forth between steam and deisel. I love them both
It's gotta be the Class 20!
Nice to see you cover Chiltern again! Another great video!
I always try and mix operators since they are all unique! Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed.
I love your video starlife
Welcoem to Birmingham! When i Remember your oldest video was class 172 leaving at Birmingham moor street! I hope Nottingham will be next Sunday Because it will be my birthay there!
Great video! If you're looking for a new country to visit over the summer, Ireland is nice! I'd recommend Kildare station if you're looking for variety; on a good day you can find freight, express and commuter services!
The sound of the class 20 leaving 24:34
Great to see, you are just down the road from me! I am in Birmingham right now, I am staying in the Radisson blu hotel just a 5-10minute walk from moor street. And around 3-5 minutes to new street :))
Awesome! I spent over 10 years working in Central Birmingham so I know it well. Hope you are doing well. 😃
I Hope you are doing good also :)
Welcome back to the West Midlands. Very good video. I love Birmingham Moor Street. It is one of the best stations in Birmingham to me. And is in fact way better than New Street.
Both Moor Street and New Street have appeal, this station is much newer and has a much better aesthetic. New Street is Voyager central and is always busy but dark. I think I agree that it’s better than New Street! 😃
Nice vid😊
Love to come back to the channel (might remember me)
Welcome back! 😉
Great video 👍😀
We made a return to Birmingham 🔥🔥
As the 730s enter service, I will be around this area a lot more! 😉
@@StarlifeStudiosBut it's on the Walsall-Wolverhampton route. And it hasn't entered service on the Cross City Line (Redditch/Bromsgrove-Lichfield Trent Valley) until some of the Class 323s are transferred to Northern Rail.
@@robertmwamba945 730s enter service next monday on the cross city line
Thanks for another fab video. I love the station architecture there.
And Starlife’s First Video has Returned! Good Job!
Request: Bridgwater
Technically his first videos are some lego videos but he deleted them
@LordEverythingtrains We won’t talk about them 🤣
Yes! Even the same unit appears in this video 😃👍🏻
Ross. please may you do Bridgwater?
I will look into it, since the HSTs stopped off the variety has reduced considerably but I may be able to make something work (maybe a flask train or something) Thanks for the suggestion 😃
Nice vid
Thank you!
If you can could you do one of these at stockport
I wanted to film at Stockport last year but it didn’t work out since trains were being cancelled on the day. I ended up not filming but I will try again in the summer this year. Thanks for the suggestion 😃
the class 68s are the best I’m so happy u went to this station
That 68 got some power 🎉🎉🎉
Love the crossover with class 172
I do like West Midlands Railway Class 170, Class 172 and Class 196. They should introduce the Class 730/0 on the Cross-City Line sometime later this year.
Great video.
Thank you! 👍🏻
Can yoy do trais at Coatbridge Central (On the Whifflet Line)
Hey Starlife, is Birmingham Moor Street in the West Midlands?
It certainly is! Central Birmingham.
nice!!
Nice video
Another amazing video Starlife!! Some cool stuff you got there especially the MPV and both railtours as well!! I prefer diesel myself but if theres a mainline steam charter I wont say no!! I really like how the station has been preserved in its old Great Western state and the 172 livery fits in really well with it!! Also, how do you make your thumbnails? Im looking to improve mine and dunno what to use
Great vid i could of seen you I was at snow Hill that day
I remember seeing it in snow hill
My favourite Birmingham station, beats the clutter of New Street by a mile and Snow Hill is a bit soulless (shame they demolished the old one). Great clips especially the steamie at the end. By any chance did you see the thumper yesterday? I saw it at Herne Hill
I didn’t see it! I wanted to but I’ve spent the weekend with my family instead (I’ve already filmed for one day this week). Hope you got some great clips and Thanks 😃
@@StarlifeStudios yep, got footage at 4 stations which is great
@LordEverythingtrains Great to hear 🙂
What software do you use to make your iconoc intro? 0:38
I use Adobe After Effects. Thanks for your support 👍🏻
Great video do u have any gwml videos coming up?
Starlife will have some GWML videos coming soon
@@maimadha how do you know?
Do you use an app to know the HUD of the train and right before the train shows up?
Did you hear about the hogwarts express
