      Precisely.
      Not to mention the fact that the buyer can more than likely get a significant amount toward their mortgage each month, w/ it as (relatively steep) rental prop… while and/or even after building a full-size new home on the land, for themselves.
      Cuz seems like it could easily work for a single person/even young couple/etc - ‘tiny’ tho it may be.

      chinese 'property,' lol. as their entire system is collapsing, i wouldn't count on its value there, which last i heard was crashing. since no one over 35 can seem to get a job, that's a problem.
      chinese love home ownership. it's a thing for them. this chick, imo, has a high likelihood of buying for a chinese company/government.

      @@CoolHand273 over the years here, we certainly have seen a lot of knockdowns and new builds - I don’t know what the current cost per square foot of building in Cupertino is? The story seems worth a follow up. Sometimes initial impressions can be misleading.

    • @JBoy340a
      @JBoy340a 29 дней назад

      Nope. Only for one year. The buyer will rebuild and flip for $5M after that. And CA property taxes bills are largely fixed at around 1% of the selling price. As prices continue to rise around them, homeowners pay the close to the same property tax year after year, decade after decade, regardless of the home's market value.

      someone who is working in a rapidly growing sector (AI, machine learning, self driving cars; there are even plenty of people who lack talent but they are able to work a very high paying job off of the backs of people who actually do have skills) despite a collapsing economy. the biggest fortunes are made when there is blood in the streets. There are not as many of these high paid workers as you are led to believe but unfortunately for the rest of us there are enough of them to move the housing market.
